The Vice Pro Jr. and the Vice Tour Jr. are two new golf balls from Vice Golf. With prices of the Titleist Pro V1, Taylormade TP5, and others completely out of control, Companies are looking at making Junior options for kids to help out the parents wallet. The Tour Jr is the soft 2 piece model with 50 compression, and the Pro Jr is a three piece cast urethane that promises check up and control.
Bridgestone also quietly released a Jr ball as well. The Electron. Who wins the battle of the Junior series? Let’s find out!

What is up my fellow golf ball addicts? Welcome back to the channel and we are reviewing some junior golf balls today. Actually, two from Vice and one from Bridgestone. Let’s dive right in. Guys, thank you so much for watching, liking, and commenting. All the free stuff that really helps the channel algorithm out. And then also, thank you so much for becoming members. We have a membership here and it just starts at a dollar a month. Most people don’t even notice a dollar out of their, you know, bank account every month, but it really helps me provide more content to you. So, thank you everyone who’s done that. So, you know, I’ve been doing this for 5 years and I have not seen a lot of, you know, junior golf balls before, but after about a year ago, all of a sudden, they kind of started popping up here and there and I was like, “Oh, okay.” And it’s a great idea. I like it. A lot of these golf balls partner with like first te and the whole goal is essentially you know one to get the golf club in kids hands which is super important. I’m I’m all for that. It’s it opens the door to college scholarships and you know I mean let’s be honest you know we know the impact golf has and so when I think about those kids one day growing up and getting to experience the club throwing and the frustration and the despair, I’m all for that. All jokes aside, this is actually a great idea for a golf ball because uh you know, a lot of these kids are I don’t know if you know this, but kids are impressionable and when kids look on TV and kids see, oh, wait a minute, this, you know, this guy’s playing a prov, this guy’s playing a TP5X, that’s what I want to play. Yeah, that happens a lot. And unfortunately, you know, those golf balls are not only not intended for them, uh, but they’re very hard on parents’ wallets. And so, you know, companies like Vice and Bridgestone came up with this idea of, hey, let’s get a golf ball that is specifically in partnership with, you know, youth groups, whatever, and let’s get a design for a golf ball that’s actually going to help, you know, young kids learn and grow the game. Now, I imagine these are going to have some fun colors and fun design because, let’s be honest, you’re trying to invoke the youth. You’re trying to grab their attention. All right, let’s get into pricing and design. The first golf ball we have in this lineup is the Vice Tour Jr., which is pretty cool. It’s a two-piece 50 compression uh Surlin model golf ball and it comes at a price point of $20 a dozen, but of course with that Vice discount, you can get it down to $15.99 a dozen uh if you buy five or more boxes, which is really, really cool. Uh it’s a very good price and it’s a lot easier on the wall than those Pro V1s are for parents. I can promise you. Then if we get into the Bridgestone Electron, we are looking around $21 a dozen. Available exclusively at Dick Sporting Goods and Golf Galaxy. Uh, you know, Bridgestone kind of is innovative when it comes to that, so it doesn’t surprise me they’re here. And then the last model we have is another Vice. This is the Vice Pro Jr., and it is a threepiece urethane golf ball around the 70 compression mark. And that’s kind of interesting because it leads me to believe it could be for the average swinger or just a normal guy. Uh, but this comes at a price point of $39.99 a dozen. And yes, you can still get it down to 35 a dozen if you do the five boxes or more. Uh, but that’s substantial. That’s double the price of some of these other golf balls. So, I mean, you know, I would expect it to be light years better. We’ll definitely test that. Now, let’s get into the design. Now, if we look at these three golf balls here as far as the front logos, now you’ll notice the Vice Tour there on the far left. That’s actually really, really fun. You know, this overinflated kind of bike tire font uh with the colors. You got orange on one side, blue on the other. It cool. It’s unique. It’s different. I mean, it it looks cool. It would grab my attention. I think it would grab a lot of kids attentions, too. I’d love to see that. Then if we look at the Bridgestone Electron, it has that B in the middle which is iconic, but they’re actually different colors. You know, every sleeve in the the dozen pack will have a different color. You got orange, purple, blue, and green. And then if we look at the uh on the side here, this is something