We did it. Day three of the RDER Cup is done. And wow, what a final day of golf at It was all about the singles matches, one-on-one battles, and from the start, it looked like team USA was going to mount a comeback for the ages. The board was bleeding all red. By the turning point, Shinlow drained a clutch part on hole 18 to tie his match against Russell Henley, securing the 14 points Europe needed to retain the cup. Moments later, Tyrell Hartton’s tie with Ken Morawa sealed it and team Europe were champions once again. Out of 12 singles played, six wins for the US, one win for Europe, and five ties. That gave team us eight and a half points on the day, tied for the most in modern Rder Cup history. But it just wasn’t enough to overcome the Europeans’s dominant first two days. Final score, Europe 15, USA 13. That’s now 27 RDER Cup wins for the US and 16 for Europe. And here’s the kicker. Europe has now won 11 of the last 15 RDER Cups and two of the last four on American soil. Intriguing, right? So, what do you think of the 45th RDER Cup? Did this live up to the hype?
