now wada trying to oppose some physicality as he digs to the body nice left hand downstairs there for maada and again this what we were talking about in in the first round iada does not mind taking a few punches maybe losing a round or two nice right hand over the top there from maada and the the crowd is full of all this patriotic fervor and oh good left hook there ni combination there from Santiago but the harder right hand came from aada again to the body Santiago bring his guard up a little bit more here in this round as well but as a result perhaps a little bit more vulnerable to those body shots because aada has landed two of them in the last 10 seconds he doesn’t possess the one punch power to make shichi think twice about big left hook there from and the body language of Santi IO has noticeably changed and that Bodywork from aada is paying dividends already there’s a good combination from Santiago and another one that hasn’t managed to visibly hurt Santiago since round five combination again there from Santiago three- punch combination but back comes aada with a nice uppercut on the inside back comes Santiago with a quick left hook of his own on the inside and a nice right uppercut you saw referee Ben Rodriguez warning him for the use of head just a moment ago as he eats another right hand over the top there from Santiago back comes aada with a better one and this may be the moment he was looking [Applause] for aada going back to the bodyw work lands with a nice sweeping right hand up top there a better round for iada when the truth is these two have fought and a half rounds almost 11 rounds at a break neck Pace they’re probably both tired both those things go together but you see in this round he is a lot more stationary good combination on the inside there from Santiago staying stationary beating a water to the punch it’s much easier to do well much more practical to do in the second half of the fight maybe some of that raw punching power wears off whereas this wouldn’t have made sense in round one look at this exchange at the Bell has Renee Santi Iago pulled off the upset in our opener they certainly think so Champion [Music] Rene [Music] Santiago so Renee Santiago with a masterful performance on the road has snatched the world title from shii aada

  1. Ref, they said "Rene"…Re-ne…Romeo-Echo…Ay bendito! Forgive the Puerto Rican Ref., he was jealous!😢😅🤫🤭🤔♨️♨️🏆

  2. I am almost 64 this year and have been into boxing most of my life. I even had a amatuer career. As proud as I am to say "soy Boricua" I was not impressed this fighter Rene Santiago. I can tell whether a boxer especially a champion has staying power after becoming champion. Santiago, IMO in his current class is slow, has mediocre defensive skills, not very fast and really lacks power. A lot of boxers these days are given matches (cherry picked) as they move in their career in hopes one day getting that title shot. He really hasn't fought any elite talent out there so while I would say congrats on winning I really see him losing soon and fading away. With Trinidad and Cotto and I can go back way back, with those fighters you just knew they were special. I don't see or feel it with Santiago. I, like many Puerto Ricans have been waiting for a resurgence of boxing in PR and new elite talent that will put us back on the boxing map like back in the day. Boxing is so corrupt these days and on the WWE level. It all just for entertainment with script.

  3. what was the ref up to holding his own hand all the time.dodgy makes me think of being been fixed if it went the 12 round.?did use see if not check and id like know peoples opinion never have i seen that.seen small mistakes but looked wrong.1000%

  4. Why gloves so big? For that weight class it used to be 6-8 oz. That how it was. People changing baseball and boxing stupid. Ruined the sport.
