Ryan Routh was found guilty of attempting to assassinate a major presidential candidate, assaulting a Secret Service agent, and 3 federal gun charges. Roth acted as his own attorney. There was a dramatic moment just after the verdict was read. Roth apparently tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen. Courtroom officers stopped him from hurting himself. He now faces life in prison when he’s sentenced on December 18th.
