Launch monitor and simulator brand Rapsodo has announced a new partnership with Golf NSW and the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation (JNJG), becoming its official Technology Partner.
Through this collaboration, Rapsodo will support Golf NSW and JNJG’s mission to nurture the development of junior golfers across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, providing young players with access to Rapsodo’s advanced technology to help them train smarter, play better, and reach their full potential.
For close to four decades, JNJG has played a pivotal role in shaping the future of golf in Australia. Established by the late Jack Newton OAM, one of the country’s most beloved and influential professional golfers, the organisation runs an extensive calendar of junior tournaments, development programs, and school initiatives. As the recognised junior pathway arm of Golf NSW, JNJG offers structured programs for thousands of young golfers — from grassroots beginners to those progressing toward elite competition.
“Jack Newton Junior Golf has built the largest junior development program in Australia, and we’re honoured to support their mission as a Technology Partner,” says Matthew Rigby, Director of International Markets at Rapsodo. “Our goal is to empower the next generation of golfers with the same technology trusted by professionals and coaches worldwide, making performance data accessible and impactful from the earliest stages of a golfer’s journey.”
Rapsodo’s MLM2Pro Mobile Launch Monitor & Golf Simulator will be used in schools and junior golf programmes in the New South Wales to help grow the game
As part of the partnership, Rapsodo will collaborate with Golf NSW and JNJG to integrate its MLM2PRO Launch Monitor + Golf Simulator technology into school and junior programs and events, helping players and their coaches train with data-driven insights and analytics.
Golf NSW and Jack Newton Junior Golf spokesperson Mark Ingrey, General Manager – Regional NSW/ACT welcomed the announcement: “Golf NSW and JNJG has always been about opening doors for young people to discover and enjoy the game of golf. Partnering with Rapsodo brings world-class technology into that experience, giving juniors the chance to train with the same insights used by the very best players. It’s an exciting step forward in preparing our juniors for success on and off the course.”
This partnership aligns perfectly with Rapsodo’s commitment to empowering golfers at every level, from grassroots participation to the highest levels of the game. That pathway is exemplified by Stephanie Kyriacou, LPGA Tour professional and Rapsodo ambassador, who is a former JNJG Junior and NSW Junior State Team Member.
