If you are reading this, I hope you have a good day and GBR! 🙂

Not only is college football back, but high school is as well. In Nebraska, commits have been balling out, setting records, and been putting the world on notice. So, in today’s video, we’re going to go over all of them. Trey Taylor is looking like a completely different player. We’ll talk about how he’s doing, his statistics, what he needs to continue to improve, and whether or not he’s getting his fifth star status around guys like Tory Pitman, a Nebraska running back commit, who’s surprising everybody. A couple studs, a couple guys we need to see more from. and so much more. So, really quick, this is a massive recruiting update looking at all our commits. Hit that like button if you’re fired up or if you’re just having a good day, hit that like button. And also, if you’re a diehard Nebraska fan and you’re not subscribed, what are you waiting for for Daily K talking your favorite talking Huskers? It’s a no-brainer. Takes two seconds. Hit that subscribe button. Thank you so much. But without further ado, we have a lot to talk about. Going over every single Nebraska commit, how they’re performing so far in their high school football season, who’s playing well, who need to continue to improve, and so much more. But I want to get things started off with our guy, in my opinion, five-star quarterback Trey Taylor. He’s been per quote on a different level so far in 2025. Now, he’s took his high school to a three in one record so far. He’s shown a lot of improvement, not only with himself, but his entire squad is getting better. And that’s my favorite part about Trey Taylor. He’s not a sellout. You see a lot of times with these quarterbacks, you know, even even Dylan Rialer, right? And I’m not going to throw a shot to Dylan, but Dylan transferred three times when he was in high school. He’s always trying to f find the better squad. Trey Taylor’s loyal. He could have went to one of the better teams in in Chicago or around Illinois, but he stayed with Caramel Catholic and he’s making them better. That’s the same thing TJ Latif did. TJ Latif, you know, stayed with Orange Lutheran his entire career. He could have went to Modern Day. He could have went to Sierra Canyon, but he stuck around and made them winners. And Trey Taylor’s doing the exact same thing. So, that’s my favorite part about Trey Taylor is his team’s now winning because he’s getting better along with the rest of them. But talking about him specifically, he’s been on a different planet. So far this year, he has around 800 yards passing, a completion percentage of 80%, 12 touchdowns, and only one interception on the year. And that looking at the interception, it was pretty much a fluke. It doesn’t routinely happen. So, you know, talking about him more specifically, not looking just at the stats, his accuracy has been very much improved. His progressions have been so elite to the point where I’ve never seen this from a a 16-year-old, right? He’s going to go one, two, three, find the open man. Again, you saw the dual threat ability in that clip just now. You can get outside the pocket and make plays. He can extend plays. You see the arm strength. He had a nice 50 50 yard ball the other day in week three. Again, he’s checking all these boxes and he’s a pure winner at heart. So, I’ve been very much impressed with Trey Taylor. I I’m excited to see his legs more. Again, you see this right here. Look at Look at Look at that burst. Look at that burst. I mean, we talk about his arm all day long and he’s so talented there, but he does have some legit legs. Like, he he’s one of one. He is an elite prospect. We haven’t had a guy like him as complete as him in a very long time with somebody who is pinpoint with his accuracy, but also runs about a 4640 time. So, Trey Taylor has been doing really, really good. But I told you guys this, in order for him to get his official fifth star, he got to win this year. He’s just got to win. He’s winning right now, but hopefully he can lead his team to a state title. But I’ve been very impressed with Trey Taylor. And then talking about Tory Pitman, my guy coming out of Omaha Central. I’ve watched a lot of Tory Pitman games this year. Excited to see what he can do, continue to improve. Now, he went viral on social media the other day because some some people, some high schoolers that went to Westside were kind of throwing shots at him because he didn’t have the best game against Omaha North. to give a couple touchdowns. My thing around, you know, Tory Pman is that again, he’s a very raw prospect. I mean, if you watch him, you say that instantly. Like, he’s not laying the boom on everybody every single hit. You know, he’s not super developed right now in pass coverage. But