First Tee Walk Out for Saturday Foursomes! | 2025 Ryder Cup

and they will be up against Bob McIntyre and Victor Hogland [Music] [Applause] as our players make their way down. I’m Ali Whitaker. I’m joining commentary by two men with combined 11 Ryder Cup appearances and a captaincy no less in Hunter Mayhem and Sam Torrance. Sam, to you first. How surprised were you to see the pairings that have been put out from the US side for this morning? Yeah, there was a couple of names there I didn’t expect to see out again who seemed to struggle yesterday. Not quite long enough performance I thought with his partner who got a lot further than him. So, it was a little unfamiliar for them, but the other three were fabulous matches. Looks great. It’s shaping up nicely. Paul McInley said that Da is a guide, not a rule hunter. How do how do these pairings read to you? you know, are they trusting the numbers or are they they doubling down on it? Bit more of a gut feeling. Yep. Um, a little strange enough to have Sam Burns the best pedaler as a PJ tour in this force situation as far as he hits it as well. The course is long yesterday morning. I mean, it was really, really long. So, um, some of the shorter hitters for the US side seem to struggle with that. If you got a position, the European guys were really dominant down there. Even if it was in the rough, that was still just a really big advantage. So, Um, I think the European side is excited about these pairings and in their matchups. Whereas for team Europe, it read as if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And their dominance in the foroms reaches all the way back to the start of Rome. Really, if not even further. There’s Captain Luke Donald. The team saw Kean Bradley earlier. Jim Furick in the background. Everyone’s here to see their men out. USA and Fitz Patrick were magnificent yesterday. Great to see them again. Couple of Europeans out there in the uh the crowd doing their best to be loud. [Applause] There is nothing quite like the first team at the Ryder Cup. What does the day hold? Will it be same same or different? His redemption on the way for team USA. [Applause] Brown sweaters. [Music] Wonderful shot there over the first and 18. What will come today? And there is the US pairing dashboard out first once more, but he’s 0 and2 in his first two appearances. Hunter, how important will it be for the US to see their big players step up out there today given both he and Scotty Sheffler came up 0 through four in day one? Well, the fact that they’re going to probably both play five matches, I mean, it’s it’s sort of a disaster, right? Like it’s they’re not equal to everyone else on the team if they’re only if everyone else is playing three, um, they’re going to have to really bring it. And that’s what we saw yesterday was the European side, their studs played like studs and they made the big shots when they needed to make them. Promwood and Macroy were just spectacular, right? They didn’t move yesterday. You know, they only they only have they’re always skating uh more points and more points for their side. And so the US needs the Shambo and Sher to step up today and basically both go uh two and0 to kind of get back into this RE cup and get the crowd being involved cuz they are they are not involved in this at all right now. Having silence yesterday Sam just saw Luke Luke Donald there. What kind of conversations would he have had given your your captaincy yourself after a day like they had yesterday? Lots of products. Well done, guys. You are magnificent. Same again tomorrow. We’ve got a job to do. It’s not good. Keep going, boys. And it’s even more important to push harder this morning than yesterday. We must maintain that lead and extend it as far as we can. A lot of captains. Luke Donald himself has mentioned it. He was a forceome specialist. Let’s not forget he went 62 and0 in this format. He knows it intimately and perhaps that knowledge paying off as well given that how well he’s captain his side in this format and talks about trying to win every session. Here are the USA boys. [Applause] Shakes’s over. The gloves are off. Let’s go. [Applause] Well, Cameron Young was brilliant in the afternoon. I mean, he was like, he was he was really really impressive. probably the best US player yesterday. So, makes total sense for him and Bryson to get out there early. I mean, you hate to start talking about must wins, but this is a match to I mean, these boys are out there with a real reason and a purpose. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] A new song. It’s cool. I like it. We go. We’re down and waiting. And we are just moments away from the 7:10 a.m. tea time here in New York. Let’s throw it down to the first te to the starter PJ Hall of Fame member Susie Whe. Ladies and gentlemen, your attention please. Good morning and welcome to the second day of the 45th RDER Cup. This is match number one. A for some match between the European team represented by Matt Fitzpatrick and Luke Big Oair against the United States of America team represented by Bryson D. 1. You work for 42yrs to have $2m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $20k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

  2. The American supporters are so crass and classless, it like watching retarded school children that have been let loose without a teacher to control them. No wonder the European golf players are laughing in their faces as they humiliate the US yet again!!!

  3. Americans once again proving to the world what a country …. my apologies, it's not a country it's a land mass on this beautiful planet devoid of class culture and hertiage. An asylum full of unhinged lunatics.

  5. 6. Quelle honte, ce manque d'esprit sportif venant du pays hôte. On n'a jamais vu ça quand c'est l'Europe qui accueille. Vraiment de gros "beaufs" grossiers et vulgaires ces américains.

  7. Will someone please tell me why it's Henley, who looked like a deer in the headlights yesterday, is playing over Justin Thomas and / or Burns? C'mon Keegan!

  8. If I was Rory I would win today. And then not play in the Ryder Cup again.
Golf is a game for gentlemen….
The USA crowd as just Tossers.
It’s now just a naff circus.

  9. It’s time to make the Ryder Cup fairer by making it Europe V USA and the Rest of the World

  10. Why does America struggle so much with sports chants and cheers? It feels like there's a lack of respect for the tradition and energy that makes games exciting. Other countries know how to rally behind their teams with passion
