Playing Bethpage Black with Paige Spiranac: BLOODBATH
Pinehurst number two. We barely survived. Oakmont, that was rough. Pun intended. Hell yeah. Nice. East Lake, I’m still sweating. But today, today we stare into the mouth of hell itself. Best page black. The nastiest public track ever built. A golf course so cruel it has a surgeon general’s warning on it. I think that’s what that is. Is the battlefield where giants have fallen. where a PGA championship and two US Opens victimize the best golfers in the world. Oh my god. Where this year the whole world will be watching when it plays host to the 2025 Ryder Cup. And joining us on today’s death march, golf’s original influencer, the legend herself, Paige Spiranic, foolishly, bravely, insanely agreeing to play this beast from the tips. Yeah. 6 miles of misery. Oh, don’t nearly 7,500 yds of carnage. A gauntlet of blood, sweat, and bogeies. No. Welcome to Blood Bath. Beth Paige Black. [Music] Welcome to another edition of Blood Bath. This time, look at it. You already You already know the first fairway. You’ve seen it a trillion times before. Hosts of a couple US Opens, PGA Championships, and this year’s Rder Cup. And today we have a very special guest, the OG golf influencer, Beth Paige Piranic. Welcome. How are you? Thank you. Thank you. I’m I’m excited to get my face ripped off today. Perfect. Love it. Uh you are being very brave. You’re playing from the tips with me. I am. It’s a long course. Yeah. I mean, might get some rain. We don’t know if that’s going to be tears running down my face or water, but uh I’m going to try to break 100 today. All right. I’m I’m going to try to break 100, too. That’s the ultimate goal. If we break 95, 90, great. But we have to break 100. Yep. All right. Yeah, let’s do it. It is time. The iconic opening T-shot of Beth Paige Black. It’s a sharp dog leg right onto a tiny fairway with the smallest green on the black course waiting for us. All of this in front of a small gallery of Long Island’s finest. Super chill way to start. Oh, keep cutting. It’s a good sway. Yeah. Okay. Not bad. All right. He got me blocked out over there. That’s all right. I think so. I think you’re okay. Not bad. Pressure page shot three under at Oakmont. So low. Yeah. Actually, I don’t mean to be like actually. No, I didn’t play the tips though, so that’s why we’re going to see. Yeah. Oh, and just giant slice. Getting that opening shortcut though. Yeah, there it is. Oh, there it is. The mini fairway. Not in the rough either. The mini fairway. That’s been one of the more nerve-wracking first drives I’ve ever had. Really? Yeah. Stay behind the benches behind. Really? Just like set it up perfectly cuz I’m going to go left of the pin and Yeah. Yeah. And try to cut it. Okay. The uh But I just don’t want to go. That way runs out at 140 on the right side. 140. Okay. [Music] Get up. Get up. Get up. Yeah. Good ball. I’ll take it. Oh, just another Slow down. All right. It’s pretty good. 56 or 62? Definitely not 62. Yeah. 62. Hit the pin. Hit the pin. I’ll take a five all day. I just got to get get the speed right. Would you chip put it? Yeah, I would chip this one. Got a little bit of room there. Put it a little on the right side. Maybe just for maybe a cup out on the right. Sit. It’s good chips. Yeah. Why am I Why am I nervous right now? I don’t know. I think I’m making you nervous and you’re making me nervous. High five right now. We need to just loosen up. This is the warm-up hole. We’re fine. Just get a five and move on for me. First putt of the day. Slow down. Slow down. Yeah. Good putt. Okay. Nice. Pretty straight, huh? Yeah. I don’t trust myself to tap that in. Oh, no gimmies at all. No gimmies. Great. Four. Okay, good start. My hands were Yep. Not too bad of a start. I’ll take a five. I’ll take a five. Just yeeting that T-OT to the right. We survived number one with a par and a bogey. You know what? We’ll take it. Next up is a shorter par4. A T-shot up the left side of the fairway leaves an ideal angle into the green because the deep bunkers on the right are looming. Sit there. That’s right. Oh Jesus. A beauty. Look at that. Okay. Not bad. Oh, play. Both those drives are worse than anything I did yesterday. All right. I’m getting getting lucky, though. There’s some bad mistakes, but you know, hadn’t hurt me. If I could if I could take a bogey on every hole right now, I’d say yes. Shoot a 90. Be proud of myself. Make my family proud. My ancestors it good. Looks good. Actually up there. That’s gonna be a good lead. Okay. I was trying to cut it and it it cut. It almost cut those guys open. Good joke. Oh, this isn’t bad at all. Great ball. She’s so good. She’s so good at golf. Go. Okay. Not too bad. Almost all the way to the brim. Second hole. Sun’s not even out. I