They Put a DISC GOLF Course on a Ski Resort! [It Was Intense]

Today we’re playing a disc golf course as extreme as it gets. And it all starts 750 ft up that mountain at hole one. This is Arapaho Basin. A basin as I’ve heard it called before. A crazy drive to get in here over Loveland Pass. You go straight up to 12,000 ft and then right back down. And we’re right now starting at 10,000 something ft of elevation. Higher than I’ve ever played disc golf before. This course is up and down the Arapaho Basin Ski Resort. A 20hole course free to play, which is pretty surprising up here in the mountains of Colorado. And we’re doing three course quest videos today as I’m filming. They’ll come out over the course of the next week and a half or so. Trying to hit three of the most intense mountain courses in the same day because it’s getting to the end of the season. The aspens are starting to turn. These courses are going to start getting snow soon. I’m going to make the hike up and I’ll tell you a little bit more about the series and the goals for today as I’m filming these three videos. Does look like we have our practice basket right here and I think that’s hole 18. We still have 500 ft from the teapad. And what goes up must come down. This series course quest is me trying to play all of the mountain courses within a 75 mile radius from Denver as well as all the Denver local courses before I move from Denver in December. I’ve taken two wrong turns so far and trying to hike up the whole one. But the mountain courses are going to be closing and I have a good few left. In this series, I give a core scorecard for cost, amenities, accessibility, if there’s an X factor. The answer here is yes, and shot shaping, which is going to be tricky at probably starting at 10,500 ft elevation. I also rank the courses just by my UI disc rating, whatever I can shoot at them. And this is the current leaderboard. And if I can’t shoot 250 rated, I put a disc from this bag or a custom disc in the bounty bin, which people can win by coming to a course and beating my score. I got the first submission to the bounty bin from actually a tournament, which obviously there are other people on the card, but I know not everyone will be able to come to these courses and play them. So, over the course of these next three course quest videos, if I can’t shoot at least 27 underpar nine holes a course, I’ll do a giveaway on Instagram for two people to win a disc from the bounty bin. Luckily, this course has 20 holes, one of the others has 27, and the last one, apparently even par, is 215 rated on your disc. So, that course is going to be tough. We got hole one here, though. 198 ft. I’m going to catch my breath. We’re getting right into it. Aaho basin. Beautiful place. Hopefully some stellar shots. Hole one’s only 198 ft up and to the right. But I think for the first 16 holes, maybe we play up and then there’s two or three holes to throw back down. But there’s a festival cuz I’m here on a Saturday. Busiest day of the summer season. I can’t believe this place is free. It is popping. And they’re probably going to get my money on some food after this video. So maybe it makes sense that it’s free. I have a couple bag changes that I’ll talk about if I use them. And for the Acer hole, I brought some extra special discs. This will not be it. It actually looks like there’s a flexi app. Just going to try to keep it on the high side with my tomb. Literally first shot out the car, but the leg should be warm from that hike. Oh no. Hit something. Well, it didn’t roll away and I didn’t flex it. I thought it would drift a little out of my hand. And that had no intention of doing anything but going left. 10,500 feet elevation is no joke. I got some flippy disc in my bag for the mountains. I don’t even know if it’ll be flippy enough. I might have to become an Annheiser conceal in today’s video. I think we’re going that high. That’s my guess and kind of my hope. There’s this disc golf like I’ve never seen it before. The only thing that’s come close is I played a course in Jackson Hole, Wyoming when I was living in my van and traveling through Tetons. That was on a ski slope, but it was not this. My fitness will surely be tested today as will my shot shaping because there is nothing here but a layup. Sit. Oh gosh. Just for the sake of a little bit of extra glide, I think I’m actually going to putt with the peaks again today like I did in the first videos in this series. Oh gosh, maybe not. What a start. [Music] went over through one on 198 footer plus one for amenities. They got a little arrow there. Udisk is definitely helpful. And there was surprisingly a touch of service. That looks like hole 20 going all the way back down the hill, but we’re still going up. Hole two. And the T- signs have some pretty good information. 