Paige Spiranac showed some serious class while watching the Ryder Cup on NBC on Sunday afternoon.
Spiranac, one of the most popular influencers in all of golf, has been watching the 2025 Ryder Cup all weekend long. The former collegiate golfer, who played collegiately at the University of Arizona and San Diego State, has been watching the United States struggle like the rest of us. Team USA was trailing Team Europe, 11.5-4.5, before the singles matches began on Sunday afternoon. It was 12-5, Europe, before the first players teed off, too, as Viktor Hovland’s injury prompted 0.5 points for each side.

While Spiranac, who grew up in Colorado, is obviously rooting for the United States, she showed her true character with a classy admission on the European squad this weekend, too.

The popular golf influencer showed some class, admitting that while she’s rooting for the United States, she can appreciate how well Europe is playing.
“I mean go USA and all but honestly this European team has truly been special to watch. The level of play has been outstanding!” she wrote.

It’s a classy move from Spiranac, while many U.S.A. fans have been criticized for classless behavior at Bethpage Black
While Spiranac is classily praising Europe for its team play, others attending the Ryder Cup on Long Island have been ripped for their classless behavior. Derogatory chants and despicable remarks have been made in the direction of Europe’s players, with Rory McIlroy being on the receiving end of a lot of them.
“When you play away Ryder Cup, it’s really, really challenging,” McIlroy told NBC after his Saturday round, per CBS Sports. “You know, it’s not for me to say. People can be their own judge of whether they took it too far or not. You know, I’m just proud of us for being able to win today with what we had to go through.”

Spiranac, meanwhile, admitted that she likes the back and forth between the players and fans – as long as it doesn’t go too far.
“Hot take for golf but I like when the golfers show some sass in competitive settings like this. The crowd is saying whatever they want to them so the players can banter back if they want,” she wrote on X.
The finish to the 2025 Ryder Cup is airing live on NBC on Sunday afternoon. Team USA needs a miraculous comeback in order to have a chance at winning.
