Scottish golf star Robert MacIntyre shared a few examples of the heckles he received from American fans at the Ryder Cup last weekend.
MacIntyre, like the rest of Team Europe, was showered in abusive comments from the US fans at Bethpage Black on Long Island.
Three days after the Europeans retained the trophy, MacIntyre took to his Instagram account and revealed what had been said toward him – and in a way that will certainly silence his haters.
MacIntyre shared some of the ‘lowlights’ over video of him draining key putts in the tournament – all soundtracked to the Eurodance hit ‘Freed From Desire’ by Gala.
According to the video, American fans shouted insults like ‘Bobby Mac & Cheese’, ‘Eat another burger Bobby?’, ‘Milk bottle’, and ‘When you starting Ozempic’ at the Scot.
But MacIntyre had the last laugh – showing footage of him doing a trophy lift with the Ryder Cup after Europe’s domination.

MacIntyre did not let it affect him as Team Europe retained the cup at Bethpage Black
MacIntyre clearly didn’t let the jeering get to him as he pulled off a 1-1-1 record in his three matches in New York.
His partnership with Viktor Hovland was the only group to lose points in the Friday morning foursomes against the US team of Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay.
On Saturday morning, they remained teammates and came out victorious against Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley.
Finally, in his Sunday singles match, he halved his match against Sam Burns to be the point which secured a victory for the Europeans at the Ryder Cup.
While a successful outing, it wasn’t as good as his performance in Rome in 2023 – where he went 2-0-1.
At Marco Simone in Rome, MacIntyre halved his Friday fourball match, won his Saturday foursome, and beat Wyndham Clark in his Sunday singles event.