that Bridgestone does. They have certain quality traits like character, integrity, you know, honesty, stuff like that that are printed on each ball, you know, that’s a little bit different. So, that’s kind of neat. It’s nice little touch. Um, but then we get into the Vice Pro Jr., As you can see there on the right, it’s the same font. It looks great. It actually looks a little bit more classier because it’s see-through. It’s not that bright color. Uh, still a great design though, and it does kind of give off that vibe. Then when we get into the alignment tools of these golf balls, as you can see from the Vice Tour Junior, it’s very difficult to see, but I like it. It’s unique. It’s got the bubbles. I mean, I don’t think it would be great for lining your ball up, but as far as again, just having that design to get kids attention, it got my attention. I like it. Then if we look at the Bridgestone, now this is where I’m really disappointed. the Electron. I mean, like, you can barely see that, you know? And and here’s my issue with that, right? I know you guys know I’m an alignment tool snob, but something I will puff out my chest and stand on my ground with is that kids need to be using alignment tools. If you’re learning the game and you’re learning that, you need to know from a young age. You need to be taught, okay, did I hit the putt perfect and I just misread the green or did I mishit the putt a little bit and well that’d be a lot of bit but mish putt a little bit and instead, you know, I read had the green red right, but I just mishit it. I pushed it. I pulled it. That’s what the alignment tool does. So, I know there’s a lot of you adults out there that’ll puff out your chest and say, “Oh, I don’t use it. I putt way better without it.” Whatever. You’re a grown adult. You can do whatever you want, my friend. God bless. But kids need to be learning that from a young age. They need to learn, you know, whether or not they’re hitting putts correctly. And that’s a huge tool, even if it is just, you know, greenside or, you know, in practice that they need to have. So anyway, that’s my TED talk for the day. Then we get into the Vice Pro. And as you can see, I don’t really care for that alignment tool at all. Most my golf ball addicts know that when it has the separation like that and the words in the middle, good luck lining up your ball with that. Yeah, we can’t even see it. So I I’m disappointed. I wish they had had a little bit better alignment tools. You know, again, you’re getting kids in the game. you’re teaching them. It would have been cool to even just see a thick black line, but I guess they’re going to be using Sharpie for now. All right, let’s get out to the chipping and putting green and let’s see how we do around there. Oh, just I mean I Yeah. Uh no feeling in the hands at all. If I had my eyes closed, I wouldn’t have even known I was hitting a golf ball. There was also no rotation on it whatsoever. Let’s try again. You know, I notice I’ve kind of started to pull all my chips left. I kind of need to aim a little more right here. There we go. Oh, okay. We’re getting closer now. There’s no rotation. That’s the problem is I mean it it feels bouncy ballish. It’s kind of fun to hit. You know, it has a nice consistent little flight, but there’s just no rotation or stopping power. So, it’s going to be bump and runs only. If you got to get that grip, this will not work. [Music] Oh, okay. Now, hold on. I heard a click. Okay. Now, that’s not right. That is not right. How dare you? Okay. Kind of a soft landing. All right. I still am intrigued by that sound because it’s definitely more of a medium sound. It’s not low or quiet. I actually couldn’t hear it. Um, that’s interesting. It is different. I kind of like it a little bit better as far as like what I’ve been out here testing all day as far as these soft two-piece golf balls. That’s a little different. And I kind of like that. The Pro, now remember, this one’s more expensive. This one is a three-piece urethane. So, I know we’ve been testing a lot of two-piece, more bouncy balls lately, but no, I do expect this one to have some tug, some ripback. I expect it to maybe jump around on the green a little bit. Let’s see what we’re working with. Okay, nice little click. Okay. So, yeah, that’s Well, huh. I mean, I liked the the the rotation. I liked the bite a little bit, but then it just firmly released past the hole, so I didn’t like that. Uh, let’s try it again here. Yeah, I just don’t like the firm release. Uh, let’s try one more time. Just make sure I’m not hitting a little behind it. Beautiful. Yeah, I can’t get over that. I mean, it it does have rotation and when it hits, it does have some tug back, you can see, but the second it hits on that second one, it just like the tread I call it the treadmill effect. It’s like as soon as it hits there, it’s just like it’s on a treadmill and just takes