nicest course in New York. Today we’re playing Hudson National. It’s rated the 88th best course in the US, but trust me, that rating does not do it justice. It just might be the best course in New York. First on the cliffs above the Hudson River, the views are insane, the design is brutal, and every hole is unforgettable. Today, it’s Garrett, Bubby, and Matt taking on Shawn and Brad. Let’s get into it. We’re coming after them. It’s good they’re chirping. That means they’re intimidated. Let them stay in it early. Don’t let them get too down. [Music] Hudson National. Man, this is like just by looking at it from the putting green, it’s already in my top 10. I already know it’s going to be. I love New York golf. I love Northeast golf in general. So, coming out to a spot and getting an opportunity to play here is a real treat. I It’s just cool cuz you can already tell there’s a lot of undulation, stuff like that. I don’t I mean we live in Texas so seeing the same old flat course heavy hole kind of gets old and seeing stuff like this like crazy. Holy crap. This place is insane. Kind of like Garrett said when you’re on the putting green you look out. I mean we could see like there was a that massive bridge there with a water overlook. Oh my gosh. I just can’t wait to go play it. I looked at I looked at one of the holes and it is a tight fairway. Reminds me a lot of uh Oakmont and how difficult that course was. So hopefully the rough isn’t too crazy out there. And hopefully I can keep it in the fairway, so it doesn’t matter. But regardless, it’s literally a perfect day. Not a lot of wind. This course is going to be a freaking blast. You know it’s good when you get to the range and they have really good balls that are customized. By the way, some cliff face like this is What is this? Wish the fairways were this big. Dude, I tell you what, man. This is going to be a treat. I am so excited. Looks like Brad and I are going to be taking on three amigos over there. Garrett, Sh and Bubby, we all decided to wear the same shirt. So, I think you guys are in for a treat. I know Garrett already talked about a little bit, but this is on a lot of people’s bucket list to try to play a golf course like this. Pretty blessed to be out here. Pretty blessed to be able to play play golf with my friend Tom Broers today. Did you set this one up? No. No, I did not. This was not me. So, I can’t even give him credit for it. Today was day one of the Ryder Cup. saw the fly over. I’m sure the clip can be played. It was absolutely beautiful. Super dope. Felt like a kid at a candy store. I’ve always watched him play. Levig Oberg just looks like an athlete over the ball. Just reacts. Then I saw a video on Instagram that said, “Why is a golf swing any different than throwing a ball?” You never think when you throw a ball. It’s natural. Then all of a sudden, you had an extension of the body and you think about it a little more. I’m going to try and be quick, Bubby, today. That’s right. React. Not a whole lot of think. Just get over the ball. Just do it, man. Just like throwing a ball. [Music] You guys already heard the voiceover intro, but today is going to be insane. This course instantly probably goes into a good good top five course, if not higher. Once we finish this up, I’m going to actually rank it amongst all the courses that we’ve played on GoodG Good. And I have a feeling it’s going to be way up there. Just already looking at the first hole. Insane. There’s not an imperfection out here. Hudson National 2v3 scramble. Me, Bubby, and Sharf versus Shawn and Brad. Personally, I think it’s gonna be very, very tough for us to have a chance. I kind of like it. I like being the underdog today. It’s a good feeling, you know, Brad. So, don’t get too comfortable up there. I’m not. First hole is a 500y par4. Right into it, huh? Right into it. 500 yard par4. Draw that bunker. Might be over. I don’t know if you want it over it bunker in the bunker. Unfortunately, that’s not going to be ideal, but it is a scramble. So, as long as SH for Bubby hits a good T- shot, we’ll be able to take theirs. Call it good. Got to go low. Got to play well. It’s Brad and Shawn we’re going up against. I know Fosio moved a ton of dirt and probably exploded a bunch of dynamite and stuff like that to move mountains and everything in this course, but it just looks so natural. All right, 184 flag. Like, they literally keep this place so pristine. It’s only open like six or seven months a year, which is insane. Like the week after the masters to right before Thanksgiving is when it’s open.
