Just a few short weeks ago, I bought a One Plus iron from the guys at Teimu. This thing has 15 degrees of loft and maximum offset to help you hit draws off the tea. I’ve tested it to the nth degree. It performs incredibly well for the price. But this man could be the perfect person for this club. Gaz, how are you? I kind of spotted this in your bag, didn’t I? You did. It was one of those where you really really love the look of it, didn’t you? I just couldn’t believe it were off Teemo. So, whenever we buy things off Teemo, it’s always quite interesting because I always worry if something’s genuine or not. Now, this thing looks as genuine as they come and it actually looks like a really, really good club. So, today we’re going to put this to the test. We’re going to test it out here at Woolly Park Golf. We’re going to have a match with it as well, cuz I always think if you can get your competitive juices going with something like this, it gets really interesting. I don’t like losing to Gaz. Gaz doesn’t like losing to me. So, without any further ado, Gaz, I’ll let you lead us off. So, we’re gonna have a match, but we’re also gonna towards the back end of this video, let Gaz hit some shots with it. Let him try and work some shots and see exactly what helps him. Oh, the keys are going away. He must mean business. Better get some teaser. You can see we have a bag full of clubs to test for you today. So, guys, is a one iron something you would be quite interested in using? Do you know what? A one iron generally would put a lot of fear into me. And do you know you don’t see them much off market these days do you? I mean a one plus size. So 15° is some people’s driver. It’s generally a three-wood loft isn’t it? But you can see it’s got loads of technology. Loads of offset as well. And it’s even got a kind of really nice hollow body design with a weighting in the back to help you launch it a little bit. So really it could be the perfect club. I know you’ve struggled well. We’ve both struggled off the tea this year. Well that’s what I was going to say. I mean, I’ve had times where I’ve struggled with driver and I’ve been looking for like a a two iron or, you know, like a strong lofted iron and you just can’t find them. I’d be really interested to put you like a crazy shaft in there and see how that worked. Like a graphite or something. Oh, graphite design 80 DI7. Here we go. I’m just going to aim at that bunker really and see what happens. Oh wow. I mean, first swing at day, it launched. I tell you what, it’s stuck. Can see it’s still going just left of that. But that is incredible. So, when I tested this, I’ve tested it in the studio. I’ll put the numbers on screen now for you rather than making you wait. But then you hit that and it’s like, wow. 3,000 spin. What’s that carrying? I carried 210 yards releasing out to 230. It’s good. And it’s that really low boring ball flight. The wind is not touching that at all. Like that’s the best strike I’m probably going to have. But because of the offset, it really is going left. So I set out on the golf course. I can imagine this spinning at like 2 half th000. You can see there backspin 2577 RPM. It was a really interesting feeling that off the ground it’s very difficult. It’s 15 degrees. It’s going to be hard to launch. But from a teg, oh, got mud all over my new glove. From a teg, you can actually really get this working as you want to from right to left. The offset takes care of any kind of open face for you. And you can see like that kind of ball like there, if that’s pitching anywhere near 200 yards and scuttling on, it could be the perfect club for so many people. Guys, get in the comments below. Could you see yourself using a Onlus iron and could you see yourself shopping at Teeu? Cuz a couple of years ago, I couldn’t. Some of the stuff’s pretty good. Bit early for Lucas Egg, guys, in it. So, when it comes to Teemo, we do a lot of videos on stuff like this because I know a lot of people have been in the comments, oh, another Teemo video. Some people do really like the idea of them. And I think if something, you said a really, really valid point to me today. something’s making a wave in the golf industry. It’s kind of we feel like we have to cover it as well and it’s on the marketplace at the end of the day. You know, it’s there for people to buy and whether we like it or not, you know, we’ve got to I think we’ve got to comment on that. The one thing I can’t believe is I’ve not seen a major brand make something like this. You know, OnePlus iron like a I mean, maybe