off. Um, I’m going to run that back just to make sure. I’m going to try to hit him a little softer now. See, look at that, guys. Look at that. It’s It’s off the green. I mean, that that ball was a low spinner, which those usually, as you guys know, are my highest spinning. It hit right here and still rolled all the way to the back of the green. I mean, I can’t have that on the course. I just can’t. Beautiful. Right there. Beautiful. Get in. Oh my gosh, guys. It’s like It’s like if you took the treadmill and just bumped it up to like 15 20 mph like you were running or sprinting on it. It’s just That’s disappointing. And for a three-piece urethane, I expected a little more. H completely dead. Like dead dead, guys. I mean like uh let’s try again. Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I It feels marshmallowy. Like too much, you know? I like bouncy ball. I like boing. You know, that’s fun. But, you know, I don’t even know how to describe it. I That’s terrible. But I’m sorry. But like when it feels like it absorbs into the putter and it actually stays there for a second, it’s too marshmallowy and I don’t care for it. Um, I bet the blade will be a lot better. But yeah, that’s not my cup of tea. Uh, nothing against that, but that’s just it’s so soft. Zero feedback, zero sound, zero feeling. If I if I told you to close your eyes and I said, “Here, just do a putting motion. No ball.” And then I snuck that ball in and you puted it, you wouldn’t even know. It would be completely And I mean that. Um, now next up we have the Bridgestone. Let’s see what we got here. Okay, not bad. Pretty good roll for the most part. It definitely is soft. I don’t feel it in the hands, but not as bad as the previous. Yeah, the roll is not true, but again, it comes off with authority. It kind of reminds me of the Volulvix we just got done testing. Like having the bouncy ball, it springs off the putter. That’s really nice. I could get used to this. Yeah, that’s nice. Look at that. Easy. Put it down. I mean, I thought I mean, golf’s an easy game, guys. You just get the ball in the hole. Yeah, it’s, you know, it’s it’s a nine out of 10 roll. There’s no feeling in the hands whatsoever. There’s no sound. It’s completely dead. Um, it doesn’t marshmallow like the first ball did, but, you know, it’s it’s kind of like eating craft mac and cheese, like having two bowls of mac and cheese. You have the craft that’s in the box, you know, and don’t get me wrong, it works, you know. Yeah, it’s mac and cheese. Oh, I remember when I was a kid, I used to eat this. But then someone hands you one from like a steakhouse, you know, like if you get a a ribeye and they it comes with a side of like homemade mac and cheese and you eat that and you go, “Oh my gosh, like this is what mac and cheese could be.” Yeah, that’s it reminds me of the craft. Like it’s it’s okay, you know, like yeah, you know, it works, I guess, but it’s uninspiring. There’s nothing behind it really that I like. So, let’s try the blade. Maybe that’ll, you know, because the blade is skinnier, has more feedback, maybe something will change. Oh, I like that. I like that. It it it it um it feels a little bit more bouncy ball like opposed to marshmallow. Yeah, that crisp. Yeah, I like the feel a lot better. That’s a lot better. Excellent. Again, I love that. The blade putter’s been cooking lately. How about that? I love to see it. Oh, but I like it with the blade, too. Wow. Okay. Oh, the click. I too much. Okay. So, again, really bouncy ball. A lot of spring off the putter. Like, I’m having to try to make this adjustment. And it’s difficult for me because usually with the blade putter, you know, I got to put a little extra on it. Not the case here. And it did get there. Wow. Okay. So, again, once you get used to that adjustments, it’s not bad. Again, the feel is excellent on that. I love how it comes off. It has some butter. It has some crispiness. Excellent. Both those golf balls impressed me. So now look, I I’ll be real with you, Vice Pro. Junior. Vice Pro Junior. I’ll just call you Junior. Listen here, Junior. I’m getting real tired of being disappointed. I want to see something great here. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Not for me. Not for me, everybody. It’s just it’s um Yeah. Hold on one more and then then I got another great analogy for you. Yeah. I I just I Cool. It went in the hole. Okay. So, another analogy. You know how mac and cheese like sometimes you have the craft mac and cheese? That’s you know the Yeah, we just talked about it. And then you know how like your friend her mom went to always save and they had like box O noodles and it was like an always Yeah. That’s what that felt like. Now we’re not even at craft level anymore. We’re at like discount dollar store. It’s expired, so they give you a little bit like 50% off, so it’s like 40 cents for the box of noodles. Guys, I just got to