Two of America’s highest profile varsity golfers are once again teeing it up in Palm Beach County this fall.
Charlie Woods, son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, and Kai Trump, eldest grandchild of U.S. President Donald J. Trump, are each playing for the Benjamin School golf team in FHSAA competition.

The talented duo have helped put the Bucs into state championship conversations at the midway point of the Florida golf regular season.
Benjamin’s boys golf team, led by veteran head coach Toby Harbeck, holds a No. 1 state and national ranking as of Sept. 24 according to iWanamaker’s high school rankings.
Woods has carried momentum from a breakout summer into the varsity season. He shot 66 to win the Palm League Invitational and lead the Bucs to a team victory on Sept. 15 at Miami’s Biltmore Golf Course.
The standout junior is far from alone in building the Bucs’ lofty ranking. Woods is flanked by six other golfers ranked in Florida’s top 100, including breakout freshman Clint Lewis, who is Palm Beach County’s top-ranked varsity player so far this season at No. 11 in Florida.

Benjamin’s girls golf team is not far behind their counterparts. The Bucs are the top-ranked girls team in Palm Beach County with a No. 5 ranking in Florida and No. 21 nationally as of Sept. 24.
Senior Kaitlyn Hummers and freshman Reese McMillan, who won the 41st Nicklaus Junior Golf Championship this summer, tied for first place individually at the Palm League Invitational while leading a Bucs sweep of the team titles at the Biltmore.
While Trump, a University of Miami commit, has not won a varsity event this season, she’s yet to finish outside the top 5 in any tournament she’s played.