have a condition. Love it. No. Oh, thank you. Do you want to finish up? I do. I do so bad. I don’t want to think about that at all. It’s not moving. Okay. Two tap in bogeies. That’s all right. Good though. I never finish out anymore. It feels so disrespectful to not say that’s good. We have a long and protected par three up next. It took us a few seconds to find this T- box because it was just so far back. All right, this is the first big tip situation. Look at the blues are 100 yards up there. Well, it’s funny. I saw them hitting from the whites and I was like, “Oh, this doesn’t look that bad.” And then I kept looking and looking and I’m like, “Oh, they’re cowards. That’s their thing.” See, I was nervous about the par threes. The par threes, I think, are going to eat me up. Yeah. Yeah. That’s the spirit. Nice. I knew it. I just didn’t feel good. Sit. Sit down. Chip. Okay. Oh, I’m so nervous. Tiger smoked bunker. I got to go. Probably bunker, but great job. Okay. Oh, better than bunker. Go run. Solid. All right. It’s sitting up, but feet are below it. Got to get it over this bunker. I can do this. Wow. Great shot. Thanks. Nice. That’s so good. Oh, almost bounced off that sprinkle ahead. It’s really wet there. Yeah. Get go. Oh, that was bad. Good putt. Mess with that hole. Hole four. First par five of the day. The shortest of the three. Very intimidating bunkers with a tricky second shot up to an elevated fairway and green. Stay there. Yep. Out there long enough. It’s only 180 way up to the right. All right. Crushed it. I keep doing that. I don’t trust it enough to aim left. You know what I mean? Trying to overrect it. Oh yeah, that draw. Look at that perfect draw. You’re right at the end of the fairway. Yep. Run. Great ball. Thanks. All right. Give us the uh the golf journey. Did you play growing up? You played in college, I know. So, I was actually a competitive gymnast for most of my life. Um, and then I fractured my kneecap twice. And so, same one. Same one. Um, but they said I was so young that my muscles were stronger than my bones. And so I was going back and doing a vault and the muscle pulled a piece of the bone off of my kneecap. Oh. Uh, but I was uh trying to go to the Olympics and um it just was a lot. Yeah. That was at the time too. I don’t know if you know like what was happening at the Cruley camp in Texas, but not a lot of really good things. And so to be 10, 11, my parents were like, “This is just too much. You’re in the gym nine hours a day almost every single day.” And uh I really wanted to be a competitive athlete and uh we sat down and tried to pick what sport I would be best at and my aunt Well, you had like a fantasy draft of sports basically. Yeah. come from a very athletic family. My mom was a professional ballet dancer. Uh my dad played football at Pit when they won national championship. And my sister was a hept athlete at Stanford. I don’t even know what that prefix means. How many is that? Bunch of events. Eight. Eight. Okay. Seven. Seven. Seven. Okay. And uh then my aunt was a professional tennis player, so I tried tennis first. Didn’t really like it. Just felt too similar to gymnastics. Was kind of hard on my body. And so my dad was like, “Let’s try try golf.” I didn’t come from a golf family, but he’s like, I think it will fit your personality really well because I’m actually quite introverted. And he was like, which is so weird of what I do now. But um hit the first golf ball, loved it. Played like from the first time you tried it, you were like, I love this. Obsessed with it. I loved it. So I did junior golf. I was ranked uh in top 25 and then played D1 college golf at University of Arizona and then SDSU, San Diego State. then played a year and a half professionally. It’s uh I don’t think it’s a divot, but it’s definitely in a little Do you think it’s in something or no? Yeah, I think it’s in a because we’re not repairing divots right now uh with the road cup coming up. Yep. It’s a special rule. Hear that? So, I James Caddy at Beth Page confirmed that I’m making a ruling on this ball. Yeah. You YouTube commenters, you don’t know more than just so if you’d like to DM me and say I’m wrong. Fair. I didn’t touch it. There you go. See, it’s still We didn’t like making sure his ball is that it was Yeah, that’s yours. Yeah. Yeah. Cool. Cuz I’d rather have a wedge in than have like a seven 74 in the air. Okay. You got that? Yeah. I think so. All right. Cool. Also want to hit it again cuz I hit it really bad on the last hole. I want to get out of my system before the next par three. Got where I will inevitably have it again. Go. Great ball. Look at that. Go right center. Yes. Okay. Good shot. Great ball. Thanks. Had a small bounce. Might might be in the rough there, but we’re definitely over probably with a wedge. Okay, great. Get up. No. Just thick. You swing with me here. It’s just it’s wet. Yeah. Um All right. Like Yeah. I’m going to give you a line up there, though. So, you think going for it? Oh, yeah. For sure. Okay. I don’t know if I could get it up that much. Pause. Okay. We’ll see if it spun. But you hit the green. 