be honest with you. I hope the numbers are a lot better for Junior here because I I just don’t like anything about it greenside. I mean, I I can’t find one positive as far as, you know, it didn’t it didn’t check up. Not a big fan of the feel. I mean, the roll is okay, I guess, but if that’s your biggest bright spot, I’m a little nervous. Wow. Just a tiny bit of crisp, but I’ll be honest, really soft, really marshmallowy, but boy, it felt like it had a lot of explosiveness. I mean, it felt like that golf ball went forever. All right, I got to try for a little mishit here. Those first two were pure. Let’s see how a mis hit feels. Very solid. I would I’d give it a four out of five on the mit feel. It’s really good. Um, now when it comes to the feel as far as being a five out of five, there’s two types of five out of fives I give. Right. The first one is, you know, it has that like feedback, that torque crispness. You know, it’s like, you know, a lot of you guys will hit a Prov1 and feel that way or maybe a TP5 or a ZAR, whatever, and you feel that. There’s also another one. If a golf ball is really bouncy ball like and has a lot of explosiveness off, but also has just a little tiny bit of feedback and crisp, I’ll give that the five out of five, too. I just don’t like it when it’s all bouncy ball with no feedback. Like kind of like a marshmallow. That’s not what that is. That feels great. So, I do give it the five out of five. [Music] Same exact thing with the Bridgestone. I mean, almost to the tea. I almost can’t tell them apart. Explosive. Uh that tiny little bit of feedback, just enough firm impress in the hands. Explodes off the club. Maybe not as much explosiveness, but boy, it’s close. It’s really close. I’m going to mish hit this one, but I imagine it’s going to be exactly the same. Yes, absolutely. Four out of five. Excellent. All right, last but not least, the Vice Pro Junior, the three-piece. Let’s see what we’re working with. Yeah. So, when it comes to the pure feel, I will give it the uh three out of five. It It almost feels like it heard me talking about those first two golf balls, and it it’s almost like it’s like, “Hey, I can be that, too. I promise.” But it’s like not there. You know what I mean? It feels like it’s just trying to be that. Like, it’s putting on a fake mask. Um it’s okay. I don’t really care for it that much. Three out of five seems appropriate. When it comes to the mishit though, ouch. I mean, ouch. I felt that in the hands pretty good. Um, you know, I’m going to give it a one out of five on mishit feel only because with it being 70 compression, with it being for juniors, I would expect it to be pretty soft. I would expect it to be a little bit more forgiving on mits. And that stung my hands. I mean, I’m going to try one more just to verify it. But holy cow, cuz I don’t want to give it a one unfairly. Okay, maybe it was just a little egregious. I’ll bump it up to a two. All right, let’s talk some data. Let’s start, of course, with the 50 yard pitch, backspin RPM, and we’re looking at So, look at the two-piece golf balls coming in hot. I love to see that. So, you know, your basic two-piece vice tour junior there, 8352, an extremely respectable number. Um, you know, and I do see this with two-piece golf balls. You know, a lot of the time if they are softer compression on a 50-yard pitch, if the golf ball absorbs into the club quite a bit, it does grip those grooves pretty well. And as you can see, that’s was the result. really healthy midlaunch. 871 is slightly above average. I mean, just barely, but hey, just barely counts. It’s there. It’s in the green. And then if we look at the three-piece urethane, you know, this is why I tell people all the time, I’ll talk more about this in a second, but uh actually in the red 7571, a little bit lower, kind of a lower midlaunch. So disappointing again on the Vice Pro Jr., but the other two, I got to say, we’re off to a great start. Yeah, I talked about it last video and, you know, I’ll I’ll mention it again. Listen, if you are new to the channel and you’re still learning about golf balls, if one of the things you have in your mind is two-piece just doesn’t spin as much. You if you want any type of spin at all, you got to go with a three-piece, you urethane, yada yada yada. That was true 8 years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago. Fortunately, now that’s not the case anymore. The the technology being used in making golf balls is so much better. Uh we’ve improved so much. And now time and time again, all the time, I see two-piece golf balls either spin more or just the same as urethane. Now, depending on the club, of course, but like 50 yard pitch even, as you can see, you have two two-piece golf balls that are in the green above 8,000 RPM, all all is well. Life is good. And then you have the Vice Pro Junior, the three-piece urethane at 7,500, which is