Are you taking the p**s? He’s going, “So do you think
they can win the Premier League ever?”
[Tyrrell] Yeah. Oh, f**k off. Mic down. I’m done. Of course. Yeah, I do, yeah. I do. [Ian] Strongly agree. I don’t even know where to start. There’s no… I mean, f**king mashed potato and all
that bulls**t that you hear is madness. “In the hole! Get in the hole!” It’s a 600-yard par
five, you f**king idiot. I actually just wanna borrow the taser, like, from the security guard. Just to let one go per
hole would be amazing. Imagine that. You’ve
got one taser per hole. That’d be awesome. How good, right between the eyes. Have it. You’ve actually thought this through. It’s not heckling. It’s just complete and utter
embarrassing stupidity. We don’t get that at
the Open Championship. You don’t get it anywhere. Like, it’s only in America the stupidness comes out. This is just a UK channel, right? Perfect. I was gonna say, you’ve gone to town. Ugh, f**k. I mean, it’s just so annoying. It’s annoying. It’s like,
there’s no need for it, right? Our fans, when they come and watch golf, are very respectful. I’m not completely
dissing the American fans, ’cause the atmosphere
in America is amazing. I think the understanding of a good shot- He just roasted them. “No,
I’m not dissing you, really.” Yeah, f**k ’em. There are a number of times in the States where you can hit four-iron to, say, 15 feet, and that’s a great shot, but no one up at the green’s clapped, and you’re kinda like, “Oh.” You thought you’d miss the green. You can’t see where the ball’s finished. You get up there and you’re like, “F**k me, it’s a tough crowd.” It’s like you walk up on
the green and you’re like you actually wanna give yourself a clap. Was that not good enough? You’re not gonna get anyone agreeing on this table, are you? I don’t think you get many
people agreeing, full stop. I mean, we’ve been good, and then fallen away the
last couple of years. Yeah, everyone had the violin
out for you last season with the injuries that you had and… Are you taking the p**s? He’s going, “So do you think
they can win the Premier League ever?”
[Tyrrell] Yeah. Oh, f**k off. Mic down. I’m done. Of course. Yeah, I do, yeah. I do. [Ian] Strongly agree. Yeah, I mean, if we can strengthen the team, yeah. I think we’ll have a great
season this year, so f**k off. [Tyrell] Oh my. Gosh, that outfit that you wore, that- [Ian] The gold one? The goldy… It was an orange- [Ian] I’ve still got it. It was disgusting. You had some rascal ones
at the Open, didn’t you? No, I wouldn’t say it
was the most disgusting. It was disgusting as I took it off, ’cause it was 100 degrees
in India when I wore it. It was nuclear hot. I felt
like I was radiating inside it. I feel like you deserved
it for how bad it was. You deserved, like,
some sort of punishment. I missed the cut by a shot. I was furious. I’ve actually still
got the two new outfits that I didn’t wear Saturday and Sunday, which I found last year still in a box. I’m not even telling you. Well, hopefully, it
couldn’t have got any worse. Cor! I’m 85% agreeing. Jack [Nicklaus] was pretty good too. Probably in the way that he changed golf. In terms of major records, Jack obviously has won more, but, yeah, I mean, I think
how Tiger changed golf and the records that he went on to set, he was unbelievable. I mean, Poults played
with him when he was- I mean, I’d happily go there if you said the best golfer I’ve ever
seen and played with. [Ian] That would be there. [Tyrrell] You’d not put it there? It’s not even a question.
On another stratosphere. The shots he was capable of hitting, the shots I’ve seen him hit, never seen anyone else hit it like that. I’m struggling to think of a sport that would be much harder. The only reason I didn’t go strongly agree is ’cause the ball don’t move, does it? Like, it’s hard, but it’s not like it’s coming
at you at 140 miles an hour. I don’t think either of us would be playing if that was the case. Uh, nope. I would say golf is harder
