That’s a nice start. I mean, pretty good return right out of the gate, but counting the love these two have for one another as as tennis players. They’re going to enjoy the wall to-wall spectators. It’s not just his serve. His partner is very solid up at the net. It’s not coming back. That’s how he plays his tennis, Ben Chelton. If you haven’t seen too much the game, got electronic line calling. We’ve got the video review system in place as well. Should we get any uh where before this game started went over to run it to say do should we do signals and he I’m just shuffling over to the doubles as well. Yeah. Yeah. Just missed the volley. Producing some good stuff already. There we go. Immediate break. [Applause] Shelton and Towns end. [Applause] I mean to be honest, we do expect this team to make the semifinals. This over did well there. Chances for the fourth seeds now. That’s good hitting off the ground as well. A tie break at four a piece. Should we get that far? [Applause] And again, Roa in the right place and recovery. Live 3D views of all singles matches. That’s available on the app store. What a point. Great hands to stay in the rally for so long. Really doesn’t want to fall behind. Love 30. Annis M. Great backhand. That serve is there’s the hand signals Jimmy was referring to earlier in the match. That’s the the more regular way, the more normal way the doubles players communicate 15 before each point is played. It’s a high formation that is throwing in at 1530 to only hit a 95 mph serve. He better come up with a big serve here. 120. More heat on that one. An hour if he wants to just bang it flat. Combining nicely, including on this court today. Oh, unbelievable reaction. I think I would bring Anna Samova back to the baseline. That’s a tough volley when you’re that far away from the net. Leave her back and I’m trying to do some damage up in the net because right now it’s hard for him to hold serve. Yeah. Yeah. TS in with the hand skills. Yes. There’s such a difference again. First one saved. Trying to get a little more aggressive with his first serve as well. So that is the first set wrapped up. Saw the two-0 lead disappear but straight back to business with a Shelton hold and a break. And that’s the first set done. 4-2 incidentally as well, but a million check for a million handed out tomorrow evening inside Alash Stadium 151. First 10,00 period actually, hasn’t he? Last few weeks. Good run of win just to get that type of match out of his system and take a little pressure. Yes, he’s made it. That’s some forehand. Sorry. Winning Toronto semi-final with Cincy. That would be maybe too much pressure. Oh, look at this. He doesn’t hit a serve that’s a little rough and there is a break of serve. Interesting that serving first is Anna Samova. That’s a good move from Muna. That player Anna Simone doesn’t make her presence felt when Run is serving at all. So this is the stronger serving part of this team because it was some defense perhaps. Yes. So, the Americans back in this game deciding point now. [Music] It’s a good move. And that’s breakpoint converted. Oh, no way. No way has he made that. [Applause] It’s all happening. Goodness me. [Applause] Oh, he’s done it again. This is ridiculous. What a game this is. [Applause] [Applause] 135 for the returners. Anna Samova is trying to make herself look small. She’s getting into the double alley when she can. Stunned comes to life. Rising to the occasion. Let’s see how Rooney gets on now. He’s yet to hold serve. He can indeed. and he’s over two games on keeps this just wide almost made it big Alcarez in the Barcelona final on play in the spring. Uhoh. Give me a serve here. Let’s get out of this game. There we go. 120 on the speed gun. Just a fraction wide. He has some instincts. Runa up at the net. Yes. Trying to make something happen, isn’t it? Single draws made on Thursday this week. That’s the official tournament website. usopen.org. [Music] [Applause] These two produce if it goes to a deciding point just a fraction beyond the baseline. So this survives of course they’ll be telling themselves that these matches can turn around very quickly with this format. We see that make the difference in in this format. You play a tie break to decide the match. [Applause] Yeah, same spot upper T. Americans forehand. Good service game and a lot of practice sessions underway featuring feature many of the stars of the sport very well. [Applause] Oh, just missed. [Applause] stuck with a second serve. Fancied it. [Applause] Yeah. And that’s no disrespect to obviously the Oh, well done. Good anticipation. Covered the center of the court beautifully. The final in the same session. serving well 10. Yeah. See how that works out. I think Sh staying on the side he’s not [Applause] produced some really good tennis. You know whose fault it is. Just a fairly swift breaker so far. Still under five minutes in duration again. Rock solid from T. And there we go. Victory for Tanzand and Shelton. Finished in style. Taylor Tanzan played a superb breaker to wrap up that match. The wild cards take out the fourth seeds into the quarterfinals. They’ll be back on this court a little later this afternoon. That was good fun. through in straight. Popular winners inside the Louis Armstrong Stadium. 4254 [Applause]

Taylor loves cheeseburgers
Empty seats at French Open and Wimbledon for matches featuring the very best men's and women's players but packed house at the US Open for mixed doubles!
The scoring is so different here. Interesting. I can see why Taylor is the number 1 doubles player in the world right now. Amazing stuff from her. I love watching her and Ben play together. This was a lot of fun.
Amanda is a great singles player but didn't look comfy out there for dubs.
The serve @3:19 was OUT.
Chunk-ette at the net woooooh!
Taylor's been in the game a long time. She's #1 for all the right reasons in doubles. She & Shelton were magnificent throughout this match. They are definitely making boss moves as a dynamic duo. Bravo & congrats, Taylor & Shelton! Well done!
Great match. Like the shorter format. Arias is right that Anisimova is stronger from the baseline, Rune at the net.
So Anisimova/Rune seeded 4 while a specialist like TT paired with Shelton (in this moment higher than Rune, and ranked in double) isn't? Nonsense…
Please repent for Jesus Christ is Lord
Why are the sets so short
Absolute pantomine
