President Donald Trump responded on social media on Sunday night after top golfer Rory McIlroy and his European teammates taunted the president following their win in the 45th Ryder Cup.

The New York Post reported that the Euro players posted a playful video after defeating the U.S., taunting Trump by chanting, “Are you watching? Are you watching? Are you watching, Donald Trump?”

The victorious golfers held the Ryder Cup trophy aloft as they taunted the president.

Trump, a dedicated duffer who attended the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black on Long Island on Friday, took the hazing in stride.

“Yes, I’m watching,” the president wrote on Truth Social, where he reposted the McIllroy-led video. “Congratulations!”

The match featured a number of contentious encounters between McIlroy, the number two-ranked golfer in the world, and sometimes rowdy American fans.

McIlroy on Friday gave the middle finger to a group of fans as he walked away from the 11th hole.

McIlroy, from Northern Ireland, told fans to “shut the f—k up” while he was lining up a shot on the 16th hole during foursomes on Saturday.

The television broadcast also captured McIlroy telling a referee during his Saturday match that he’s “not going to putt until they shut up.”

McIlroy’s wife, Erica, was nearly hit when someone threw a beverage in her direction. The drink skimmed her hat.

McIlroy later ripped fans for their behavior during the Ryder Cup.

“I don’t think we should ever accept that in golf,” McIlroy said.

He said, “I think golf should be held to a higher standard than what was seen out there this week. Golf has the ability to unite people. Golf teaches you very good life lessons. It teaches you etiquette. It teaches you how to play by the rules. It teaches you how to respect people. Sometimes this week we didn’t see that.”