than those sports mentally. What about snooker? The only argument with golf- [Ian] Snooker’s hard. Yeah, the only argument with golf is compared to tennis and maybe cricket – I don’t watch much cricket – so I think there’s a longer period of time where you can just be
in your own thoughts, certainly after a bad shot, whereas tennis, it’s
like if you miss a shot, you miss a forehand down
the line, you might see- [Ian] There’s another one coming. You might see the lads smash
the racket or whatever. That doesn’t make him a
bad person, I will add. Funny you talking about
smashing something. [Tyrrell] Yeah, yeah. But then they’ve got
such a quick turnaround before the next point, so you
don’t have time to be angry, whereas golf, especially if
you’re playing with slow players and it’s a slow round- You’ve got two minutes, three minutes of- [Tyrrell] You’ve got, like, 10
minutes till your next shot. You’re playing in slow groups. I know. [Tyrrell] Ah! 147. Yeah, can I go that way? A little switch-up. I mean, a 147 is seriously
impressive and seriously hard. I’m not saying a hole-in-one’s not hard, ’cause a hole-in-one is hard, but you see- A hole-in-one can be on a range of different
yardages, though, so… I mean, I love watching the darts, and it seems like I’m always, when those boys chuck that first 180 in, they come more frequently than a 147.
Yeah. A 147 doesn’t happen, in my opinion, as much as frequent hole-in-ones and as much as nine-darters. I certainly think that a hole-in-one and a 147 is a lot harder than a nine-darter. Well, loosely. This is a- [Ian] Who won last time? Yeah, I’m actually sad
you brought this up. Horrible if I don’t go, “Ooh.” Come on then. [Ian] Well, I’m going there. This is horrendous! [Tyrrell] I would go here, but I’m not moving here to be- Disrespectful? Potentially. That’s probably a good word. I don’t want that to come across that way. I think that there’s so many guys that have been
amazing for Team Europe to single one out and say
that they were the best. There’s so many guys that have
had amazing Ryder Cup careers and amazing moments in the Ryder Cup. It’d be hard to just say that
that one person is the best. That’s my- It’s really easy. There is no individual in team, and this will never be an individualistic question like that ’cause that’s not fair. Seve [Ballesteros], in my
opinion, has been the best, the most emotional, the most passionate, the most someone that’s driven that team for two decades when we were struggling, so it’s hard to put that
anywhere on that side of the line because that’s team right there. Cheers! Cheers. Hope you enjoyed it. I can imagine getting a
replica wrestling belt saying ‘darts world champion’ and just put it around my waist. Belt here, belt there,
belt here, belt over here. We’ll be walking around like
tag team champions, won’t we?

  1. What are these lot smoking, football and MMA are tougher sports than golf, even basketball is tougher than golf, all you gotta do is hit a golf ball into a hole far away, that's nowhere near as difficult as football, MMA, or even basketball, where you need to have an extremely high level to skill to be one of the all-time greats, a level of skill which is SIGNIFICANTLY higher than golf

  2. To be fair my least favorite thing about golf as American is 100% the average American golfer.

Definitely met some great randoms, but most people I see my age (36) and younger are basically a reflection of the downfall of America.

  3. Hole‑in‑one (Golf) For professionals: ~1 in 2,500–3,000 par‑3 attempts. For amateurs: ~1 in 12,000–15,000. Tiger Woods has 3 in ~5,600 par‑3s (≈1 in 1,900).
9‑darter (Darts) On the PDC Tour: ~1 in 1,400–3,000 legs, depending on player and event. Phil Taylor’s career rate was about 1 in 800 legs1.
147 break (Snooker) Ronnie O’Sullivan has 15 in ~14,000 frames (≈1 in 867). Across the pro tour, the rate is similar.

  4. In terms of most difficult sport. Combat Sports or even F1 where there is an actual risk of getting seriously hurt or death along with the skill factor