very, very, very disappointing. I mean, I’m spending double the amount. That’s where I figured I would really see that difference. And as from the green test, we didn’t see a lot of difference there either. So, I’m already getting a little nervous about this pro. Uh, but we’ll see. It’s just a yellow flag right now. It hasn’t turned into a red. So, let’s move on. This is the pitching wedge we’re looking at. There are some really healthy numbers here. I like this a lot. Starting with the Tour Jr. 98.1 is one of the best I’ve seen this year. Uh, smash factor is excellent. Actually, smash factors across the board are great. Uh, when it comes to spin now, all these golf balls have kind of evened up, but ironically enough, it’s still the Vice Pro Jr. that has the least of the three. It also has the least ball speed of the three. It’s the only one not in the green, as you can see. Um, now granted, it still has a green smash factor, but still, it’s definitely, you know, the low point of the three. It’s the weakest link. Then, when we go into the launch angle, you know, we’ve got kind of a low, mid, a mid, and actually a high. So, the Pro Junior launched high of all things. That’s very strange, but okay. Fair enough. Um, and then when we look at distance, I mean, you know, awesome. I gained like five yards, I gained two yards, and then, you know, average. Uh, which works. I mean, don’t get me wrong. You know, it’s a shame, actually, now that I look at the Pro Junior, it’s really not bad, but it’s just overshadowed by the other two. The other two are just so phenomenal that it just kind of makes it look a little worse than it is. All three of these are acceptable. All three of these are either, you know, good to great. You know, I would take them. So, that’s a good start. Let’s continue on. The Vice Pro, you know, it’s not bad. You know, I know the spin was red, but it’s only just barely into the red. But it’s a little disappointing. I mean, it’s $20 more. It’s double the price as these other two. And I mean, starting off so far in two categories, those two golf balls that are two-piece and way cheap have beaten it. Now, that yellow flag is starting to look like a red flag a little bit. So, let’s move on to the 7ir. Let’s see if it’s any bit any better. Maybe this is where now we get into long clubs, driver. Maybe this is where the the Pro Junior will really stand out. seven iron. We’re looking at again more fantastic numbers from the Tour Jr. as well as the Bridgestone. Excellent ball speed. Uh really great smash factor. Uh you know, distance as you can see there. I mean, kind of a I’m not really sure what to call that. I mean, the Bridgestone does come in at about 3 to four yards of gained, but when we look at the Vice Tour, uh that is insanity. I’ll talk more about that in just a second. Obviously, a lot of that distance comes from that spin number, which is laughable. Again, I’ll talk about that in a second. We have a midlaunch, kind of a mid- high launch, and then a mid low launch, and then a mid- high launch again. So, kind of all in that mid-range, which is perfectly fine by me. It’s really helping out. You know, it’s optimal for me. Um, yeah, you know, those numbers are good when it comes to the first two. The Pro Junior is in the red when it comes to distance. You know, it’s not it’s average and it’s average, but again, is that what we’re looking for in this ball at this point? I don’t know. Yeah. Sorry, I got to make sure that number’s right. Okay. So, um, okay. Let’s start with the ball speed. You know, when it comes to the Bridgestone, when it comes to the vice tour, uh, yeah, th those numbers are fantastic. It explodes off the club. It’s so fun to hit these. Uh, the Bridgestone has a nice medium spin. It’s almost in the green, actually. So, really good there. I also gained distance, so I gained three yards, gained ball speed, had an excellent spin, excellent checkup. Uh, the Bridgestone kind of clearly wins that category there by far. Uh, the Vice Tour, it’s hilarious. 178.3 on total distance, 172.9. So, you’re looking at 6 yards of roll out. 3500 spin is by far the lowest I’ve ever seen in my life when it comes to like a 7 iron. I mean, that is nuts, you know. And it was so funny when I got done testing it and I was going through and editing it. At first, I thought it was like a mistake and I thought, “Oh, I must have mish hit that one. I must have missed.” And then I’m like, “Wait a minute. The highest I saw was 3,800 out of 16 17 shots. And I was like, “Oh, I mean, so if you are, you know, a young child or you five, six years old and maybe you don’t need a lot of spin, you just need as much distance and, you know, bounce as possible, that could work. But for any of us golf ball addicts who are looking at these and thinking like, oh, hey, can I play that 3500?” You to watch your ball hit the front of the green and then roll to the back would be