85 yards. I’m have to do a lot to get this to stop. Apparently, it’s downwind, not much room. So, this is a hit and hope. Oh, yes. He’s He’s staring into the Yeah, that was right. That’s what I was waiting for. Billy, I like your uh the gladiator mode of it like stopped like right on the edge. So I turned to get thumbed up and I looked back and it was just like off the back. Sit. Sit it. Oh god, I crushed it. Hit the hole. Please hit it. I hit that so hard. I just can’t can’t make a pour. Just kidding. I’m about to. That’s what I meant. It’s pretty straight. I feel like Yeah. Coming a little left, actually. Okay. So, inside right, come on, Zingga. I can’t not bogey. Oh my god. That broke so much. I was like like a cup out. Yeah. Hole five. I am starting to see a trend of scary sand traps off the tea. Beth Paige Black has got me all bked up. That bird house in the distance is a good one. Bird house on the left way. I’m going to the trees. You can’t see that bird house. I got bad eyes. You’re talking about little little birdouses. Look at popup. Be okay. B265. B265. Oh, no way. I should have stopped. Did you see the sweat drip from my hat right as I was about to swing? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Peel off left of it. Nope. In it. Yeah. A little bit of a top spin. Okay. I love the pre-shot routine. You like stood behind it and you go like, oh, it’s hard looking out there being like, I can’t carry this. Like, I don’t have a 250 carry in me. Yeah. Good boy. I just love hitting driver fivewood to then have a wedge into a par4. Maybe eight. Okay. What do you think? Like punch and like Yeah. kind of saw it off a little bit. Four full choke down. Oh, sit. Okay. Looks good. Up there somewhere. It’s a little thick. Yeah. Uh, can I go a little left a bit? Yeah. Not so strong. Yes. Oh, that was great. Great ball. Let’s wait for the Nice. See how we waited? He waited a little longer. Just make sure. Let’s wait till hat backwards. Now comes up. It’s cuz I was dripping on my drive. It was off the bill dripping. You see? Look at it. You looking at the hat right now. Huh. Went a lot more right than I thought it would. Good speed. There’s the bumpy. Good putt. Par. If it was a par five. Okay, that’s a good good perspective right there. Yeah, good putt. Good putt. Thank you. That was a new number. I didn’t love it. I felt your nerves this time. I am all aboard the bogey train and no signs of hopping off right now. Next up is a shorter par4 into a green. You guessed it, surrounded by a load of bunkers. Are you strawberry or grape with your uncrustable grape? Are you strawberry? I like to play the field a little bit, you know? Yeah. Sometimes strawberry, sometimes grape. Yeah. Is it Is it just those two? Are there any like weird They have a honey one, I think. Honey, and then Nutella, maybe. All right. I also could just be making Yeah. Yeah, I understand both of those. Somewhere. I didn’t know if there was like a, you know, ham uncrustable. Are you PB&J over hot dog at the turn? I’m hot dog. Okay. I mean, you don’t get this body without housing a lot of hot dogs. Crushed. Great shot. Yeah. Sweet. Thank you. Oh, right between them. Maybe short of it. Yeah, I think that’s great. What is it? 186 pin. We want to be right at that white pole that’s back there. And it’s better to be short, I’m assuming, than long. Short’s better than long. Okay. Oh, wait. Come back. Is it okay? Was that like a Serena Williams noise I heard? Give it all you got. Exhausted. Harry P. Before you get mad at me, they want to throw these off the fairway and they’re not sanding divots cuz or replacing divots. Okay. I’m being a good guy. All right. No sand. Nothing to worry about up there, you know. Just kidding. It’s doing part two. The sun will get All right. What do we got? 35 shot. 35. Yes. Titleist. Be good. Oh, that looks 10 ft. 10 ft. Yay. We’re in worst threeoot of your life going up. I thought it’d be really fast. Yeah, I went right. I pulled it a little bit. Oh, no. Good. Good. I wish. I wish. Good putt. Thanks. Okay. Good par. Finally a par. The bogey train is derailed. Hit a school bus. We made a par. Uh we went to the range earlier, Paige and I, and there was a youth camp. like a hundred kids, three young dudes, maybe like 10 or 11, came say hey, took a photo. They were very nice. They went away. Went to uh the range ball machine. I was about to pay and those dudes came back like, “Hey, we