LAKE FOREST, Ill., Sept. 30, 2025 – The University of South Florida men’s golf team finished 11th at the Windon Memorial Classic this week, shooting seven-under on the par-72, 7,202-yard Knollwood Golf Club course.

The Bulls were led by Wilhelm Ryding, who tied for 21st after rounds of 69, 71, and 73 to finish three under overall. Ryding’s consistent play kept him near the top of the leaderboard all three days, highlighted by his opening 3-under round.

Jackson Spybey was one stroke behind Ryding at two-under-par, tying for 30th overall. He opened the tournament with a 68 and finished strong with another under-par 69 in the final round.

Joshua Stewart also delivered steady play for the Bulls, finishing even-par (216). His two-under (70) in the final round provided a strong close to his three-day showing.

Nino Palmquist and Hugo Trommetter added key rounds across the lineup, contributing to the Bulls’ 11th-place team finish in a competitive national field.

The Windon Memorial Classic marked the second of five fall tournaments for USF, and after finishing 10th at the Bearcat Invitational to start the season and 11th at Knollwood Golf Club this week, the Bulls look to build on their consistent performances.

They turn their focus to the remainder of the fall schedule, beginning with the West Bay Collegiate, an individuals-only event Oct. 6-7 at West Bay Golf Club in Estero, Fla.

The USF men’s golf program has captured 19 conference titles and has seen players earn 19 All-America honors. The Bulls have won six American Athletic Conference Tournament championships in wire-to-wire fashion, winning four consecutive from 2015-18. The Bulls have had six individual conference champions, including Jake Peacock in both 2024 and 2025. They went to nine straight NCAA Regional appearances from 2013-2022, including a 6th place finish in NCAA Championship match-play in 2015. USF is led by Steve Bradley, who has been named American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year five times since taking over the program in 2014. The Bulls have posted 25 tournament wins under Bradley including three in the 2023-24 season, by far the most under any coach in program history.
