President Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai has offered fans a glimpse into what her life is like when she pays a visit to the White House, revealing the unique activities she gets to enjoy while spending time at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

The high school senior and budding YouTube star, who is the daughter of Don Jr. and his former wife, Vanessa, skyrocketed to fame when she made a speech in support of her grandfather during the Republican National Convention in July 2024.

In the year since, Kai, 18, has earned a loyal following online, where she regularly showcases her life as the granddaughter of the president. That most recently saw her traveling from her home in Florida to Washington, DC, where she spent some time at the White House in the company of her grandfather.

The main purpose of her visit, she revealed in the clip, was to shoot promotional photos and videos for her newly released collection of sweatshirts, which feature her initials and her signature, and retail for $140 apiece.

“This collection is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here,” she states on her website.

“Launching this line has been such an exciting project. From the quality of the fabric to the details in the designs, I wanted to create a piece that isn’t just merch but a staple you can wear anywhere. There are Clean pieces you can mix, match, and make your own. I can’t wait to see how you style them!”

While avid golfer Kai fulfilled a dream by launching her own merch, she admitted during her trip to the White House that she was also living out the dreams of many by being given such unrestricted access to the historic property—even getting the opportunity to putt some golf balls on the front lawn.

The teenager began her video at home in Jupiter, FL, where her mother and father both own homes near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, before traveling to DC for her all-important photo shoot.

Kai made the trip with her younger brother Spencer, revealing that they traveled on a commercial flight to the nation’s capital, where they were picked up by the Secret Service, who drove them to the White House, where they quickly settled in.

One of the first stops on the trip was the uppermost White House balcony, where Kai and her brother took in incredible views of the Washington Monument, with the teen telling her viewers: “Look how beautiful it is.”

Kai then retreated to a bathroom to get prepared for her photo shoot, admitting to the cameras that she was “exhausted” after being “up all night.”

The siblings were then treated to a chef-prepared meal in a private room of the White House, with Kai crediting the chefs for knowing that she “loves [her] grilled chicken.”

Having refueled, Kai met up with the crew for her photo shoot, before heading outside to scout the best locations—at which point she recalled how she and Trump’s son Barron, now 19, used to play soccer on the lawn outside the White House, revealing that they would often try to lure the Secret Service into joining their games.

“Me and Barron used to play soccer on this lawn, and we used to have the Secret Service, and we’d try and kick the ball to the Secret Service,” she recounted. “They couldn’t kick it back, but we’d try having them included.”

She added: “[It was] so long ago. I actually think one of the first times I came here, I had a broken arm, and me and Barron played soccer out here.”

The time then came for Kai to show off her golfing skills on the putting green at the White House, which served as the perfect spot for her to model her merch.

Kai couldn’t help but mock the condition of her grandfather’s green, saying that the balls were moving “a little slow” because he had “not rolled these out whatsoever.”

She did, at one point, suffer from some stage fright, joking as the photographer snapped away: “This is cringe. The Secret Service are watching like, ‘What?'”

Still, she voiced amazement at the opportunity being given to her: “That’s pretty cool. Not many people get to do that.”

The shoot continued around different areas outside the White House before proceeding to the Lincoln Memorial.

Once back in her room, Kai treated herself to a sweet treat, which had been specially prepared for her by the White House kitchen: gluten-free sugar cookies in the shape of the iconic building.

“Pretty good,” she said of the snack. “Especially for gluten-free. Pretty good.”

After getting a well-earned night of rest, Kai woke early the next day to head to the Trump National Golf Course with her grandfather, who drove her around the course in a golf cart, while pointing out areas on the estate that serve as popular wedding venues.

The duo also stopped at the club’s indoor tennis courts, which Trump explained were equipped with special lights that “go up and bounce down so they don’t get in your way when you play.”

She continued her day by signing some of her merch, before paying another visit to the White House rooftop, where she expressed her gratitude at being able to visit such an iconic property.

“I’m so thankful to be able to come here, visit here, stay here,” she said.

Last but not least, she spent some time in the White House’s golf simulator where she “hit some shots,” before making the return trip to Jupiter with her brother.

Kai previously took to YouTube to showcase an inside look at the unknown grounds of the White House.

In the viral video, the teenager gave fans a look at what Easter at the White House is like.

As she walked through the front area of the White House, which was covered in tile flooring, Kai revealed that they were heading to their rooms.

She noted that she would be staying in the Lincoln Bedroom while joking that her brother Donnie would be staying in the kids’ bedrooms.

Kai has certainly had her fair share of experiences with iconic properties—not least her grandfather’s enormous Mar-a-Lago estate, where she regularly gets to play golf.

Mar-a-Lago was originally built between 1924 and 1927 on an area of land that was once nothing more than a swamp. It was commissioned by cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post.

Today, the property boasts 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, and three bomb shelters. Other very lavish amenities include an 1,800-square-foot living room, a private theater, and a nine-hole golf course.

It was purchased by Trump in 1985 for just $10 million. He renovated multiple areas, which included adding a putting green, tennis court, salon and health club, and spa. He opened up areas of the estate to the public as a private club in 1995.

By comparison, the White House boasts 132 rooms, including 16 bedrooms and 35 bathrooms. There’s also a dentist’s office, home theater, bowling alley, swimming pool, jogging track, and putting green.

As for Kai’s own home, she is understood to split her time between her parents, Don Jr. and Vanessa, who split in 2017 after 13 years of marriage.
