And off it goes for Shane. Now on the T. Russell, one of the more accurate players on the BJ Tour, pipes it down the middle of the fairway. It’s a good start for me. Let’s go to his mate, his team mate yesterday and one of his best friends Shane Lowry to win the hole. Back at one. [Applause] Usually one of his strengths hasn’t shown up for that club this week. to two Henley for the win to square things up. [Applause] And Russell Henley Henley likes to play a draw. Not a good hole location for Russell. This looks so good in the air. Oh, what a shot there by Russell Henley. Maybe a ball ball and a half outside right knocking the back of the cup like that. I think he was listening to you there, Jay. That was a lovely putt. It’s easy talking uh Lowry into making putts, though. Just a little bit from the right. There you go, Jay. Matching twos. That’s a pretty good hole, too, to have the hole with birdies. Yeah, and they’ve had a lot of opportunities obviously in the Ryder Cup, but as well in the Olympics in Tokyo and Paris to bond. And in it goes for Shane Lowry. What can Larry do? Lofted wedge to six there. Perfect. No let up from Shane. He’s not a high spin guy. Kicking in a little low. try and take some spin off. Two wonderful shots. All right. So, a couple of parts at 10 for Fitzpatrick and Dambo. This to tie the hole with birdies for Lowry, which he does. That was a sarcastic tip to the cap to somebody left of six green. Russell Henley at the ninth. [Applause] So that match is tied up now. The eb and flow is quite remarkable. It’s through a big solid block of red bottom half of that mini leaderboard. [Applause] He hasn’t missed too many of those this season. Russell Henley meanwhile back at the par five 13th has this to win the hole and take the advantage over Shane Lowry. [Music] Richie Dance a little bit of red on the board. This is Russell Henley. He’s found another one as well. [Applause] All 15. Two down against Russell Henley. Oh, big shot right there. That was a moment ago. This is to win the hole. [Applause] What a three from Larry. Half the deficit. Beautiful [Applause] looking shot here on 16 pin right there. [Music] Good response from the left rough. Great distance control. He’s an emotional leader of our team and he’s been great and uh you know I’m proud to be battling with with guys like that out here. Thanks Scotty. Appreciate it. Thanks. Russell Kennley holds for birdie at 16. Anthony Wall has come back to this match. Just down the slope. Simple punt. A half in three. So handle remains one up with two holes to play. A little too much shape on that one. It’s going to catch the slope away it goes. That really opens the door right there of missing the right level. Makes the job a lot easier for Henley. Good one. Great shot. What a nice shot. The best of his line perhaps. He wasn’t looking very comfortable, was he? [Applause] Even though they teamed up with President Scott, but he’s coming to his own today. Such a tough putt coming up that hill to get the pace right. And that’s that’s not bad, but that’s 3 and 1/2 ft at least. What a putt downhill. Just feeds it. Feeds it. Feeds it. Oh, [Applause] left it short. So worried about the speed he forgot to hit it. Surely uphill and from his right hand side. It’s a comfortable break. Ended up in the middle. Might have entered from the left side with a lot of pace. Tommy Fleetwood, Rory Mackoy, John Ram who’ve all played so well this week. all beaten in the Sunday singles as we see that one again. It tried its hardest. He likes to move it left to right. The wind is coming from the left. No right-handed player ever likes that. Oh, look at that. Just pure. There it is. Russell Henley. Mine’s in the fairway. How are you doing? [Applause] Come on. Let’s go. Oh, wow. Incredible pressure difficulty. Just a couple grains of sand and he comes up short. Keeps his footing. Incredible shot. Incredible contact. Wow. [Applause] Oh, Shane Lowry. What a response. And he’s going to get a read of the shot. Maybe the best shot of his life. Wow. With response. What composure from Shane. Just the Oh my goodness. Wow. Did not expect that at all. I I mean I really expect he was going to make that. Yeah. I mean, he’s so good. He did it. The 2019 Open champion stands tall and delivers for the European team who have retained the right. Wonderful stuff from Larry. He doesn’t know what to do with himself almost, does he? It’s the purest of celebrations, isn’t it? There’s nothing stage managed. To watch another RDER Cup video, click here and subscribe here.

  1. The better team won, no doubt, but these talking heads acting like the U.S. never had a real chance to win; if Henley makes that, there is a VERY real chance.