hard, especially hole after hole. you know, if you have to use a seven iron a lot. So, kind of laughable. I love the distance. It is what it is. The Pro Junior. I mean, it’s not it’s not terrible. It’s not bad necessarily, but it’s just eh average. And, you know, for that price difference, I wouldn’t expect average. Let’s get into the driver we’re looking at. So, it looks like there’s some overcompression starting to happen. Uh, you know, when we get to the Vice Tour and the Bridgestone, they actually still held their own. Those are, you know, yellow numbers. They’re average. You know, a lot of the time when I overcompress these really low compression golf balls, a lot of the time what I see is I start to lose distance. Here, I just kind of shot my average, which I’m okay with. You know, there are some courses and sometimes I’m playing golf, I don’t mind just having average driver distance, and I want to focus more on the irons. And these actually are a great example of that. Now, that Bridgestone in the middle there, I did swing a little slower. So, the smash factor is much, much better. I think it’s the clear winner of the three. Not by a lot, but I think definitely because the smash factor, it’s the clear winner. Um, distance wise on the first two are perfectly, you know, close and then the launch angle is exactly the same, which I like kind of getting that a little bit mid high launch. That’s nice. That’s optimal for me. What I don’t like though is the Vice Pro Jr., you know, this was kind of the last harrah for it. You know, this was the last chance it had to really separate itself from the pack. you know, these yellow flags have now not only turned into red flags, but the red flags are on fire and they’re drifting out to sea. Uh I just don’t see anything at this point. I don’t think the Vice Pro Jr. has won a single category in any of this stuff. And with the price point it is, you know, it’s going to be really difficult to get a recommendation from me, unfortunately. But the good news is when you come out with two models, 50%, you know, you only have to have one of them hit. And it looks like the Vice Tour Jr. might be kind of a winner, you know, at least for some people. So that’s good to see. Yeah, it’s amazing how consistent this has all been. It really is. Uh, you know, through every single category we’ve had the Vice Tour, a two-piece 50 compressions, you know, golf ball along with the Electron, another two-piece soft. I’m not sure the the, you know, at the time of this, I’m not sure the compression, but very soft. Just battling it out, fighting each other back and forth. And meanwhile, the Pro Jr. is over in the corner. I’m not going to say eating glue because it’s been average, but he’s just over in the corner just kind of, you know, chilling. Looks at his watch every once in a while. He’s just there. You know, he’s not part of the function really. He’s just there. He’s just hanging out. He’s a designated driver. He’s just waiting for everything to be over. It’s disappointing because when you have that price point, you’re going to charge us more. I wanted to do something well. You know, I thought it was going to be greenside. No. Then I thought 50-yard pitch. No. And now here we are. So, the Vice Pro Jr., there’s kind of some red flags here for sure. The other two though, although I did expect to overcompress them, and I finally kind of was, they still held their own. They still got average. A lot of yellow in there. All right, let’s get to the accuracy and dispersion. And let’s check those out and see how those are. All right, so starting with the Tour Junior, looking at the 50-yard pitch. Excellent. I love to see that. That’s one of the best I’ve seen this year from the 50-yard pitch. Nine out of 10 are just in a tight little circle. Then we move to the pitching wedge and again, you know, it’s right along the line there. You know, there’s great distance control. There’s just one pull left, one maybe slight push right, but other than that, eight out of 10 are just like darts. Seven iron is a little all over the place. The distance control is phenomenal. But as far as left and right, you know, there might be some human element in there. I might not have had a great day with the 7iron, but overall, I still like the distance control I had. It’s very, very consistent. And driver’s no different. All those are in the fairway. All those are very close to one another. Uh this is a golf ball you put down and you have total faith that you’re going to hit that green and hit the fairway with even though you might sacrifice just a bit of distance with the driver. Uh it’s well worth it considering what I got for the dispersion. Okay, so when it comes to the Electron, don’t be fooled by that red line. That’s just my far left hit. That’s just really unfortunate. That’s where I took the screenshot. I apologize. Looking at the 50-yard pitch, very