we’ve seen one in the past, but even like a P790 is a 17 degree UDI iron. So to have a 15 degree I think is really really interesting. You can see bang smack in the middle of that fairway for my T-shot. Uh and Gaz has just the left but they’ve gone a long way these like I’ve got a nine or a pitching wedge in and this isn’t a pushover of a golf hole either. You’d be in a a fairway wood or an average wouldn’t you guys would start cutting winter greens out. Oh no. That is not the sign we want is it? No. Good strike. Be the club. That’s all over it. Be the club. Wow. Come on. Uphill birdie put. Come on. Isn’t golf funny cuz I played terrible. I didn’t one shot like that yesterday. Right guys, nice T- shot for yourself. What’s that like distance for you on this hole? Uh, it’s left 118. So, it’s not bad then, is it? I did obviously draw it a little bit. I’ve come a bit further left than I would have liked, but 118. I think once you get used to the offset on the club as well, it’s a really interesting because you can just aim down the right side of the hole and hit it hard. Yeah, that were it. I mean, when you’re playing sort of such a low lofted iron like that, I guess you do need the offset, don’t you? To help a little bit. Otherwise, you’re just going to slice it a bit, aren’t you? Going to have to go 50 to get the distance and hopefully get the high. Who’s that next to the flag, guys? Can you see that? I’m taking this serious. I’ll be good. Be long enough. Is it there? Oh, it’s short bunker. It’s good enough though. I can still wreck a par. Got to be positive, right, guys? Look at that for pin highness. Fair play. Obviously, the T-shot helps with that, doesn’t it? Yeah. This is a big moment. Oh, what a shot. Go in. Great shot, sir. Right, I’m going to battle. See if I can get some out of it. Green’s maintenance week here at Woolly Park, so it’s not going to be the easiest of greens to hold pups on. Bit of spinach as well. Yeah, it was nice, weren’t it? Oh, bit of sun coming out. I might have to take my jacket off, you know, in a minute. A Well, I’m not going to argue with that. Bird is a birdie. What a start. So, right, one up. Get in. But, um, we haven’t even spoke about the price of this. So, guys, how much would you think this would cost? Because I think it looks pretty fantastic to be fair. I mean, looking at it, an individual item like that, we’d be thinking like if the cheapest you’re going to get UK is 129 roughly, in it. Yeah. So the 11 and interestingly we also have it’s in my bag I think the 11 tortoise. This is a two hybrid hollow bodied. So not quite as much offset. Really really nice looking club. That’s 129. I I’d be guessing sort of 80 poundish. 67 quid. 67. So when you look at it, it’s worth the trial, isn’t it? Um right, let’s go. I’ll go another one. Um guys, would you spend 67 quid on something like this just for a trial? Would you then think about maybe putting a different shaft in it? Like thing is with the 11 you get a really really good KBS hybrid shaft in there. So that might even help you get even more kind of distance. I’m going to tee this up quite high. Tell you hit this really good the other day when we play Bobby. No Bobby today. Bobb’s on holiday. He actually is again on holiday. So right do you play for the draw here or do you just try and hit it straight? I’m going to try and hit a fade actually shot like that. See, that’s the shot where I think I could have got caught out there cuz I have cut across a little bit, but the offset saved me. Yeah. So, there’s an element of like forgiveness in there as well. What are your thoughts looking down at it? I mean, it’s not um it’s not like a big blown up cavity, is it? It’s still it’s still like a midsize looking iron. Almost like a power distance iron. Yeah. I mean, it’s got more offset than you’d normally see on a power distance iron. Yeah. Uh, but I think for the T- box and because it’s such a low degree, if you didn’t have that, I think a 15 degree iron is just going to disappear right into 100%. It’s funny when I reviewed this, some of the comments like, “Oh my god, I need one of these in my life.” That’s why I wanted to do a bit of a follow-up video and put it in the hands of you cuz I trust your uh your opinions on clubs as much as anyone’s. Do you know what I think this is going to be great for is that month at year where you can’t get off tee driver. Yeah. You if you’re a decent iron striker, kind of like July, August. Yeah. Like you can hit a good four iron and you’re just struggling with driver and you need something to pull you out. People don’t like hybrids either. Yeah. Oh, how good is that? Great shot right at the post. Warming to it now, aren’t you? I can’t wait to see how far that’s actually gone. Yeah, because a four irion’s probably going to go 190. 