168 ft to the trees. 160 178 ft past the trees. Shoot the gaps and follow the water to the basket somewhere through there. I’m grateful that I have this course and the 27 holder to help pad my Jeez, that is loud. To help pad my 27 under than I need. I think I need to try to shoot good early cuz I’m just going to get more and more tired for the next two videos. I think I want to try the big spikeheiser, but I don’t want to go all the way down the hill. That looks like a better play than trying to shoot the gaps. And I’m going to throw my eyebender, which is more stable up at about 8,000 ft. So, it should be even more stable up here. So, a little flat over that right side gap. Please be good. That’s exactly where I wanted to throw that. Now, it’s just got to sit. If it skipped, it’s terrible. If it didn’t, then I got 40 ft, I think. Maybe. However, I can already tell you accessibility is going to be almost a zero. Maybe. Actually, I’ve never put a zero, but it probably should be. Where the heck is the basket? What? Oh my gosh, that’s a terrible T- sign. It said it was like straight through this way. It’s way down the hill. Okay, cool that there’s pictures. Bad that the pictures led me astray. Oh man, if the basket was where the T signs that it was, I threw a good shot. Nice and floaty. What I’m going to do here is throw a putt on some Annheiser to the right. Got a little headwind. It shouldn’t turn it too much, but I want the putt to land flat. I don’t want it to land on his cuz it’ll get up and roll. I’m going to throw the peak though and probably still p with my PA3s. I don’t think it really will affect too too much from close range. Oh, that’s not Annheiser enough. Sit down. Hit that bush. W It’s like figuring out disc golf all over again. You can’t even complain. Yes. What a par. I thought no way that was making it to the basket, but that’s a good sign. Hole three, 210 ft. Looks like there’s stuff that can catch you on the left side. So, I might try to ace on this guy. I think there are smaller or shorter holes to come. So, I probably won’t make this my ace around hole cuz I have one hole per video that I can throw five shots on. The ace counts. Otherwise, the first shot counts. And I think even though it’s 250, I’m just going to throw this compass on a wide hiser. The higher you get in elevation, the less air there is to glide. So, if you’re used to your disc pushing pretty left, it’s going to push a lot less left. it’s just going to kind of fall out of the sky as it’s falling on his. So, I still want to put this right, but if I’m throwing this in Denver or down at sea level, I’m probably aiming pretty far this way, just letting the glide do the work. But instead, on a very similar shot, I’m going to move my aim point about 50 ft in, and that’ll give it a similar chance at being closer going in. Oh man, I thought the plan was coming together. If I don’t actually think it’s going in in the middle of the flight, you’ll probably hear me say go in or do it or something. If I think it’s going in, it’s the first time in the video I’m going to shut up. Dude, how close did that have to be? Had to have been just behind it. But a beautiful shot back to even par. So, I think this course is partially free cuz Arapjo Basin might be managed in part or in full by the United States Forest Service, USFS. The disc golf hasn’t been the craziest so far. But I would be lying if I said this wasn’t the most fun times I’ve been having playing in a while. Little bit of info about the Pine Martin up there. Cute little guy like a weasel. I don’t know if that’s offensive to Pine Martins, but 177 ft. Not going to be the ace run hole. A lot of trees. I would try to flip up my w through this gap, but I think I’m just going to try to throw mostly flat through the gap. Maybe touch a hiser. Maybe could be a really down tempmpo stig, but it just goes so far. I’m afraid of down tempmpoing too much and losing control because I’ve tried to throw too soft and then end up throwing low. Get around it. Squared it. Sit. Sit. Okay. Thank goodness. I can’t believe these holes are This is so This reminds me of like PNW disc golf. just almost literally 10,000 ft higher than Washington. At least where those courses were that I played, Washington can get pretty high in some of the mountainous regions. Really beautifully dugout trails as well. I know that this is one of the main reasons a lot of people love disc golf, but as I’ve gotten back into fishing a lot more and just enjoying my time out in nature, it’s made me have a new level of appreciation for the surroundings, the nature, the wildlife, and places like this where you get a little outside of the norm and you can go do one of your favorite hobbies. Like playing disc golf is one of the best things that ever happened to me. And I get