Highlights | Day 3 | 2025 Ryder Cup

Good afternoon and welcome to the final day of the 45th RDER Cup. Trying to have the perfect touch, perfect lead on the first hole. Oh, he did. And he did it right in the middle. Man, he’s been in such a under control all week, man. He looks like the moment is just not too big for this guy. Just off the fairway flop up there. Oh, there it is. Let’s go back to one. In the meantime, Ben Griffin is taking on Rasmus Hoyot in our rookie showdown in match nine. But, you know, I don’t think that Ben Griffin, you know, obviously he’s had a phenomenal summer. Left to right at the third. A slow putt. You definitely don’t want to have to come backer down the hill. No come back from there. Henley likes to play a draw. Not a good hole location for Russell. This looks so good in the air. Oh, what a shot there by Russell Henley. Off it goes for Justin Rose 99 here. here at the ninth. One down in his match to Cam Young, but maybe not for long. Three Griffin, he has the ability to hit the ball very high. Lot of club head speed. Sean, you just have to pinch left hand. A lot of green to work with. Mroy plays a brilliant shot. Scoreable itself for Patrick Kentley who’s one down. Nice flat lies kind of in the swell there. Good angle. Should spin a bit. Does be a sure birdie for Klay. Come. Here it is. Follow God. Little higher shot than what Kantlay played. And response says good. Good. Let’s go to seven. Yep. And that’s the right thing to do there. Right. A location for a left to right player. This is a green light special right here. No wind to speak of anything. The right juices [Applause] down the hill. The green open. Hberg having missed. Having missed. That was right at him. Strong as a rock once more. Cat leg up to 11 down the left side. Ball looks to be sitting up for Tommy Fleetwood. Justin Thomas, beg you pardon. Fleetwood on the green. 30 ft away. 3 ft away for Justin Thomas. It’s tracking. It’s tracking dead center. Watching it. Watching it. Watching it. Flip in. Coming back to more normal state of play. What’s his Fitzpatrick got? [Music] He’s got an answer. The perfect answer. Up and over. Through the sand. That’s a goal shot. You’re telling me it’s a golf shot. That’s a shot of the day. No question. Back pin the wedge out. Ruff. Got to watch the spin. Oh wow. Perfect. Griffin across the 10th. Finds one. No mistake there. In fact, he’ll get the biggest draw. [Applause] Delicious. What a shot by Justin Rose. brought it in withdraw to the left hand pin back at the 12th. JJ Spawn second, staring it down with good reason. What a shot just off the back edge. Oh, what a shot. Boy, we know how swift this one is down the slope at 15. This for Birdie. Well, well, well. There you go. Between Ben Griffin and Arasmus Hygar. This is Griffin Birdie after a brutal miss on the last. He wants to make up for it and he does. The bomb there. What a punt. [Music] chance for we go to win the match. Oh, he’s got it. What a debut it has been for Cameron Young. And he does secure that first point for the United States. Fantastic match. Fantastic finish. He’s got it. He’s got it. This is unbelievable from the United States. Maybe the impossible is starting to become possible. Zad Chof we’re hearing has a couple of putts here to win his match against John Ram. That’ll not be another point to the United States. Can he work out the math to keep going? And that’s quite a scalp, isn’t it, for young Ludvig? And a much needed point for the Europeans. which he gets terrific fight back from under Shando and that means that Europe are now within half a point of retaining at 13 1/2 to 8 12 15 two down against Russell Henley big shot right there, [Music] which is exactly what he’s going to do. And that is another point to team USA as she beats Mroy and collects his first point of the 2025 Ryder Cup. Beautiful looking shot here on 16 pin right there. Just cos it down the hill. Slow down. There you go. Good. Well done. He’s another little bit like Young who has had an excellent debut. [Applause] Oh, Shane Lowry. What a response. And he’s going to get a read. Oh my goodness. He did it. The 2019 Open champion stands tall and delivers for the European team who have retained the wider cup. and they yarded a good goal, didn’t he? That’s that. It is another point for team USA. 1214 points to Ben Griffin in his cup career. and does but it means that Europe moved to 14 and a half points and it means that Europe have not only retained but they have won the RDER Cup on US soil here at Beth Paige Black. My word, what a struggle it was though. Walking off 15, [Applause] I’m afraid not for Sam Burns. So, that match is tied. And the final result of the 45th RDER Cup is Europe 15, the United States 13. 1. Fairplay the USA coming hard today, they had it all to do, but Europe hung tight when the squeeze began, brilliant, just hope they sort out the disrespect during a shot and personal jibes, British folk enjoy banter with anyone, but come with integrity or at minimum show some… 🍀 ☘️ 🍀 luck o the irish yeooo

