It’s not new to golf, it’s the worst sport in terms of coverage. But, what are we doing here? I don’t think we saw a single tee shot at 2, which seems impossible when there are only 8 balls in play. But the amount of commercials, the lack of showing shots and not having a Red Zone style quad box is fucking insane. It’s stupid actually.
It shouldn’t be this hard. Just let us watch golf. It’s a simple request that everyone in the country has. I understand you need commercials, do a playing through.
I’d tell you what’s going wrong with the US besides putting like assholes and the Morikawa/English pairing getting destroyed but we haven’t seen enough shots. Again, it’s not new when we’re talking about golf coverage, but this is atrocious. We wait 2 years for this event and all we want to do is watch it yet here we are with a million different commercials and sound problems. It’s one of the worst coverages we’ve had, like Kirk said.
We should have the ability to watch any group we want hit every shot. This isn’t tough to do, we’re not asking for much. Let us watch golf and stop putting like assholes.