to come do it in a place like this while getting to enjoy the nice cool mountain air. 55° the glacial streams. Hopefully seeing some wildlife. Moose Hollow is what it says right here. So I don’t think we’ll see one right now. I almost hope we don’t unless we see it way down the mountain or way up the mountain cuz they are big dangerous animals. This is unlike most other disc golf mountain courses I’ve played so far. Like this is a nice wide fairway on a path carved out because of the necessities of the ski slope. Incredible. I’m going to go w here because I can leave it a little wider on a little bit hiser and see if it’ll flip at all or if I uh need to be treated a little straighter. Yeah, zero flip just stays right on his sit down though. That is super juiced. Nice 300t walk through the next hole. It’s fun to kind of come around these trees and just see above the tree line way up there. Before I moved to Colorado, I didn’t get the hype of above the tree line. It’s kind of weird that they’re just trees, trees, trees, trees, trees, and then they can’t grow and there’s nothing. So cool. 267. A little bit of headwind. I don’t think these holes are the most insane, but the views are This is like climbing up the rankings in my top courses I’ve ever played. And I think this is number just about 280. We’re still going up. I think we’re going up for a while, too. We’ll be going way up there. I think I’m going wide again. It’s basically same exact shot I just threw. I’m going throw it at the basket. It should finish up on the hill and uh hopefully chill out there. Wow, that has no flip to it. Here, let’s go. I didn’t even think about flipping the first T- sign. It’s a UDI discrepancy. UIC calls it 319. This calls it 357. Looks like it’s up and around the corner. We’ve got no angle on it. The T- signs have led me astray before. Probably try to throw about 360. If I wind up short, that’s fine. I think I’m going to throw my sphinx. Still got plenty of these available. If you didn’t want to snag my tour series, signature series this from this year and support me. Thank you guys all so much who have already supported. Means the world to me genuinely that I get to do this for a living and hopefully at least most of you enjoy. Maybe I got a couple hate watches out there. Shout out to you. Don’t forget to leave a dislike on the way out. Yes. Oh, that looks money. I can’t see the basket, but if it’s where I think it is, I hope in 10 ft. It’s hole two all over again, but this time you just led me astray. This feels like it was like a 330 shot, which is is more uphill than I thought looking back down on it. Holy cow. Maybe I’m just blaming things for my bad shots. That I would never do that. Never. [Applause] No fade. Because of the lack of glide, I got to assume it’s like 50 ft farther than it is. If I would have tried to throw this 400 ft, I think I would have just pinned it cuz I genuinely felt like I threw a 350 360 shot. And then I got up here and I was like maybe I almost felt like 340, but I thought about it more. I was like, no, I felt like I threw that 360 and it wasn’t close. And from that basket, we’re going up. Well, 8 204. I’m kind of impressed that these T pads haven’t felt bad. The last video in the course quest series was at the YMCA of the Rockies with Jay Millie. kind of a half battle, half course quest, fun one. But I did not enjoy the course very much. And a big part of that was the teapads were like soft sand almost. This just feels like ow hard packed. 204 ft down there wide. Again, I can ace run this. And there’s someone flying down the mountain. So I got to throw this and then move the camera. Come on. Get through there. Ah. No, I need birdies. This is about to be the longest 324 ft shot in my life. Way up the hill. I don’t have a rangefinder in this bag. And it just keeps getting colder as I recline. I wonder how much elevation we’ve gained from the bottom. It’s got to be 3 or 400 ft at least from the first te. We have a little tailwind. I think I’m going to try to smack an Annheiser at the trees that are just right at the basket with my Ablin number cuz it’s so glidy and then it it’ll fade. Wow. I don’t think I can reach this hole. This looks like 600 ft but it’s 330 fade in front of him. Come on. Maybe I can reach the hole. I throw that in Denver on that exact line. That thing goes 440 ft. Holy cow. Crystal clear glacier runoff. Not bad. Good bird. Hole 10. T- sign calls it 243. UIS calls it 225. I hope to call it a birdie. I think I might feel the tomb. Got a little right to left. The gap’s pretty open on the right side. Oh my god. See some mountain bikers up here. Seems like a cool hiking trail. This might be a fun like day trip for a family and then slog through this course. It is beautiful though. I think I’m going to throw this tomb. Wow, that