KINGSLAND, Texas – The Concordia Texas women’s golf team earned a sixth-place finish at the Texas Legends Cup. Reese Trujillo led the charge as she tied for fifth overall in the two-day event at the Legends Golf Course.
Trujillo finished day one tied for seventh with an 81. Her 78 in round two marked her first collegiate sub-80 score as the junior tallied a team-high four birdies. Remme Trujillo (84-81-165) & Andrea Juarez (84-83-167) also posted strong scores as the duo placed 18th & 25th respectively.
Paige Zehner tied her career-best round on day two with an 84, improving by a team-best nine shots. Silvia Alejandra Martinez-Ibarra rounded out the scoring for CTX at 91-88-179 for 40th overall on the leaderboard.

Concordia Texas will next head to Westworth Village, Texas to compete in the UD Crusader Cup on October 13-14.
