The Ryder Cup is finally here … and Europe has picked up right where they left off two years ago in Rome.
After Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas won the very first hole, Europe dominated pretty much the rest of the foursomes, winning three matches going away to take the early 3-0 lead. Only Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele gave the USA a point.

After the morning play, Europe leads 3-1.
Bethpage Black is hosting the Ryder Cup for the first time, and ticket prices have been sky-high. President Donald Trump is on hand for the matches on Friday afternoon, too, which has led to an increase in security at the classic Long Island course.
