  1. Zverev has been saying that he's just been playing badly, hence the losses, but still good enough to put Shelton away.

  2. Ben' daddy should find defects In playing clay court and grass court with Sasha in last 2 match

  3. Even tho he almost chocked Zverev actually did it! 🔥 i had a small Stake punt on him winning it and couldn't be more happy 😁 We have to give credit to Shelton though, he played extremely well defending the match points against Zverev 👏

  5. IMO Shelton is the only American male with the talent to win a GS title.
His combo of speed, power, size, is unique and he's not yet a finished product by any means.

Unfortunately I am convinced he will not win a GS with his father as his main coach.
He needs a professional like Annacone or Cahill to get there.

  6. Should’ve reversed the order of the matches if the announcer was going to to spoil the winner during the Zverev Shelton match

  7. Zverev Plays Shelton; Fritz Takes On Auger-Aliassime | Stuttgart 2025 Semi-Final Highlights brought top-tier tennis action—powerful rallies, smart tactics, and all four players showing why they’re among the best in the game!

  8. Zverev played the kind of match that I didn't think he was capable of this year. First of all, his accuracy on hitting the sides was far superior to usual and was able to handily defeat Shelton in nearly every rally unless Shelton produced a rocket FH. Second, his return of serve was amazing, and often — due to Shelton's Rune-esque immaturity about when to go to net — produced incredible passing shot after incredible passing shot. Typical Zverev is not known to excel in that area, so, statistically speaking, it was not the worst decision for Shelton to go to net.

Despite Zverev's dominance in total points, it did come down to two tiebreaks, but this should not be a surprise. Shelton's game is American: big serve, heavy FH, reliable but non-threatening BH. If he's to beat the top talents in the game, it's going to be due to an astonishing display on serve. He's got loads of fast-twitch athleticism — IMO possibly the most athletic man to ever play, ahead of early-career Monfils — but he's still raw: more athlete than tennis player. He's too massive for lateral agility to play to his favor, which is a trait that leads to sustained greatness…the Big 3 had it in spades (Fed to a slightly lesser degree), and the present Big 2 are the best in the business by far at covering sideline to sideline (how Alcaraz can also be jacked and move like he does is just unnatural).

Zverev is no pushover — he may not be a great champion and fold like a cheap table in many finals, as he did today against Fritz and as he frequently chokes against Sincaraz and Djoker, but consistency has been his calling card for the majority of the past two years. Unless Shelton slims down and changes his training strategy, emphasizing his backpedal and lateral quickness, he's doomed to basically being one-dimensional…far more one-dimensional than Zverev, at that.

  9. Im wearing good headphones and I fee llike the commentators are breathing down my neck during the points. 🤣