ne Wow. Well, it’s a butt. That wasn’t as flat as I needed. That thing just goes straight left. Holy cow. Yes. Feel like I need to start hitting all these cuz this mid-range right here I’ve been struggling with. So, it’s getting high enough. I might just try to float it. Sometimes when I think about floating, just comes out higher, but not like juiced. And that might be what I need to do here because this is the range that’ll get me to my 250 rated and help me on pace for my 27 under challenge. I’m really grateful I’ve been playing a lot of these mountain courses cuz I feel like my fitness right now is way better than I expected cuz I’m kind of pushing the pace at this course and it is kicking my butt a little, but not as much as I would have thought. Oh wow, that view is crazy. I’ll show you guys. I’ll set up the camera so you can see that on the putt. But we got 236 wind coming up the hill. So I think the tomb is great again, but this time a little wider and actually throw it flat. You can see the basket. Hopefully not too much of a down slope. Let’s try to land it soft. That’s nice. Oh, swing left. Come on. Okay. It’s crazy how downhill that road is. And we’re now above parts of that road that you drive down to get here. Oh my gosh, look at that fin. And I’m not talking like Nikclass Revolina or something. Just a fin of in the mountain. Gorgeous. But the weather can change rapidly up here. And it looks a touch stormy. So I’m hoping the rain at least lets us get through the round or just doesn’t come at all. I don’t like feeling the wind turn up. Oh, yep. cuz I see the rain start to fall. Yes. Oh, I thought that was going to bounce out. Nine to play. We’re fighting a storm at this point as well as the course. It’s kind of crazy that this basket doesn’t have a T sign like to where the next one is cuz this is the one where it could be anywhere. 291. This looks like a forehand, but the ground gives me question. There’s a wind coming this way. And one of the staples of the series that I haven’t thrown yet has been the broadbird with the wind and the height. If I throw it on some to the left, I think it can be a good shot. As I’m filming this, I think Broadick is doing 24 hours whenever that video comes out. I’m posting this video today as I’m filming. So, oh, he’s doing it right now probably. Holy cow. Go shout out Brick. Follow him on Instagram and check out his YouTube for when that comes out. I cannot wait to see that video. over that rock. Smack that rock, but it’s 15 ft. Robert, for the win. Also, I just noticed they have the rake there for the teapad. Extra big win. If you can’t have concrete teapads, cheaper solutions to have rakes on them. Of course, it’s like brooms. They’ll probably get taken in some capacity. But all the way up here, I don’t know if anyone’s trucking a rake down on their back and stealing that bad boy. Play defense. That’s a new style. I like it. Yeah, exactly. Good shot. Thank you. I somehow convinced that guy to not play defense. Good decision. Good birdie, Brick. I feel like he’s birdied every single video. I said the holes are so now where the heck do I go? Oh no. 45T. That was hole 12. We might be starting to go downhill. We’ve been going uphill every single shot almost. Sometimes you need to put your head down. Really though, if you’re being honest. Never mind. I just sprinted back up that hill because I got tricked again. I swear sometimes Udisk, he’s teasing me with the direction that it points that arrow. 180° difference. Udisk. Come on. Tan calls it 400. Udisk concurs. Looks like it’s right in that trail. Actually, maybe a little left. There’s a little clearing that I can see. It’s probably hard to see on camera cuz how far away it is. And I just tried to get up on the hill and jump a bit, but for some reason my 56 self with my 50-inch vertical couldn’t see the basket. What the heck? Right to left up the hill. I think Sphinx is actually a great play at least 30% cuz it’s my signature disc. Too much wind took it though. I think that’s not going to be bad. I heard people up the hill so hopefully I didn’t hit anybody. Wow. I love this place. Holy cow. And a free to play. And if you do come up here and you like fishing at all, one of my favorite place to fish is on the way here. Really popular spot. I’m not like hitting anyone’s honey hole, but Georgetown Lake, just a beautiful place to go with the family and you can walk the shoreline and fisher trout. Caught browns out of there and rainbows and it’s a beautiful area to stay or a little further into Mountain Silverthorn. This is this is a place to come if you want a disc golf vacation. Especially cuz the next two courses I’ll be playing are I think within 30 minutes of here. What a beautiful area. Are you kidding me? The flag goes way too low. And the tea sign. I’m