The Basics
The Drake women’s golf team remains in-state for its next event at the Diane Thomason Invitational, Sep. 29-30. The Bulldogs will head east to Iowa City and play 54-holes over two days at Finkbine Golf Course, the home course of the University of Iowa.

About the Course
Named after W.O. Finkbine, who donated the land to the University of Iowa, the course is a scenic 18-holes that spreads out over 200 acres of rolling Iowa terrain and open to the public. Finkbine Golf Course is owned by the University of Iowa’s Athletic Department and is home to the University of Iowa Men’s and Women’s collegiate golf teams. The course measures in at 6,437 yards and plays as a par 72.

Drake will trek over to Lawrence, Kansas for its penultimate tournament of the fall season for the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational hosted by Kansas. The tournament will be played from Lawerence Country Club Oct. 6-7.