4 23 24 degrees as well, isn’t it? Yeah. But if that can go like 230, 240, that’s going to be an awesome tool, isn’t it? Right. Two pretty good T-shots there. And Gaz’s uh Yeah, that’s the pole that we’re supposed to aim at on this hole. Do you know in that wind though I’ve known people it fairway would have not not get past the corner. Yeah. Not be able to get past because you do have to get you can see M’s just through the gap there. You have to hit a good shot, don’t you? And I think with that you can almost guarantee you’re going to get a strong ball fly. So if you’re hitting into a wind, you’re going to be fine. I just think you know you’re playing well if you have to take out the uh aiming pole. This could be big. Throw a birdie at me here. Well, it’s serious now, is it? We’re getting down to crunch. I’m looking forward to seeing you hit like a few shots with it, you know, like time after time and just see how Yeah, it’s 79 yards. I’m going to go I do think it’s a gap in a lot of people’s bags that potentially could solve a problem for you all. Absolutely. And I think people It’s a club at that price point that you can use a bit of a rotation. And it’s not a copy of anything either. No, it’s not a copy of anything. Um, and it might not be something you have in the bag for a winter or 12 months a year, but there’ll be times a year where it just comes in handy. Yeah. Lynx golf and stuff like or just when it’s windy. I’d rather have that than probably a rescue. Yeah. You know, in wind. This could be nice. Oh, I tell you what, it’s dancing. Yeah. If that’s uh if that’s took a little kick forward, that’s very good. And again, it helps being bang smack in the middle of the fairway, doesn’t it? Yeah. Good. Good position to come in from that. Right. Gaz’s about 5 ft away by the looks of that. How far did you have? Uh oh. I think I had 78, haven’t I? Sat under a bit of a tuft. Sit. Sit. Spin. Yeah, it’s not too bad. It’s an uphill put in the rough. I can’t believe yours is that close. I definitely think there’s um I definitely think there’s something in it, you know, be having the confidence that you are middle of the fairway. Oh, definitely. I mean, it’s something that you feel like you’ve gotten a piece of string into it. You know, being an iron, bit shorter shaft. Obviously, we need to put a different shaft in it, don’t we? Yeah. I mean, it could definitely make it go further. Yeah. But, you know, with steel shaft, I I do feel a bit more sense of control. Yeah. But on that point, maybe just an upcharge steel shaft. Yeah, potentially. I think I might need this. It’s one of them, isn’t it, though? Like you start dressing it up and then are you building potentially? Yeah. Spending more money than you need to. Yeah. But for what it is and how it is, it’s decent. No way. No way. Oh my lab HS. What can I do? Like to thank Sam H for that one. What can I do? Well, this is just to sort of get it off now, is it? [Music] Wow. Well, mate, if you’re going to make two birds in first two holes, I can’t do anymore. Let’s concentrate on this one iron, mate. Let’s concentrate on one iron. Well played, mate. feeling your arms. Do you know what, mate? You two bird is in two holes. Sometimes you just got to put your hands up and say, obviously holding the putts is the the the big factor in that, but also getting in like getting in play. The amount of times we’d hit driver on both those holes and come off with bogeies. It’s not necessarily the club at 67 quid from Teemo, but it’s probably the game plan, isn’t it? I mean, you’ve you’ve been working a lot on game plan, haven’t you? Yeah, absolutely. And people, you know, you do have to put well to score well, but at end of day, you got to be at fairway as well, aren’t you? Yeah. Right. Come on. We hit three shots with where is it? The bad boy here. Cuz I think people are tuning in to see us either have a catastrophe with this or show that it’s potentially one of the I’d say one of the best value golf clubs for off the tea in the world. Only got two balls. You know what? It it wouldn’t be far off that title to be honest. No. Um because I don’t think you’re getting another one iron brand new in wrapper for did you say £70? 