Almost every single shot Max hit starts left and bleeds back to the right. There’s not many better in the world than him from this length. Will Homer fall in that next year or does he have to actually play a little better to surprise me if he gets one here or there? Yeah, but not all like they got all he’s not going to get the the he’s not going to get the Jordan and Ricky treatment. Our tracing technology is provided by Trackman. Max beauty. There’s a quality golf shot. [Applause] [Music] Our Trackman technology is presented by Titus, the number one ball in golf. That was a pretty darn good Trackman, too. Big cut. One hop into the flag stick. Flag stick’s not always your friend, but it was Max’s here. Yeah, this is like uh Jack Nicholas US Open 1972. 17th hole. Bam. One iron off the flag stick. 4T seven. I actually thought it was closer than that. Banking it off the pin. There you go. Max on the tea at the par4 night. Well, if there’s a T-shot, you can stand up there and just give it a free swing on this golf course. This is it right here at the ninth. And that’s a beauty there from Max. Immediately turns this into a birdie hall. Second for Max Homer here at the ninth. [Applause] Yep. Max Homa looking to get to two under. There’s a birdie putt from less than 10 feet. A properly played hole right there from Max. Well, there’s no doubt because you know where is his vantage point. All he can see that water down the right hand side. And this is actually a very very good shot. Should stay in the fairway. Now it’s going to trickle in, but it’s going to stay out of that penalty here on the right hand side. That’s not a bad position to be pitching from here, I’m telling you. Okay, now home a pretty good lie over in that hand side. That ball landed so softy there. A little bit surprised it came down that soft, but he’s got himself a decent opportunity for birdie. Yeah, this would be for three birdies in last five holes. Yeah, moving in the right direction is Max. Yeah. Thanks. Thanks. This is his cap wedge here. He can max this out. That’s good teamwork and good execution. I mean, I love hearing Max Ho talk shots through shots with Lance. for perfect decision on club. Y remember that long conversation he had with his caddy Lance Bennett hits that nice iron shot. Makes the birdie putt. Backto back birdies now for Max. One thing I like about Max swing, there is no rush once he gets to the top of the swing and hurried motion on the way down. looking for the soft bounce but didn’t get it. I mean, there’s some trees over there. He may be okay, but it’s going to be playing over a front bunker to a green running away. And very fortunate to have an opening here. Settle. That’s a very nice spot to putt from. He’ll be putting straight uphill. Oh, it’s got some pace and the line and Max makes another one to get to five under par. Just one hiccup on the car that came at the second. One yard right. It’s got to be in the fairway right. He asked for it to be one yard right and he got the nice bounce. He is in the fairway. Did you say something? Sher. That was an eight iron. Just didn’t have quite the fade on it, but good distance. He certainly has burned a lot of edges, Billy Ray. And that’ll be a five under 67 to open up this Sanderson Farms Championship. Nice start because he’ll be able to turn right around and play in the morning. And he talked to Todd Lewis on the 15th hole about one of the things he hasn’t been able to do in the last year or so is put four good rounds together. Well, he’s started it off. You can’t put four together if you don’t put one on the board. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. To watch more, click here. To subscribe, click here.
