Another Trump family member is stepping up their game in the business world.

Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump’s eldest daughter, Kai, 18, just dropped a merchandise line — and it’s quite expensive. The high school senior launched her own website of sweatshirts with her initial logo, “KT,” across the chest and her name on the right sleeve, at a cost of $130.

She wrote on the site, “This collection is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here. Launching this line has been such an exciting project. From the quality of the fabric to the details in the designs, I wanted to create a piece that isn’t just merch but a staple you can wear anywhere. There are Clean pieces you can mix, match, and make your own. I can’t wait to see how you style them!”

President Donald Trump and first Lady Melania Trump participate in an event on the South Lawn of the White House on July 04, 2020 in Washington, DC. President Trump is hosting a "Salute to America" celebration that includes flyovers by military aircraft and a large fireworks display.

The launch was timed to the Ryder Cup in New York on Sept. 26, a golf event she attended with her grandfather, President Donald Trump. Kai is headed to the University of Miami next fall on a golf scholarship, so it’s a way to cement her brand ahead of that next career milestone.

Gen Z finance expert Taylor Price thinks the teen made a savvy money move.

“I do think this could be the beginning of more ventures. We’ve seen a clear pattern of Gen Z leaning into the creator economy, where merch often acts as the first step in building a personal brand,” she told The Telegraph. “With higher margins on clothing, a large portion of that could be profit if managed efficiently. If her line gains traction, the potential climbs into the millions.”

Of course, the merch launch isn’t without controversy. Kai is being accused of using “the White House for promotional gain,” according to The Daily Beast. She used her grandfather’s Washington, D.C., residence as a backdrop for her clothing line photoshoot. Other critics are calling the teen out for copying Travis Kelce’s initials logo. Kai hasn’t responded to any of the issues and likely will ignore the noise.

The Daily Beast also noted that Kris has already “earned a million dollars through multiple golf-related endorsements and sponsorship deals,” so the merchandise line might just be a drop in the bucket — her fortune is already stacking up.