so far away from the basket. You see this little clearing? I was like, “Oh, for sure it’s right there.” Nope. Down to the right. Well, if the basket’s where I thought it was, I’d have a really good shot. Unfortunately, it’s definitely not bars. I think chicane just try to get it close. It’s so downhill. Oh man, if it rolled down a little bit, it might have got caught by something to be good. That could be a putt. A bogey here from that shot. I’m not too mad about. Wow. Actually, pretty decent up shot. I’m starting to get nice and tired and a little lightheaded. Little touch extra focus right over. Just put it in just over this bush. It’s in the basket. Part time. Just not that of the bush that I wanted to be over. This hole is only 260. You can probably sit way down there. You know, we’re getting closer to throwing downhill. We’re already starting to cuz I can hear the music getting louder and louder every hole. We’re not quite on the ace run hole yet, but with that bogey brings us back to four under par with seven to play. 9 is the pace that I need to be on for the challenge. But one of these courses, according to Udisk, is much harder than the other two. Nine down would be probably 10, 260, 270 at least. But if I only get a couple, it’s fine. I don’t know if 250 is still in the cards if I’m six or seven down. Wow, this hole is crazy, actually. Oh my gosh. I got to show you this on my phone. You could That’s still only the top top top of the basket that you can see there. It’s even more downhill from that. You can’t see at all from back here. I thought you could see the top of the basket. You just can’t. I’m going to be honest. I have no idea what to do here. I’ve been thinking a little bit. I think putter forehand could work. Maybe even with this peak. I think I’m just going to try to throw the peak at that light at that pole. Not the light pole. and just through the gap just cuz it’s a base plastic so it’ll sit down a little easier. Um, dude, I don’t know. Wait, that’s perfect. Wait, what? Sit down. Oh, never mind. It faded out. If it rolls, I’m screwed. If it sat down, I probably have 40 ft. This hole is crazy. I like it. All righty, Peaky. Yeah, getting this one in the circle is quite the feat. Thank you. Thank you. What a bird. Holy peak. I don’t know. Sometimes when I’m throwing downhill, I just feel like I have to throw base plastic if I need it to sit. It might be smart to do a test to see if that actually changes it at all compared to premium plastic. But in my head, base plastic sits, premium plastic rolls. And this golf is a game of head cases if we’re all being honest. Bad news. might have missed the boat on the ace run hole. This hole is 150 ft up and to the left, but the ace run hole has got to be a hole that looks good on videos. So, if I get it, we could put it on Instagram and YouTube shorts. Where the heck is this? They say it’s way up to the left. Oh my gosh. Thought it was going to be in this aspen patch, but it’s just kind of obscured. Straight line and really not a bad line for this hole. Probably not super aable and definitely wouldn’t look good if you did. You need something that dumps pretty fast. Got to be the chicane, honestly. Maybe the swarm. This is much dumpier. Oh, nice and short. I guess it’s time for the every video segment of good news. Bad news. Bad news. Can’t throw the swarm 150. Good news, it rolled away. So, I have a chance to make birdie. No. Oh, no. I didn’t see it keep rolling. So, that’s a good sign. How lucky is this sit because of that? Wow. Thank goodness. Once you get to this point, cell and GPS server starts to get a little spotty. Don’t necessarily trust you. Once again, I trusted the little arrow. Then I started hoofing it up that hill until I looked again and I was like, “Where the heck is this keypad?” Guess what? You said I was further away from the teapad, but traveling on the right direction according to the arrow. Everyone say hi to my car. Well, if I’m being completely honest, that’s not the most dangerous shot I’ve likely ever hiked up the side of a mountain to get, but it’s probably top three. 420T all the way down the hill. Super down the hill. This hole is so downhill. I think I’m going to throw my chicane. It’s 420 ft. But I think if I leave this left, it’s it might need to be more overstable than that. Honestly, I might throw the swarm. cuz you just need something to get downhill. You could almost putt this. I’m almost tempted to putt it with the function cuz I put it in my bag for fun. I might do that as a second just for funsies. But I think I’m going swarm. Need some redemption after not throwing it 150 ft. Maybe I can throw it 420. [Music] Go in. Oh, that skip right next to the basket. And now I got a 40footer. That was sick. All right, let’s drive this function half jump putt. I got to do from the back of the tea. Oh my gosh. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. [Music] I’m going to utet. I think that went 800 ft. There is another basket all the way down there. That would be fun to throw, too. I’ll have to come back here and make more videos of this place in the coming years. Maybe a video just trying to ace that hole way down there with some friends. Where did the swarm go? Hopefully you can see me all the way down here. [Music] Good up. I do wonder if hit those first couple practice holes and when I thought, oh no, that was hole 20. Shoot, we have 20 holes, not 18. That makes more sense. I think we got some long ones to play then cuz we’re a bit ways from the teapad of 20 that we passed by earlier. I think we still got to play that hole. We’ll find the function after we play that one. I do have a UI disk measurement going so hopefully we can see how far it went. Just an incredibly gorgeous 468 footer. So downhill. I might throw those things cuz I can. A little headwind though. Wow. Gorgeous. I want to just throw this big wide hiser but then you couldn’t see it cuz there’s trees in your way. Of course I want to score well. But we’re going to try sphinx. Nice and smooth. Little headwind, littleer. Right at it. Let it flip and do the work. Yes. Oh yeah. Oh no. Don’t turn that much. Oh gosh. That was only 200 long. It might be in the creek. That this might be gone forever. I’m going to do a provisional routine in case I don’t find it. I’m going to throw the watt. Holy cow. found the function. See what you just says. Let’s go. I can officially be called AB now. I throw 780 ft. Don’t question the context. The watt is in the circle about 30 ft long. The sinks is past the snowmobiles. Oh my gosh. This does not look good for me. Hopefully make bogey, but the goals are not looking super likely right now. I just started trouncing around through some stuff and I saw it. I don’t think I’m going to be able to get out. I’ll put a POV shot. You’ll see the basket. I’ll show you the start. I found this thing really quickly. So, I’m actually might have time, but I don’t really have an out. I wish I could just abandon my Y and play the provisional. Just going to rip the function somehow and hope it’s good. I didn’t hear a lot of trees. I might be out. I’ve had to find some discs quickly and I’m so stoked that I’ve been able to shoot. That function might have gone nowhere. Oh, shoot. The function kind of got out. Once again, you’re not going to be able to see me, but stinks forehand. Don’t hit those. No. Ah, money. Oh my. I resign that to a miss immediately out of my hand. Basket. Thank you. If I shoot 27 down total cuz of you, I’ll be stoked. The provision will turn out to be unneeded but awesome. Hole number 18. Three to play. 270 ft. This has to be the ace hole because this is the ace run hole. We’re going forehand. I’m only throwing three. Proion interval, which I knew they put in the bag. These forged ones. It’s kind of like a more stable Proion, but similar control driver. And Yi emperor got a little bit of right to left wind pushing it down the hill. I don’t want to pick up a five disc if I’m honest with you. So, I think first one’s going to be the Proion and then the other two. Hopefully, we get the ace. But jeez, that next hole looks uphill. That’s so low. Skip hard. Ah, batter skip kind of skip actually. Ah, emperor. Real skip. Nothing. Okay. Bad ace friends. You’ll have to worry about the secret disc for the next one. Pretty shot. You’re not even close enough. Drop in there. Kabar. This might officially be the farthest 260 ft hole in the world. I feel like this is going to be one of my favorite courses grading wise, but one of the worst courses you just score-wise, which is fine. A lot of learning. 246 they call it. I bet this thing plays 500 ft. I’m throwing an emperor. [Music] I don’t think I can reach that hole. At least not right now. Oh my gosh. Holy cow. No way. Oh, what? How in the world do I miss that high on a 20? Good power. Double bad news and a good news. Bad news, we got a 620 ft walk from 19 to 20. It gets us back to the practice basket. Gets us closer to hole one, which is nice, but quite the walk when you’ve already done quite the hike. Guess triple bad news. Second, I doubt I’ll be able to get to all three of these courses today. My day got started a few hours later than I expected. My body needed some sleep from this crazy week I’ve had all these collaborations and still more to come out. But I’m going to do my best. If I play really well at the next course, it is possible. Third bad news, I doubt this is going to be 250. My guess is honestly 215 maybe. Course is pretty shreddable. I think it probably need to be at eight down or better. And hopefully I can get to five. The good news is the scorecard