liked about him without meeting him was that I asked him like what his favorite songs were and he very confidently recommended a few songs for me I would never have done that because he he doesn’t know what kind of songs I like or he doesn’t know that I’m gonna like his recommended songs but I just like that he he just blurted out his favorite songs and I was like oh there’s something that I would never do I think for me it was just more of like the fact that I could just sit with her in a hookah bar and just talk about like what we liked and where we’re going in life and we vibed on that I knew that I would never be bored so I just have the best time with him I liked how he was ambitious and like we had same outlook on life and our ethical values aligned and like those kind of things I feel like they were like given but then the thing that tipped it off was that I knew I would never get bored [Music] I think when you like really look internally and you think about where you’re going to be sitting as a person it looked internally and I was like I want this lady to be next to me for the rest of my life and so then I just made it out foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] you are my best travel body I said that because I had just come back from a long weekend trip because we were always coming back from somewhere while we’re living in Hong Kong and until today you are still my favorite person to travel with not just because I love spending time with you but it’s also because we make a great team and we both share our chill outlook on most things in life including our travel campuses I still wonder to this day how you and I who could not have had a more different childhood can have this instinctual connection and understanding of each other I love that you just get me when I say that this dim sum is really good and you understand my need to have periodic Malaysian food I love that we can reminisce about our life back in Hong Kong going to our favorite restaurants she shop bars and late night dim sums moving to the U.S has been a big change for me but adjusting to this life has not been as daunting or boring that I expected it to be because I know that I just feel at home as long as I’m with you you are the silent magnetic force that can be grounded and calm and This Promise through every aspect of my life and it just makes me a better person at home so taking care of lofi has been the most fulfilling experience for me and it just made me realize what I was destined to be to be a corgi mom so today in front of all of our loved ones I promise to you that I will support you and all of your endeavors Ambitions and aspirations I will support you in all of your late night snack choices and tag along to any of sports event that you want to go to I promise to love you respect you and protect you and give you the best version of myself and I feel like we’ve already experienced season have closed some of great chapters of our lives but I can’t wait to share more amazing moments with you love you Min John you look so beautiful today I told you our first ceremony you are the love of my life and two years into marriage I’ve never felt more showing about that statement I’m so happy that we can have this moment in front of our family and friends I can give everyone that we care about some insight into our love and relationship what I love about being with you is what we bring out in each other and I don’t think I’ve ever been more comfortable with anyone else your humor determination and love for your family and friends are infectious and it’s made me a better person the last five years have been the happiest of my life and I look forward to the next 60 years being even happier our relationship has been multiple countries states and probably too many moves with more to come across all the different experiences I know I haven’t found the right person during our time in Hong Kong every trip to get fish balls at 2 A.M after going out in central every time you introduce me to your family and friends in Hong Kong and Korea every time we able to he walked around Hong Kong just talking about life and other dreams and every time we took an adventure to another country and city I fell in love with you over and over again during each of these experiences the culmination of which was you coming on the biggest adventure of our lifetimes which was moving to the US and continuing this love story Through the Ages I thought of acute metaphor just grab our love and relationship hop on dinner I want them tastiness bring people and love together and it’s always a good time no recipe is ever the same which keeps things exciting and the flexibility of the meal means we each get what we want most importantly it’s the highlight of our day and something we always look forward to enjoy I’m Jung I’m so proud of the person that you are today and everything you accomplish in the future you’re living your dream of ultimately reaching a top university and pursuing a great career you’re already a great dog mom I know you’ll be an even better human mom I’m so lucky to call you my wife and happy in my life I’m be honest and faithful and provide for you and for your growing family I’ve got to be your partner and best friend and commit to having the best life together happy and sad times light and darkness as we both were all together and right off in the sunset [Music] what I’m excited about is I mean I like that we both have like stable jobs and whatnot and whatnot but I also like the fact that our life is so unpredictable there might be a chance that they will want to move him back to Asia or we might be moving to London which we’re open to or Singapore so like those doors are open we are ready for those pleasant surprises [Music]
