GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Temple University men’s golf team travels to North Carolina for the first of four events during the 2025-26 season, as it takes part in the Ironwood Collegiate Classic. Due to the tropical storm forecast for Tuesday, the first round of the tournament will be played on Sunday, Sept. 28, beginning at 2:00 p.m., with the final 36 holes scheduled for Tuesday.

ABOUT THE OWLS
The Owls hosted the Temple Invitational on Sept. 22-23, and all 13 varsity student-athletes competed in the event.
Jun was the top finisher for the team in his first event at Temple, shooting 214 and finishing in a tie for eighth place.
During the final round, Tomé put together the best round by an Owl with a two-over par 70.
As a team, Temple’s Cherry Team finished the 13-team event third in par-5 scoring at 4.69.
Last year at the Ironwood Collegiate Classic, Temple broke a school record with a final-round, 14-under par 274.
Recent graduate Ethan Whitney was the catalyst, firing a seven-under par 65 which tied a school record.
Emmerich also had a stellar round three, carding a four-under par 68.
ABOUT THE FIELD
In addition to the Owls, Appalachian State, Barton, UCF, ECU, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State, Jacksonville, LIU, Longwood, UMES, Old Dominion, Presbyterian, Queens, and West Georgia are scheduled to compete.