  2. Lowry is the new Ian Poulter, a slightly above average pro who comes alive at the Ryder Cup and acts like a total ass hol#

  3. Please correct me nicely if im wrong , but i dont remember Wisconsin fans treating Europe golfers anywhere near this bad 4 years ago. Its shameful.

  4. CONGRATULATIONS to Europe Ryder Cup WINNERS 2025, in the USofA Back yard. : – )

Here is a Chant to match the U S A repetitive Garbage chant of the USA supporters………same rhythmn it goes, " BIG LOSERS, BIG LOSERS, BIG LOSERS!"

  5. Don't see why the American fans were so ill-tempered.
It's the Ryder Cup. The yanks should feel honoured to be Rydden. 🤣

  6. Justin Rose played another Blinder today, as did Fleetwood and Fitzpatrick…..but Lowry and Hatton Hung in there, to retain and WIN the Ryder Cup (again), for Europe. : – ).

  7. 'USA USA USA' Daft americans!! Worst fans in any sport they follow on the planet, they are— boring as hell!! Make no atmosphere, have no chants or songs except 'USA,USA,USA' or 'i believe that we will win' and most of all, disrespectful!! Absolutely the shittest fans on the planet (in any sport) stupid bastards think Europe's a country!! Uneducated, trigger happy retards, always have been, always will be

  8. Well done Europe, we don't need to wave flags, you've shown the world how united we are, as an Englishman I feel proud to be European

  9. Congratulations, it takes an entire continent to beat 1 country. The same country that provides all their sponsorships, technology, universities they played at, and millions they make 🤣😂

  10. Well done Europe, you absolutely deserve the WIN!
USA, you should be ashamed of yourselves, those fans are despicable and feral, the level of un-sportsmanship behaviour makes football hooligans look good, which is saying something. What a disgrace!

  11. Donald Trump on Truth Social:
The Europeans rigged the Ryder Cup. President Putin personally informed me of this disgrace, and Chairman Kim Jong Un has now confirmed it. Pam Bondi will be instructed to take immediate legal action against Luke Donald. Every member of the European team will have their visas revoked without delay and will be permanently banned from entering the United States.

In addition, new tariffs of 500% will be imposed on Europe. American companies will be required to cancel all endorsement deals with European golfers.

The CIA will further investigate all European players for possible tax fraud and suspected involvement in fentanyl trafficking. All golf bags will be seized.

Sleepy Joe Biden, the Radical Left, and Antifa also played a major role in this national disgrace. Therefore, the Ryder Cup will immediately be renamed the Big Beautiful America Is the Greatest Cup.

Had I been captain of the American team, the USA would have won by 1,000%.

  12. Day 3 was a perfect encapsulation of the two sides – Americans play better in singles/individual play, the Europeans play better in team formats

  13. Well done. The heckling isn’t needed. When are people gonna wake up. U cheer for good and bad shots period! thats all US the needs to win on home dirt. The US players hear that bullshite too.

  14. classless crowd, bunch of hecklers degenerates, happy that europeans won
usa team played the best today, so many amazing moments, such a great play
it's a shame that the crowd was so low level, unwelcoming for the guests

  15. As an Aussie I have no dog in this fight but after watching 5 minutes of Day 1 I turned the TV sound off. Bemused. After 10 minutes I turned the TV off and felt sad. Screaming and whistling WHILE the Europeans were hitting their shots? I thought even the great unwashed had parents??

  16. As always the Europeans stayed classy…well done guys, it’s obvious how you love to play together. Looking forward to Ireland already. 🙂
