Perfect Club Path (Golf Swing Slow Motion Iron)

  1. The reconnecting of the elbow to trail hip in the downswing—accomplished with side bend—makes club path the rest of the way down into the ball a no brainer providing the golfer does not let the huge VELOCITY^2 increase in kinetic energy in the club head as it whips around the hands pull them on their toes.

I worked for several years as a starter on the first tee at a public course and would sit and watch golfers of all skill levels, watching their spine angles and how well they stayed balanced over their feet. I realized that when there is ANY loss of balance in a golf swing the SUBCONSCIOUS part the brain that has been keeping off our asses since age one kicks in and tries to solve the balance problem by trying to STEER THE FACE BACK TO SQUARE WITH TARGET LINE AT IMPACT which if there is a loss of balance onto the toes o will push the club head out past the ball resulting in an outside-in path + open to path SLICE with the golf — who didn’t CONSCIOUSLY feel any loss of balance until the finish clueless about why the SLICE happens.

It made me realize how valuable it is to have an external observer swing coach or a video camera to check balance.