accurate. There is a little bit of distance control kind of issue. I’d say that’s average, but when it comes to the actual accuracy, it’s phenomenal. pitching wedge is just I mean look at that consistency. That’s incredible. Love to see that. Then we get into the seven iron and I’ll be completely honest with you guys, this might be the best seven iron I have seen all year. I mean just plain and simple as far as consistency, as far as accuracy, both are a five out of five when it comes to that seven iron. I mean, you guys know what my seven iron usually looks like. This looks like a pitching wedge, you know what I mean? So just absolutely nuts. driver. Again, there’s one pull, but if you take away that one pull, the rest of those are all in the fairway, and they’re all extremely consistent. Um, I I I don’t think it’s a reach to call this a five out of five when it call when it comes to the consistency. Accuracy. You could make an argument for a four out of five, but I’ll be real, that seven iron has got me so geeked that I’m I’m just going to give it the five out of five. I love that. That’s awesome. I don’t see that very often. Well, I do got to give credit where credit is due. When it comes to the pro junior, I haven’t had really anything positive to talk about, but that has now changed. When we look at the 50-yard pitch, you know, look at those six or seven that are right there in that tiny little I mean, that’s like fivefooters all day. I love that. Then we get into the pitching wedge, and that’s one of the best pitching wedges I’ve seen in a long time. I mean, seriously, that that is tight. We get into the seven iron, and it may not be as good as the Bridgestone, but my goodness, that’s an incredible seven iron. Look at the consistency. you look at the accuracy, uh, especially if you take away the farthest pull and the farthest push. I mean, you’ve got eight out of 10 that are just right there. All birdie opportunities. Now, when it comes to the driver, I’m more impressed with the accuracy than I am the consistency. Consistency is kind of all over the place. If you look at my furthest compared to my shortest, however, when it comes to accuracy, not only are all of those in the fairway, they’re all like in the middle of the fairway. I mean, they’re not even coming close to any rough. So, I love that. I got to say that’s definitely the best part about this golf ball. It’s the best I’ve seen and I got to give it some credit. That’s really, really good. All right, let’s talk some durability now. Let’s start with the Vice Tour Jr. Looking at this, as you can see, there is some paint starting to come off on the logo. Not too bad, though. But right there next to the paint, if I feel that, there is a lot of sandpaper. It is very rough to the touch. Um, I would definitely question whether or not this SC golf ball could continue to be putted or hit in the air, but it’s not terrible by any means. I would give it a 6 out of 10. I do think that if you are an average player like me, I think that you’ll get through at least most of a round with it. When it comes to, you know, children though, if you know, a seven-year-old kid’s hitting this golf ball, I think that they could actually get most I probably multiple rounds out of it to be honest cuz you’re just not swinging hard enough. Uh, so that is a possibility. But yeah, you know, six out of 10, it’s not bad. It could be a little bit better. Then we look at the Bridgestone. And what’s cool about the Bridgestone is, I mean, if I look all over this golf ball, I don’t see anything. I mean, it looks really, really good. If I get into the fine fine detail, I can see some tiny little sand marks where I just didn’t clean the ball. But, I mean, other than that, if I feel this thing, you know, I I I I have felt this thing for what feels like 10 to 15 minutes, and I just don’t feel anything. I got to give it the 10. I do. I think that it’s close to a nine. It’s kind of that in between, but it’s just so good after 80 to 85 shots. I I think this could last forever if you know a young person is playing it. Me, I think it could last even a round and a half, maybe even two rounds. We’ll see. I think a 10 out of 10 is well deserving there for sure. Then we get to the Vice Pro Junior. Uh this actually looks pretty good, too. Um you know, looking all over, it looks great. There is some minor scuffing. I do see some gouges. Uh nothing too terrible, though. Uh there’s a little bit of sandpaper, but yeah, that’s an eight out of 10. That’s really good. So, okay. It did something decent. That’s good, right? Yeah. Okay. Okay, final thoughts. Uh, so when it comes to the Vice Tour and the Bridgestone, both of these fight out really well. They’re fun to hit. The fun design of the Vice is really cool. There’s a main difference though, right? If you’re someone who when you get to your 8 iron, 7 iron, 5 iron, all that stuff, you do need some ample checkup, the Bridgestone’s going to be the one you want to go with for sure. I mean, it actually held its own. It still had it had I think the best driver performance even just by a tiny bit but it had the best driver performance. It had the best seven iron performance. Now Vice Tour did have the best 50-yard pitch and pitching wedge performance. It’s kind of a wash in that regard, but the 3500 spin from the Vice uh distance ball. It it the Vice Tour, you know, excuse me. I I just it’s almost kind of laughable. It’s kind of funny like the distance I got with it insane. 