67 quid. Yeah. 67. And like when you look at the numbers that I’ve managed to get with this, yeah, it’s not the most forgiving club in the world. I mean accuracy wise, I’d say it probably is, but numerical wise, you can still get some really, really good long shots with it. I’ll let you take your best one, mate. How’s that? We’re going for the white wash, but we’re doing three each. I’ll just say one. Are you in one? But I’m going to try to do something a bit different on everyone. Then, shall I try I’ll start off. So, aiming left and see if we can get a bit of a high F. I tell for the first one, just hit that one where you just whatever you do to get it in play for the match. We were level. Yeah. Right. We’re level just in play for match. So in between them two, the hole is measuring 351. So it’s it’s no gimme of a hole. Very tight T-shot. Really good. And that’s in play. That’s an absolute beast. It’s I mean for me when I try to sort of hit what I call a straight shot, it goes straight. Yeah. That sounds silly, I know, but I don’t think you’re hitting a better shot than that because it’s never going to go really high, is it? Because it’s only 15 degrees of of static. Well, it felt solid and it just like we’re straight with a tad little bit of draw but low. So, if I try to play anything a bit higher now and fader. Let’s see what happens. It might not because of offset but Oh, it has a fade. Yeah. A little bit too far. Right. I was going to say what what I would say is I’ll never attempt that shot again. Yeah. Because I think it’s a low percentage shot because it’s just so low low in loft. Yeah. And it’s um it’s fading more than I expected. Try teing it up higher and hitting it more on the up. I found, you know, if you hit it more like a wood Yeah. you could really get it kind of launching a bit. What a draw or just Yeah. So you’re like uh folding the stands but the offset Yeah. will allow it to draw. This could be the shot then. Oh, you’re right. That’s the one. There we go. See, that’s the one for me. When I hit that in the studio, it went miles. I could I think I genuinely set up that like a driver inside front heel, you know, no shaft lean, just shaft on back at ball. And I did. I did what you said. I tip pie it up on it. I think I got a better fly out. It’ be interesting to see if that if that’s gone further than the first one, then that’s the way to set up to it like a driver. Even if you peg it up like that. I don’t know how you discovered that, but you could have just discovered some just messing about cuz it’s it’s a lack of loft in it. So, if you get your sternum back Yeah. But almost throw your hands at it. Your problem is if you catch it not out the middle, then it’s going to lose loads of ball speed. But if you can catch it like that, shot. I know that’s a bit more attacking than you want to be with an iron, but I think that’s going to have gone a long way as well. I mean, I teed that up like a driver. I think something good about this is we’re swinging very hard at it, which is telling us it’s quite forgiving to do that. Yeah. You know, you wouldn’t fancy it swinging like a free iron. No, not really. No. I think it’s the offset that allows you because you know it’s not going to go right. Yeah. Um you’re going to win one. I don’t know after that shot. I might not. Right. This is mega interesting. There’s two banks smack in the middle which will be Gaza’s first one and my shot and then Gaza’s second one just in the right hand roof maybe a couple of yards behind them. Obviously it can be determined on how firm the ground is at the place it’s landed and stuff like that. But if that’s mine and mine’s gone past Gaz’s. By the way, I know chopped my finger off this morning trying to get into a golf club and that really hurt. But that is mine. It’s a Kirkland. So I’ve put well five yards on you there and I didn’t think anything was going to get past yours. No, no, mate. To be fair to you, I just wish you’d have told me about hitting up on it earlier in video. He’s kept that one to himself. But no. Yeah. Fantastic. And great shot. You deserve to win. You’ve you’ve cleaned up, mate. Clean. What do you call it? Clean sweep. A white wash, I believe. White wash. Are we calling it there then? I think that’s it. There’s no more to be said. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you’ve enjoyed it. Lots more videos to come like this. We do like finding budget options that can really help you guys play better golf. So, apart from that, make sure you go and check out Gaza’s channel, and we’ll see you all very, very soon. Bye. I’ll just put that put back on screen, mate. No way. No way. Oh my. I’ll get him next time.

