After getting so many helpful tips here, I thought I’d share our DIY garage sim build in case it helps someone else. We needed to keep space for two cars in the garage, so we went with a SportScreen to create a retractable impact screen without paying for a full retractable sim kit. It takes about 3 minutes each for set-up and tear-down.

This is really well done and I’m going to steal some of these ideas for mine once I start it 😀

That looks great OP. I have a very similar build with the hexagon lights haha. I will share my build one of these days.

  5. Seems uncommon to find hack squat machines in garage gym setups. I dig it.

It looks really cool. I wish I understood more about what you did here because I hope to do something similar in about a year. Though, I don’t think I’ll ever need to park a car there but would like it to be flexible.

Sick garage overall. Do you park your car(s) in the driveway?

Looks absolutely amazing. Can you share what screen you bought and how you made it retractable?

Looks great. How did you attach sound proof foams? I needed up stapling them. All the tapes I used didn’t work they started falling.
