[Music] Team USA is proud to have Mr. Sam Burns. The last captain’s pick is Sam Burns, a Louisiana boy through and through. Born in Shreveport College at LSU, where he won the Jack Nicholas Award as the best player in division 1. Five wins on the PGA Tour and one of the best putters on God’s green earth. Sam has been in the top 15 in strokes game putting for each of the last five seasons. Oh yeah, he caught fire at the right time this year, posting back-to-back top 10s to close the season and earn his way onto the RDER Cup team. And there’s no one that Scotty Sheffler enjoys hanging out with more than Sam Burns. He’s going to hoop 20footers all week at Beth Page and it is going to annoy the Europeans and it is going to be glorious.