time before you throw hole 20. Terms of cost 3.99 you can’t really beat. This is a course that I would pay money to come and play, but you don’t have to cuz it’s free. Shot shaping honestly pretty good. The elevation adds a lot lots of ups and downs, but I feel like I could have thrown a backount on every hole. Doesn’t really force a forehand, but I think you could throw a forehand on a lot of these. I think for this fact of the elevation and the fact that you’re going to have to be throwing new discs that you’re not used to shaping, I’ll actually give shot shaping a three. Severe gain and drops require a lot of extra thinking. X factor, of course. Do you see this? Accessibility. You need to be pretty fit to play this or have plenty of time. Bring plenty of water. Tricky course, but worth it if you can do it. Amenities. I’m going to give it two. 13 pads, but they’re not bad. Good baskets. T- signs. You just is mostly right. and you have everything else that’s going on at a basin. Let’s throw hole 20. Hopefully it goes well and I get to five down. Shoot. I’m playing the next course and I forgot to do the scoring. I think that’s because in my opinion the scorecard without the scoring is more like this is what the course is. The certified score, the most scientific score in the world is obviously just my opinion. So very biased dependent. But I think I’d have to give Arapaho Basin thinking about it as a course that’s like what courses do I want to come back to? That’s one of them. That’s one that I would very much want to come back to compared to almost any other courses I’ve ever played. It’s It’s getting up there for me. I think I’m going to have to give it 9.0. Just straight up nine, which is the best by far so far in the series. But this course is already living up well. So, you have to watch the next video on Tuesday or Wednesday or whenever it comes out. They call it 363. Looks like a nice little forehand wind. I don’t feel a lot doing. Could honestly be a watt, but I like a driven low forehand. I almost need something more overstable than the Broadbird. I don’t want to throw the swarm again because I think I have to flex it and I’m a little afraid of torquing that over. So, I’m going to try to throw a smooth flat downhill broadbird on a touch of hiser. So, mostly pushes straight. Maybe it skips in. Who knows? Oh, that’s really good. Get there. What a finish. Shout out Broadick with Broadbird. Go follow that man cuz what’s going on right now? I’m just going to call that five down. We’ll end up here because of all the music. No chance I’m missing that. Not the worst round ever. So fun. What do you give me a basin? [Music] I’m going to be toast at the end of this. [Music] 226. Not bad. But that means a disc is going in the bounty bin. If you come beat my score and emailgmail, you can win that disc. And I think I’m going to keep it for these three videos, but this one’s going to be the Ibond Emperor. Might be surprising, but I got a couple other good ones. And secretly, I’m actually going to put in a pink one. That’s in my car. That’s max way. That one’s 167. So, I kind of cheating, but thanks for watching. Here’s where the leaderboard sits. One of the lower UDIS graded rounds, but a lot to figure out and very enjoyable. Thanks for watching. We’ll see you soon. Subscribe.

Is this the most extreme disc golf I’ve ever played? Yes. The Most extreme in the world? Possibly. After playing here, I want to try all contenders and figure it out!

  1. That jump putt down the mountain towards the end was unbelievable!! Longest jump-putt ever recorded!!!!!

  2. I really never would have thought a 782 jump-putt was possible!!!! Bodanza is disc golf Superman!!

  3. I've been waiting for you to play this course! I got to play it a few years ago and was laughing at how stable my discs were there.

  4. 25:18 when I played this hole I was kinda oblivious as to how downhill this shot was so I threw a forehand wraith super hard and it went 700 ft😭

  5. My favorite course! Best ace hole would be #20

You gotta go visually confirm the baskets on your first go round though!

The vid trying to ace the long downhill hole would be epic

  6. Im actually flying into Colorado next week and was going to stop at A Basin to play so its interesting to be seeing this now. I skid there 3 years ago the views are absolutely amazing

  7. Never clicked a vid so fast. Immediately knew that was A basin. My favorite course I’ve played! Hope you enjoyed our summit county courses! We’re beyond blessed up here but it also comes with the shortest disc golf season possible.

  8. For a top mountain golf course, some day you should try to check out Sward's Ranch in Montana. It's like nothing else. You can find some old pro coverage there from Central Coast, but they've done a lot since then.
