I Played One of the STEEPEST Golf Courses in BC

Perfect. Nine holes, 18 pastures. This place is really hard. It’s actually one of the tougher places I’ve played. Greens are really slow. Not a perfect tea box, but that’s what I like about this place. It’s a little rough around the edges. We got a gold today. Plus five through nine. Might not sound like a lot now. Might might sound like I suck, which I definitely do. Plus five out here is pretty solid, especially through nine. Uh, and you’ll see why. You know, a lot of difficult T- shots. So, let’s uh see how well we do. All right. So, we got like 220 to the pin. It’s like hidden behind those trees there. So, I really got to hope it goes left. Uh, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. So, I’m kind of hitting like a 200 shot. Okay. Went pretty straight. Yeah, be fine over there. All right. Ball landed here. Little cart path bad boy. So, I’m bringing it. I mean, let’s call this two clubs. I really just want this to get there. Oh, that got there. You know what? Can’t be mad. It did what I wanted, but I didn’t expect to catch it. Clean. Little clean up work. I’m going to go a little eight iron. Get it up there to give us a chance for Vogue. It’s not a shot that’s easy for me, but I want to get it in there. So, got to try it. Especially here. A harder course than you think. Especially on this first hole. I get banged up quite a bit. We’re going to find out. I just hammered that. Hole two. We got 311. I’m just going to hit like kind of like a bunt fivewood down there. Will roll out. There’s sometimes some days you can play it and you’ll hit like an iron that’ll roll out like 200 yards here. So, and you know, I I I don’t have crazy ball speed. I’m so you guys can tell. Going to hit like a smoothie down there. Perfect. Love that. All right, let’s see what we got. All right, we got a great look here. Honestly, this is pretty much right where we wanted to be. Maybe fairway would have been a little bit better. It’s 100 yard shot. Kind of want to hit a spinny one, but I don’t know how much I’m going to get under. Oh, there’s a snack. Yeah, there’s a second ball here. Don’t love this lie. I’m actually think this is like a 3/4 gap. Probably can’t see it on video, but I am leaning quite a bit here. Like leaning down, leaning left a little. So, I’m going hands to shoulders. Just hope we get a good one. I’d love for this to cut a little bit. Kind of chunked it and flubbed it. Look at that green and reggg just like we wrote it up actually. All right. Well, we got a shot for birdie. We’ll take that and this golf ball. Need as many of those as we can get. Trust me. Like I said, green seems slow, but hammered the last one. So, doesn’t mean anything apparently. Especially to me. I’ve been putting well the last little bit. I’ve been playing well. So, especially compared to the last time I last played here. You know what? Can’t be mad at that. But I mean I could be obviously it could could have went in but you know it’s a good par. We need those now. It’s just like we went bogey bogey. So I’ll take that. We got one 153 to the flag 182 to the back. Bunda back there. All right. Hill kicks right up there. So I would love for it to either go right at it or kick off that left hill up there. So let’s see what we get. Yeah, that should be good. Little cut roll up there now. Way shorter than I expected it to be, but that is okay. That was not a long eight iron, but it’s okay. Hit it well. So, good swing. Don’t really have a chipping or putting green here, so coming fresh out the car. You know, hopefully we just put a good one there. All right, that felt pretty good. Not bad. Brooke, we’re a little more right than I was expecting. Got a putt to save. Feel like one thing I always need to remember is to take my time. I’m very bad at not spending enough time on putts reading it. I want to say this is going to be like inside left sink one for the channel. Can we walk it into Oh, okay. You either look really cool or really stupid. But listen, if if these were faster, we all saw that that was going in. That’s what they all say, right? I don’t know. Not bad though. Bogey bogey bogey after three. You know, getting hard to beat that plus five score we set, but this is a hard track. You know, it might not seem like it. This place will bang you up. I feel like no matter what skill level I’ve been, I’ve never really done well here. So, all right. So, we are on hole four here. We got 355 dog leg left. Be fine. I’m just going to kind of hit a 3-wood straight. That was a great one. Woods are putting in some work today. Let’s just throw a dart. All right, that’s pretty dartike. Repair your course and it will repay you. I’m not nearly good enough to notice the difference between having mud on my ball and not for a putt, but doing this anyways. [Music] Okay, hammered it to the hole. Oh jeez. Felt like I had to like smack that thing like I was I don’t know. I got nothing to say. I said hit it hard. That’s all I needed