Provide Community’s annual Charity Golf Day raised an incredible £10,000 for the Huntington’s Disease Association.
Colleagues and key stakeholders came together at Chelmsford Golf Club for a day of friendly competition on September 12.
The event saw 79 golfers take part in the tournament, making the most of the late summer sunshine and the club’s excellent facilities.
Participants enjoyed a challenging 18-hole round of golf, with additional on-course competitions to add to the fun, followed by dinner.
All proceeds will go directly to support individuals and families affected by Huntington’s disease, a rare, hereditary and life-limiting condition.
“We are thrilled with the success of this year’s Charity Golf Day and the generosity shown by everyone who took part,” said Philip Richards, from Provide Community.
“The funds raised will make a real difference to the Huntington’s Disease Association, which carries out vital work supporting people living with this condition and their loved ones.”
He added: “On behalf of Provide Community, I would like to thank all the teams, sponsors, and volunteers who helped make the day such an enjoyable and impactful event.”
The annual event, which has raised funds Zarach and Ormiston Families in previous years, is part of the CIC’s ongoing commitment to supporting charitable organisations and community initiatives that make a positive impact on people’s lives.
