My new hybrid is hands down the most forgiving club I’ve ever hit — seriously, it’s like cheating from the rough. But there’s a twist: it’s a ONE LENGTH hybrid, and that’s where things get complicated.

Are you looking for an easier to hit hybrid than the one you have? Then this type of club is the one you should look at. I recently bought this. It’s the one length five hybrid from Cobra. It’s an older model. It’s the Aerojet. So, I got it at a discounted price, but I bought it so I could have something a bit more forgiving uh in those rough spots on the course. If you don’t know what the one length system is, you can watch this video right here where I explain everything. I just wanted to talk you through why I decided to buy a one length hybrid when I have a regular length set. Like all the other clubs I have are regular length, not one length. Uh but the thing is the one length has a seven iron shaft which means it’s much easier to hit it because it’s just like hitting your seven iron. Even though this is a five hybrid, it will go further of course than a 7 iron, even though the shaft is shorter. Uh it that’s how the system works. I wanted to have something that is much easier to hit, more forgiving, and uh can get me out of those hard spots when I’m in the deep rough around the course. I want to have something that gives me a lot of confidence when I’m about to hit it. So, how do I like having this five hybrid? My first thoughts were it was an very easy to hit club. I could feel it right away that it was easy to hit. When I was in the store and found this club on sale, I also found another club which was a driving iron from Tailor Made. I was really curious to have a driving iron. I don’t think I have the speed for it, the swing speed. So, I decided to go with another hybrid to complement the one I have in my set. I have a four hybrid uh now. And uh I’ll show it to you. Um this is my four hybrid. It’s the Halo XL. Halo Launcher XL from uh Cleveland Golf. And it’s a really good um club as well. As you can see, it’s so much longer. Let me hold them like this. Okay, it’s a four hybrid and a five hybrid, but still like the the length of it is big difference. Really big big difference. So yeah, very cool. The feeling I had when I hit this hybrid on the range the first time after I bought it was really good. I really liked it. But I also noticed that I hit everything with a little fade. It went to the right a little bit, which is not my normal swing. Most of my shots go to the left actually. And this club I use now if I can’t miss left then I use this because then I am sure I will go to the right out of trouble which is it’s a cool thing to have like it’s a good to have a club that you know and you have confidence that it will go where you want it to go. Of course, it doesn’t always go to the right because I over swing. I do certain mistakes in my uh golf game, but most of the time I stay out of trouble on the left, which is very, very good. So, I really like having it. Uh I’m not sure that I love it. And the rest of my set is standard length irons and uh everything. So, I’m not sure if it fits into my whole package to be honest. Many people ask me all the time like if I will switch back to one length or if I will keep standard length and like how are you doing it? So, what I can say is it’s very unlikely that I will switch back to one length, but I really love it. And I’m thinking about it like here and there now and then when I have a bad round, I’m thinking, hm, maybe my setup could be easier if I had a one length iron set again. So, I’m like I’m considering it, but I there’s so many other sets out there that I love the look of and they seem so cool. So, it’s not likely that I choose one length again. Even though I’m still curious and I still love the system. That’s the thing. I think it lost some of its glory that it had when Bryson the Shambo was on the PGA tour and was crushing it there. I think it was more popular then. And I can also see it on the website of Cobra that they kind of hide the one length a little bit on the website. At least it seems like that. So maybe they are switching back to standard length. Who knows? Uh we will see. So I enjoy having this club, but I think I will sell it uh eventually. Um if you have any questions about one length or about this club, anything, uh write it in the comment section down below and please subscribe for more videos from me. Thank you.

Can you still buy one length irons or hybrids in the UK?
From experience that clubs lie angle is too flat and many players fade it right. Your better off getting a 4 or 5 hybrid that is adjustable.
The aerojets look strange without the white on them 🤔
