MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after several golf carts were reported stolen over the past few weeks.

Deputies say at least six golf carts were stolen between Aug. 31 and Sept. 22 in the Hartsville area.

The thefts occurred at various locations, and each cart has distinct features:

Aug. 31: A Gold 2010 EZ GO Golf Cart was stolen from North Center Road.Sept. 5: A 2005 Club golf cart, white and blue in color, was also stolen from North Center Road.Sept. 8: A black and yellow EZ GO golf cart was taken, again from North Center Road.Sept. 10: A 1997 silver EZ GO golf cart, bearing a Carolina Panthers logo on the front, was stolen from Bel Aire Circle.Sept. 13: An EZ GO golf cart that’s white with black and garnet designs on the side and front, also embroidered Gamecock seats, was stolen from Hartsville Highway.Sept. 22: A 2005 white golf cart with a Clemson Tigers paint scheme was stolen from Bethlehem Road.

Anyone with any information related to these thefts is asked to contact the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office at 843-398-4501.
