what up what’s up we’ll just start off with some comments about po under your opening round uh how’d it go out there today it was good not a not a great start um I B my first two and was hitting it kind of everywhere but I think it was just cold and early and I kind of settled in um and started playing pretty good rolled the putter really good um so I was happy with that but it’s it’s getting difficult we had a we had about a nine hole stretch of no win which was very nice but it’s it’s starting to ramp up so it’ll be tricky this afternoon do you feel like your wave was the fortuitous wave this week uh it’s looking like it obviously everything could change you know uh weather is just a guess but the forecast is looking like yeah definitely so this morning it was very calm so that was helpful um and now it’s not so and I think it’s supposed to get worse and do you um kind of your second year on tour do you feel feel in any ways more comfortable kind of just as you go through courses and preparation and are there any like little just I guess in teeing it up and just working yeah definitely so Ian I showed up Tuesday night I flew in late because I just wanted a couple days off after the players um so I was comfortable with this course I played last year I wasn’t really worried about it just played the proam on played nine holes so um yes definitely a lot more comfortable seeing the courses for the second time um it’s nice not having to learn a whole course in one day so like last year you wouldn’t have wanted to do that you would have felt compelled to get here right especially this place the back nine I didn’t play The Back N in practice here this week um and not seeing that before would be a little tricky with with some of those t- shots um but now that I know what I’m supposed to do you know it was I felt confident doing that uh take me through the eagle uh yeah number one uh I think wind was kind of down off the left which is a good win for us we can cover that left bunker um so I hadit a nice drive up the middle and I had a six iron to the probably 25 ft or so just pin High left and and knocked it in once you once you got things going what what part of your game was working best I was putting very well I was hitting at you know okay shots and some really good ones but um for the most part I was just making the puts that I was supposed to make and then I made a couple that I wasn’t supposed to make what did you do at home for those two days side on the couch uh I was kind of sick on the weekend and at the Players so I kind of needed a reset needed to go home and relax a little bit and kind of get my system back recharged but yeah I just sat hung out for two days and then flew down did you watch any like shows or anything or were you just like feding uh no I I watched the playoff on Monday for the the players watch JJ and Rory um other than that now I went and saw my parents that was about it packed up Tuesday took my time and then what’s your Clemson prediction how far do you have them going I have them going to the 16 and that’s kind of embarrassing to say I should have them picked further but you know I I just is what it is I hope they hope they win the whole thing though uh you touched on it a little bit but what is the competitive advantage of having played in the morning and not having to deal with the wind this afternoon yeah this course is very demanding off the te um the fairways get pretty tight and the wind it seems like out here whatever way it blows is always sideways so the ball’s kind of getting blown One Direction or the other and um having no win we can kind of choose where we’re going to hit it and and hit those shots and then the afternoon it’s more of a guess Jacob it’s a pretty strong set of high threes of this this venue um you bird three of the four of them yeah which one was the most outstanding of those boties and you definitely eight um eight wind was blown pretty good I hit a seven wood on the par three so anytime you’re hitting wood into a par three it’s pretty good hole um and then I that was one of the putts I shouldn’t have made it it’s probably 30 ft or so and knocked it in what you how’d you make the power on the one that you made power on I don’t remember I know I made two good birdie putts uh I guess that would have been 13 yeah I just hit it a little bit long left and hit a nice chip nice putt yeah thank you yeah thank you all good thanks guys