It looks very JDM with styling on the back
I’ve been told that the stuff from Temu is garbage James. You would be frightened to buy from it as you would waste your money.
For people wanting to play but have limited budget to start i think temus ideal i think brands need to keep an eye out as their profits could drop with younger folk getting in to the game ???
Get a 5w or a 3h instead of this club. Both are useable without a tee and, James, you said it's too hard to hit without a tee, unlike the 5w or 3h.
If it is shipping from China, I would be worried about paying an additional clearance fee if shipping to the USA.
Temu shit again
I got a PXG 0311ST 3i built 2° strong at 17° with a graphite shaft. Similar club that goes when it's hit well. Feels like 🧈
I played a 1 iron for 50 years first a blade which sadly vanished in a house move and latterly a Ping Eye 2+ and it was a great club for tight courses or fast hard (and breezy) links courses! I could still hit it but a hybrid was becoming the better option given my age! Miss it though!
I just purchased a 68°sand wedge with 16°bounce and it's really good, can't go wrong for £46 😊
I don't see much utility in a 1 iron, the distance isn't any better than a 3 hybrid, and has to be harder to hit. It's also not going to be easy to hit off the fairway, where a hybrid is. The only use I see for it is hitting low shots out of the trees.
James, a 1+ iron is good for pretty much no one. You’d have you be an excellent ball striker to make this club work well consistently. In theory I understand how a strong-lofted iron could help into wind or on a burned out course with hard fairways, but this iron’s lack of forgiveness would punish 99% of golfers.
Great review lads 👍 I think that 1+ iron is tops for the cost&really impressive as it has a pxg vibe to it too, just shows paying big money doesn't always give you a good game! But you both played this iron brilliantly&I am jealous 😁 by the way Gaz no way your game is sh#te with them tee shots 😊 I think you was yanking our pissa's when you was saying you was in a dead zone the other week 😂 but well done hole no2 was showroom standards 😊👍
Interesting pricing relative to most mini drivers.
1 iron from Temu? Nope!
Great video guy’s
Looked on temu for the trs3 you had but couldn't find it anywhere
They also have a 1 hybrid with 13 degree loft its excellent
I bought the Wilson version, the 15 degree Wilson utility iron – absolutely brilliant golf club! I’ve been using a 1 iron since the 1980’s and I love them.
Back in the day had a Callaway X14 one iron. It was my 240 yd go to driving iron. It’s now in the garage gathering dust!😂
I still have a Callaway x-12 1 iron that I had 30+ years ago
Thank you for the Temu videos. It is good to get testing results without having to potentially waste money. I have got a few clubs based on your videos.
be careful temu is a credit card scam
Nothing I hate more than the “for the price” is it good or not?
Really they are all just a piece of metal on a stick, if loft is good and shaft is good it's good no matter where it comes from
Great vid. Would love to see some of the Temu wedges given a test.
I have a 0 iron.(11*) I like it but it is hard to hit but I get it out there about 270 yards.
Do you like the hybrid irons? Saw macgregor has a full set with graphite shafts for under $400.
Does it come left handed James ?
Very interesting review, bravo! Have you tried to unscrew the weight, or is it just a "pattern" in the casting? 😉
Didn’t find it on Temu but found the same one on aliexpress.. head only.. bought a 3 iron
Where is Gary’s Ai200 irons
Bought the 3 iron. Love it, looks class over the ball and looks very forgiving. Feels great. Would be some club with a better shaft.
Well James, at least this time you put the word "Shocking" in quotation marks. Now that's a nice change…….
Why make a 200 yard shot difficult for yourself? So many easier clubs out there to acheive that distance with
Used to love my old MacGregor MT Tourney 2 iron. Most recent low loft was a Tour Edge 16* hybrid.
Has Bobby gone back to revisit that hot fissure in Iceland?
Love seeing you and Gaz out on the course James. Got me interested for sure. I use to clobber a one iron off the tee in the seventies. It,would be fun to give this a try.