to say. Little chunky, right? All right, let’s try to get this thing close. I guess I’m just going to hit this hard. I don’t know what else to do. I’m not going to read it too much. I know it breaks right to left. Is that off the green? No, it’s for Paw. So, I’m just now realizing that some of the audio is kind of being weird. I don’t know if it’s like when I turn my chest away or what it is. Our first time really doing like a proper video like this. It is what it is. Yeah. Thanks for watching if you’ve made it this far even. I know there’s some a lot of people probably clicked off at the beginning at the first double. So, hole six. Uh 544 yards. Nice little par five. I’m just going to hit a nice little bunty bunty driver. Hopefully, it’s going to like roll down. So, let’s do it. And then cut back. Yes, that is exactly what we wanted. 255 to the pin. I do not got that in me. Chunk it and end up short. I’m happy with that, too. Really down downward lie over there. It’s definitely pushing a bit. Not too bad. What is with all these balls over here? There is another one. That’s That’s plus two balls. Who’s leaving these? It’s like a hard yardage for me. All right. Should be number a little long. Kind of got a nice little spin kick back there. Ball’s got to go through like the jungle here. Another one downhill a little bit. So, I might be able to almost hit this putt normally. kind of see. At this point, I don’t really care how dirty my ball is. I don’t think it matters. I almost want to chip this. I I genuinely think I would have a better chance shipping it. All right. For birdie. Come on. A th This is for real. This is not here last time I played here. All right, we got an interesting T- box here. So, 327 yds dog leg left. Going to try to hit a nice little smooth 200 yard shot. Hope to the golf gods that it goes a little left. Sky ball left field. Where’ my tea go? That was sky to the moon. It’s in play. So, and and it went left. So, it did two of the things we wanted. Kind of okay with this just being short. This lie should kick it left, too. So, yep. Should be good. Let’s go. That was literally all we could ask for right there. I think it breaks just a little bit. I’m going to aim like a cup. Kind of propped up here. Do it. Oh, come on. Not too mad at it. I have no idea. Microphone might be glitching out, but not too mad at it. Kind of knew I was gonna get a good chip there. Hole eight 383. I got to hit this ball up Mount Everest here, so it should be okay. It might be a little too far, right? That’s the bad part. So, we’ll see. We got to go bogey bogey to complete our goal here. So, let’s hope we kind of par up. I kind of hope this is my ball. It is not my ball. How many ball? Like it’s like the third ball. Not a good spot here. I really have to try to hit this like upper left window by that tree and hope I just slice this out of it. Thing is this lie pops a little left. So I really have to like stab pretty good. That is quite literally what I wanted. Maybe didn’t want it to come out so low, but it’s kind of I’m kind of punching it like that. That’s what’s gonna happen. So, we’ll take that. All right. Ended up in a ridiculously good spot. Good par save. We’ll just All right. Here. 510 yard par five. Pretty much downhill. You just really want to hit it straight and hope it rolls. Um, let’s do that. Really happy with my paw on the last hole. Really hope I can follow that up well. Okay. Well, it could have been so so much worse. It could have been so so much better. Going to bunt up on it a bit. First DOD of the channel. Oo. Oh, it could have been a lot worse. Little too much on top of it. That’s okay, though. So, we left oursel a little bit too long. I think I just kind of sting one down there as close as I can. So, let’s hit the stinger. All right, let’s hit a good one. It’s probably going to go I think this will go pretty straight. Just got to make sure not to hit it too hard. Yep. Pretty good. Should roll just down there. Just got to have a good next shot. I’m I’m willing to make bogey here cuz we still complete it, but I would like to have a good score to beat. This is my to my fiance. LeBron James or Michael Jordan? Who’s the goat? LeBron. Say LeBron. Is that because we’re younger that we say that? I find a lot of people our age say LeBron. He’s girly pop. into wind. I’m just going to hit a 110 shot. I hit it good. I I don’t know. It’s the one thing about blind shots. It’s like that could either be pit high or like 10 ft past. Can really find my divot. So, I’m going to aim like two cups out. I think that’s the move here. Same thing. Put a good putt on it. So that is plus four plus 4 through nine. I’m pretty happy with that after the game report. Probably shouldn’t have hit DoD from there for that second shot. Just a little extra tad bit as well: I’m actually a big fan of this course and was a big part of me getting better since it was so cheap! A big part of the conditions here have to do with funding from the city as well!