14 yards above my average. But, you know, is that actually usable on a course? I don’t know. Maybe it is great for, you know, younger kids, but I don’t know if you would benefit from that. Maybe some of you would. Maybe some of you are like, “No, Nick, I I don’t care about spin. I got to get all the distance help I can. You know, I had shoulder surgery and I can’t.” And if that’s you, here you go, my friend. Now, Bridgestone, this is interesting because the Bridgestone Electron is kind of what I wish the E6 was. The E6, my main beef with it, it’s always been a good golf ball and I have nothing against it, but I’ve always been like, man, I just wish it was more explosive. I wish, you know, when you hit it, it had that bouncy ball and you just you felt like, yeah, I got all that. If you’re someone who’s played the E6 and you’re kind of like, man, it’s it’s great. I just wish it was a little more springier, you know, I wish it had a little bit more pop off the club. Here you go. These are nice. This is really nice. I love the performance. This is a good golf ball. It really is, and I’m very surprised by it. Then when we get to the Vice Pro Junior, I I wish I could be, you guys know I love Vice and I wish that I could sugarcoat this in a way, but I just can’t. Until we got to the durability, there was nothing that was even really that above average of a performance. I mean, when it comes to the performance metrics in general, you know, it’s $40 a dozen, which let’s be honest, that’s expensive, especially for a kids golf ball. and to not have anything that I can, you know, put up and say, “Hey, you should spend that extra money because this, I mean, there’s not even enough for me to spend $2 or $3 more or $5 more, let alone $20 more.” So, the Vice Pro for me is the Vice Pro Junior for me is a big disappointment. Um, I I wish it had performed better. I wish I had something to hang my hat on, but for now, I don’t think I can really recommend it to anybody. Guys, as always, keep watching, keep saving, keep learning. Until next time, I’ll see you soon.

The precept Laddie was the original junior golf ball about 35 years ago
I had no idea this segment even existed! Well done Nick
Pinnacle Soft 100% ideal for the 65-75 MPH swing. I coach juniors and I keep them away from hard balls.
New Splash Ball very good also. I don't coach alignment. I use another method of picking a spot 1 foot in front of the ball and roll through it.
Just to play ready golf/ speeded up if adults are on the course.
That was great. Thanks for the review!
My son likes his Volvik Mickey Mouse balls with matching ball marker. But I'm sure as he improves I'll look at these balls. Especially the Jr Vice club sets.
Seems like these "junior" lines could have been better thought out. If you had to choose from all the balls you have reviewed, what would you personally go with for a junior Nick?
Be interested to see how they compare to the Wilson Boost. Might be a bit firmer than the Jr balls 🤔
Good stuff Nick ! Had no idea JR golf balls were out there ! You make a good point about 2 piece balls & they're spin ! Don't have to have a high dollar urethane 3 piece to get some spin & stopping power !
You mentioned in your last live stream about wanting to get opinions on what clubs to use etc. I am a mizuno guy but I'll say. The taylormade P790s are the standard for player's distance category which I think would fit you perfectly. Go get a fitting for them!
Kids are definitely drawn into colored golf balls. My golf range has colored golf ball trays for kids to practice as well. I love using orange color myself LOL
As a Bridegstone E6 user (along with a couple others), I feel personally attacked that you think I would use a junior ball!! I am a GROWN MAN!! Just because you think I might golf better you think I would swallow my manly pride???
So… Yeah I will give it a shot. I like kindness and Respect and neon colors……
These are made for someone that swings 68mph with the driver. My son played USKids Golf tournies when he was young and there used to be a ball made by Wilson that made for juniors. Don’t recall name of it but it was good.
Wonder how these would perform at a slower speed. That Bridgestone is quite nice anyhow.
Good job Nick, another great review!!
Youth (golf) is wasted on the young. 😅
Great, as always, Nick!
