Thomas Higgins secured his second top-10 finish of the collegiate fall season as his Clemson team finished in third place at the Bryan Brothers Collegiate.

LSU won the tournament with a 35-under-par score while Charlotte finished second at 32-under-par The Tigers were third at 28-under-par with Higgins contributing a six-under total for 54 holes.

Higgins, now in his senior year, was the only Clemson player to have an under par round each day as he fired scores of 69, 68 and 70 to claim tenth spot on his own.

The Roscommon golfer has enjoyed an excellent 2025 season which included playing on the Ireland team at the European Team Championships in Killarney in July and he has continued that vein of form into his final season with Clemson.

“This was a solid tournament for us,” said Clemson Head Coach Jordan Byrd, who grew up in Columbia, SC.  “We are seeing some low scores and some bogey-free rounds.  We made another good step this week.  Lucas Augustsson had a great week after a slow start in the first round, but battled back to get a top 10.   Colin Salema had a career best 66 and that was terrific in the second round after he has gone through some swing changes.”
