The 2025 Ryder Cup is the 45th edition and runs between September 25 – September 28. Luke Donald is the European Team Captain and Keegan Bradley is the U.S. Team Captain. The European Team are the reigning champion after winning 16 ½ – 11 ½ at Marco Simone in 2023. Every two years, 24 of the best players from Europe and the United States go head-to-head in match play competition. Drama, tension, incredible golf, camaraderie and sportsmanship are served in equal measure, captivating an audience of millions around the world. It’s an event that transcends sport, yet remains true to the spirit of its founder, Samuel Ryder.

Seb, let’s start with you. Your first Rder Cup away from home. Your first Rder Cup fourball. You’ve beaten the world number one on the US Open champion alongside the legend that is John Ram. Just describe that experience for us. It was it was a lot of fun. Uh a lot of fun to have John today was uh was great because I did not have my game uh especially for the first uh first little bit, but he uh he kept reminding me that it’s there. Just keep keep pushing. And then uh told me to to just put a confident swing on the last hole and I did. And yeah, thanks to thanks to him, we were still in the match. John, two wins for you today. Seven wins and two halves in your last nine Ryder Cup pairs matches. You haven’t lost since 2018. What is it about Ryder Cup that brings the best out of John Rum. I I can’t take all the credit. Uh I’ve had really good partners. Um I did lose in 2021 versus Scotty Sheffller in the singles. Uh I said in pairs. Oh, in pairs. Sorry. Sorry. Uh it’s yeah I I I can’t take the credit all of it. I mean Tero’s been a fantastic partner right and uh having uh having Nikolai as well on the front line in Rome was incredible. Se has done his thing. We we can’t do this alone.
