If I go back to what Shane Syen said to me over the weekend, when I asked him what he saw in Daniel Jones, he said he saw a player who constantly was able to find completions. And when he was at his best, he was a master at that. So that’s number one. And that’s something they didn’t have with Anthony Richardson the last couple of years. And then number two, when he started to ask around, what he saw, what what what he kept hearing from people over and over and over again was this is a guy who has a tremendously high football IQ. If he can be what Alex Smith was for Kansas City after Alex Smith left San Francisco, went to Kansas City, if he can be what Alex Smith was for Kansas City, I mean, we could be talking about a guy who’s got a completely different reputation three or four years from now. So, I wouldn’t give up on Daniel

Cmon man
My favorite QB. I hope my Giants lose every game until Meatboll and his Buffalo crew are fired. Invest in Cessna.
Stranger things have happened. Geno Smith revived his career after being written off for several years.
All QBs drafted high have the talent to succeed. It’s up to them and the people around them to reach their own potential. Some want it more then others and some have better support then others
I wish Daniel Jones the most success. He is a fine young man. The media and fans drove him out of New York.
Sam Darnold 2.0?
“Incredibly high football IQ” is one of the laziest dog whistles in the game. May as well call him a “gritty gamer”.
I remember when Daboll first came to New York and he looked great. The giants signed him over saquon because all the idiots immediately changed their mind. The next year, defenses schemed properly to stop him, and he looked like utter dog shit. Give it time. The real teams will figure out how to stop him easily (qb spies and difficult to read coverage).