the reason why he’s a five-star is because, and I can say this because I’ve covered high school football in this in the state for about a decade at this point, for a very long time, since I was a freshman high school. I can say this on Tory Pitman. He is one of the most athletic prospects I’ve ever seen and he has as high as a potential as anybody I’ve ever seen, right? Let alone in Nebraska. So, he’s I not say not to act like he’s having a bad season so far. He’s he’s playing very well, particularly at safety. His zone coverage has been very much improvement last year. His run instincts have been very good. You know, just his angles, right? Pursuit angles, his tackling. So, he’s improving. Is he is he raw? Sure he is. But, I mean, to people saying he shouldn’t be a fivestar, you’re crazy. Okay. You got to look deeper than that. You got to look at the athleticism. Tory Pimman is somebody who’s a completely he’s a hard worker. He’s a good kid and he’s somebody who’s going to be a stud for Nebraska on day one and he’s had a great year. So I don’t want I know maybe some of you guys have seen that. No, Tory Pim is going to be a really really good player for Nebraska and he’s had a good season. Okay. Yeah, he didn’t play the best against Omaha North. It is what it is. Bad games happen. He’s played very well in the other three games for his um Omaha Central Eagles. And then talking about Nebraska’s other commits, let’s go to the class of 26. I’ve been very impressed with Jamar Ro so so far. Now, he had a injury very early on in the season. It was a lower body injury. He got back from that and he’s played on a different level. Okay, last Friday night he ran for 300 yards on the ground, over 10 yards a carry, two touchdowns. And really what I’ve been impressed when it comes to Jamal Ro, as you can see on this clip, he is so much better after contact than than what I’ve seen, you know, going into last year, right? He he’ll hit two or three guys, stay up, break tackles, great agility, can still make and miss, but again, he is that bruiser. He is that Gabe Irvin that I compared him to. He’s also pretty versatile in the passing game, right? They’re utilizing him more and more. He can block. So, I mean, and there you see the speed right there with Jamal. I’ve been very impressed. So, is Jamal Ro going to be like a day one contributor? I don’t know yet. It’s still tough to say. It’s very hard to buy at running backs, but at the very least when it comes to him, he’s going to be a really good short yardage back from Nebraska. somebody who can be a bully inside the pocket, push the pile a little bit and get a couple yards for the Huskers. But I think he could be a very good running back for Nebraska. And he’s a hard worker. Really hard worker. You’re not going to find a better kid than Jamal Ro. He comes from a great family, a hardworking family, and he’s a great individual himself having a great high school football season. Going to Nebraska’s wide receivers, Larry Miles having a really good year. Once again, we don’t have specific stats for him. His team hasn’t posted it, but he had a couple he had three touchdowns in his first game of the year. Had a couple touchdowns last week. I mean, I’ve been very impressed with Larry Miles from an athleticism standpoint. He’s not the fastest guy in the world. He’s not super tall, but his route running is solid, and he just knows how to be productive, right? We can sit here and talk about athleticism all the time and upside. We’ve seen a lot of Nebraska recruits who have all that, all those boxes checked, but for whatever reason on game day, they don’t actually show up. Larry Miles might not, you know, be a freak specimen, but man oh man, can he make plays? I’d rather have him than somebody who has all the boxer check but actually doesn’t show up. Right. So, I’d rather I’ I’d rather have a Larry Miles than like a Xavier Betts for example. Right. Larry Miles has done a really really good job so far this year. Non Scott, unfortunate news, has not played this season. I’m not sure what it is. Probably an injury, but he’s not played at all this year. So, again, he probably won’t play his entire senior year of high school and he’ll come to Nebraska fresh and ready to go uh in January. Luke Sorson having a really good campaign coming out of Anaheim, California. I’ll show you some of these clips that he posted on Twitter. He had a rushing touchdown and receiving touchdown the other day. Hold on, I’ll play this right here. Yeah. So, they’re they’re utilizing him in different aspects at fullback. They’re getting them open there. Look at that height point. So, again, Luke Sa is somebody I’m very high on. He’s a great route runner. He’s huge and he’s about 250 pounds. That’s the big issue