After getting so many helpful tips here, I thought I’d share our DIY garage sim build in case it helps someone else. We needed to keep space for two cars in the garage, so we went with a SportScreen to create a retractable impact screen without paying for a full retractable sim kit. It takes about 3 minutes each for set-up and tear-down.

Seems uncommon to find hack squat machines in garage gym setups. I dig it.
It looks really cool. I wish I understood more about what you did here because I hope to do something similar in about a year. Though, I don’t think I’ll ever need to park a car there but would like it to be flexible.

Looks great. How did you attach sound proof foams? I needed up stapling them. All the tapes I used didn’t work they started falling.
How much are you charging for rent and can I move in by next month ?!? 🤣