with tight ends. It’s not how athletic they are. It’s how quickly can you put on weight because most tight ends they they’re not they’re very skinny in high school. Like they’re 220, 210. He’s going to be ready to go the second he gets to Nebraska. So, I think he could be in the mix to play as a true freshman. Actually, I I don’t think that I know that. And with his blocking ability, he’s going to be a dog. And then, you know, talking about Hey Nworth as well. Hey, Ninssworth’s had a really good year. That’s been probably my favorite offensive line commit in this class for Nebraska. He was going up against a five-star coming out of Mississippi a couple weeks ago and he dominated him. Just downed him with the pancakes in the running game and the pass pro. He plays guard. He plays tackle. He’s so versatile. He’s a hard worker. Yeah. Hey Nsworth is gonna be a really good player. You see the pancake right there on some of Mississippi’s best talents. So really excited for Hey Nworth, but again he’s playing every single position on his team. Looking really, really good. And then a couple other guys I want to get to. Danny Odum has been very impressive. I mean you just go to this was a post by Tim Vis last Friday in his high school game. He had two interceptions playing against the best town of Florida. You see that that’s a tough ball they go and pick off, right? That’s not that’s not a jump ball. He goes and makes an adjustment, sees the eyes of the quarterback, goes and gets it. Okay, he’s one of the stickiest man coverage corners in the game. You go to a second one right here. Pressure coming off the quarterback, just lobs it up. Danny says, “You know what? I’m coming down with that.” Jump ball. Say, “Hey, you know what? I can play receiver, too.” And he does have a track record of playing receiver. So, Danny ODM, this confirms we already knew about him. He’s a great pound-for-pound press cover type of guy. He’s a great man coverage type of guy. Uh, he’s dominating. He’s love competition. not only him but Devin Jackson as well, his teammate who shut down his commitment, right? Shut down his recruitment. He’s gonna stick with Oregon, but he’s bought out too. So maybe Nebraska flipped him last second. I don’t know. I’m not I’m not going to speculate in this video, but Danny ODM having a really good year. And then last but not least, Jace Reynolds is playing well on his season. He has around 25 tackles, six TFLs, and four sacks for Elcore North. I watched him play in one game this season. So I mean, I’ve been kind of impressed with Jason Reynolds. He’s he’s tackling at a way higher level than what he did as a junior. His his zone instincts look a lot better. He’s more of a middle linebacker than anything, I would say. Uh but it doesn’t really change my opinion on Jace. Like I it’s very clear to me what the plan is. Like he’s a very high upside low floor type of guy where with Jace, it’s either going to be he’s a contributor maybe in year four or year three or he just never plays. Like that’s kind of the thing. He’s he’s not going to play right away. It’s going to take time. Uh he needs to absolutely put on weight. He’s very skinny right now. But I again I’m impressed. Again, he does have that athletic upside, though. Again, he’s a freak athlete. He really is. Right. So, I’m impressed with Jason Reynolds. He’s been putting up some stats, but it’s going to take some time for him to develop. That’s for sure. So, those are pretty much all Nebraska’s commits. I mean, going over some players I missed. We talked about everybody, I think, except for some offensive linemen. And offensive line, it’s hard to gauge. Leon’s had a good year from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard from him. Um, we have Rex Waterman. Haven’t heard anything. I’m not going to be honest with you. Rex Waterman, Cla Puma, I’ve heard some stuff. Claude’s again such a specimen, but I told you guys he’s very raw. It’s going to take time for Claude. Uh again, highest upside of any offensive line we’ve seen in a while, but it’s going to take time. He’s not going to play year one or year two probably, but he’s had a decent year. I just want to say that. So, all right guys, let me your thoughts down below. Let me know what players you’re excited to see in Lincoln. I know I’m excited to see a bunch of them. Hey, if you made it this far, hit that like button and subscribe. As always folks, go to grad my role and I’ll see you in the next

  1. Our offensive and defensive lines are horrible. They get payed now and they are trash. They need to give the money back.

  2. In order to succeed at college level they have to be able to do the little things right flashy film and stats don’t matter if they can’t do the little things right flashy