got it.” And they have like a member card. I was like, “Cool.” I was like, “Uh, large bucket. We’ll split it.” And they’re like, “Large?” I was like, “Yeah.” They did it. It was like 40 bucks. And it was like it was that big. looked like a laundry basket and we hit maybe 30 balls and left like 90. These kids are just standing. It’s very embarrassing for us. I didn’t look them in the eye as I left. So, thank you and sorry for wasting your money. Yeah, that’s a true story. Sorry getting to those kind kiddos from that youth camp. I hope I made you proud with that par. Anyways, hole 7 is a 553 yd par five. All right, you hit it hard enough there. It’ll go through. That’s really good. Go. Yeah. Yeah. Great shot. Thank you. Smashed. Get up. Go go go go go. Yeah. Short. I think it’s good. Carry. No, it’s in the bunker. I thought it was all sand splash. Yeah. didn’t have that height. I know. I can’t quite keep going left in my target line. Okay, so your favorite and least favorite creator. Yeah, excluding you. Excluding me as of course. Yes. Um I love Bradford Wilson with my entire heart. You know Bradford? I I never done anything with him. He’s the best. Sunny seen sunny stuff. I played at Oakmont with him. And there’s also just been a bunch of great folks through the golf world and business side like the DP World Tour guys we had dinner with last night. They seem really cool. Yeah. I don’t know who’s your number one. Kayn Henderson. Uhhuh. Is the most genuine, sweetest, most innocent soul. Like you see it online, you’re like she can’t be that pure and that happy. And you meet her in person and she’s exactly like that. And I think that’s the coolest thing. We were talking on our way over here. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz we did a shoot with her a couple months ago and she is the kindest person on earth. She’s just like sunshine. Yeah. Zoom in. Zoom in through the hole. Yeah. I don’t think I can get a big That’s cinema, baby. Eat scorsey. Oh no. Hit the card. Come back. Right. Yeah. Nice. Like you told me 130. That’s great. This be a great angle, right? Oh, don’t hit straight down. And I don’t think it’s going to run much. It’s It’s wet. It should burn a little bit, but just go right at it. It’s a little short. We’ll get up and down. Good swing. Great line. Go. Yeah. Go in the hall. I might say par. Thank you. You’re welcome. Great shot. Thanks. Oh my goodness. That’s so good. So good. Still so good. I’ll take him from there. Yeah. Yeah, that was a good shot. Tip that in. We tip that in. Good. Go left. Okay. Yeah. Good bunker shot. Thanks. My god. Oh, so scared. Good par. Kind of right edge-ish. Like half drag. I like it. Got a hit. The screen felt way slower than the other. That was the right line though. Yeah. A little more juice. Okay. A bogey. Hole eight is a 210 yard par three featuring the only water hazard on the black course, but I’m definitely not thinking about that. No way. Honestly, I’ve never felt worse over a t-shaw before. You got help with so great. It’s fine. I think I’m smelling myself. Sorry. That’s all work out. Then the win. Carry, carry, carry, carry, carry. Oh. Oh, yeah. Oh my god. Oh, it was so close. There’s two balls out the left on the hole. It was so close. With an a at tried to keep it below the wind over my head. Just a little little flighted hybrid. in little little tiger stinger. That would have been incredible. Just one hand finish. That doesn’t deserve to go in. That That would I also I was glad I didn’t go in cuz I didn’t want to run. I don’t want to run after it. Oh, I’m already so sweaty. You talking about the water though? That’s true. Oh, no. Top of the hill. Okay, we get chip from up there. Right. Comes a hike. That’s what I needed. Yeah, just a little thin, but we’ll take it. Free solo that hill. Oh no. Okay. It’s not great. I just got to go right into this. Cool. This is like a This is like something out of like the course editor on these. I mean I think 62 and just want to pop it up. Yeah. Oh yeah. That’s a really really really good shot. I’ll take it. That’s so good. You have a great short game. Thanks. Was that a rest? I don’t know if that was a rest. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Sit. Now they’re fast. Right. Here’s your double. Good three. Double. It’s all right. I’m uh What was that? Seven holes. Seven over. One par, one double. Everything else is a bogey. It’s all right. That would be a 89 par 71. Bogey golf. A near ace from Paige. Think about that. Don’t think about what I did over on that hill. A near ace from Paige. Unbelievable. Let’s try and wrap up this front nine with something not awful, shall we? Perfect. Great ball. That was crushed. Thanks. Go. Oh yeah. Good bounce left, too. Sit down. Yeah. Oh, you’re good. Three up the fine. I love the optimism every time. We’ll get You’re delusional, but I like it. Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. All right, we need a trailer clickbait sentences. You know who bar none is the absolute worst creator in the golf space? Nice. That was a good one. Can you believe that Grant Horvette just Yeah. You know what? That’s actually not surprising. I’ve heard that from other people, too. Yeah. big guy part of uh part of blood bath too this episode is being the sweatiest grossest version of myself front of page just a extra level of I’m dying you know I pushed it carry could be in the trap in the trap right I from that lie I kind of didn’t really have a shot probably confident with it like if we faded off the bunker like that left bunker. There’s a left miss or there’s a light fivewood that’s like 230 if I try to cut it. I don’t hate it. I love it. Okay. I can usually I love it even if it sucks. I can usually cut it decently, too. It’s all good. Okay. Shoot a Gavin. Get up. Get up. Freaking McGavin. Oh my goodness. Hell yeah. Yeah. It actually cut right down the little little walkway. You said right there. It only happens like once around when you do something you actually want to do. Feel like part of the negative golf game is he underestimates himself. He’s actually pretty good. He thinks I’m delusional, but he’s like a little pessimistic and we come in the middle like average out. Cam, you ever thought about moving to Atlanta? Damn. Berkeley pin high. Thank you. I forgot to put Vaseline on. I’m javed. Yeah, good out. It’s always kind of a subtle golf for us when you say good out cuz everyone wants a good shot or like nice. It’s like good out. That’s fine. Oh, smashed. Oh, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit. I hit that hard. Slow down. I don’t like that. I don’t like that length. Go for it. You got it. Okay, I’m going to pray about it. Great putt. A bird out. Nice par. Thank you. That is nine holes done. This place is a beast, but we are playing some solid golf. I’m only eight over par, even after some just strange bad shots. Paige, who’s playing from the tips, by the way, is playing really solid and sits at seven over par. What do you think so far? Tougher than you thought? Yeah, it’s really hard. It like tricks your mind to like take angles that you shouldn’t take. And so I keep putting myself in some not so great spots. Um, but I’m having so much fun. Yeah, it’s a blast. Uh, there’s not there’s not a ton of OB, which is nice. I would agree with that. I’m spraying the driver a little bit. Yeah, I haven’t lost a ball yet, which is great. And I’ve hit a lot of bad shots. Okay, so we’re breaking 100. I don’t see unless we like snap a femur or something. We’re not 90’s in play for both of us. I mean, those hills are pretty steep. Like take a little little twist. Very very confident. That’s the That’s the attitude. Uh I’m I’m changing my goal to 90. Okay, I’ll do the same. Okay, cool. 100 dead. 90. That’s what we’re going for. I like it. Ended the front nine on a high note. So, let’s attempt to keep that rolling. First up on the back nine is a 503 yd par five4. It’s a It’s a par4. All right. Oh, I have to keep doing that. Dropping the shoulder right at the trap. It’s okay. Great ball. Yeah, nice. Yeah, the carry, too. Great ball. Why the hell are we playing from back here? That was a great drive right at the fairway. Make it to the fairway. All right. What’s the favorite and least favorite part of the job? Like, do you like shooting or editing or traveling? I mean, all of it. We’re so lucky to be able to do what we do. This is such a dream job. um especially coming from like more of a playing background which is an absolute grind and people don’t realize how financially, physically, emotionally draining that is that this is a piece of cake. I would say the hardest thing for me is that um there’s a lot of like impersonating accounts of me trying to scam people and then they’ll scam people and then those people get really really angry because they’ll lose like you know $100,000 and uh they then want it’s it’s none of it’s good. What are the go what are the scams that they’re like they’re like hey hun basically it’s like it’s paige I’m falling on hard times I need you to wire me 50 grand. Yeah. It’s like I can’t pay for my rent or my gas or like you know any of this stuff. And so they’ll start giving them money and they think that they’re in a relationship. And so then people get really really angry. I’ve had people come up at events and like come up and like try to kiss me cuz they think that we’re we’re together. Um, which is really scary, which I’m sure I’m sure you get that all the time though, right? Don’t do that. Yeah, all the time. But that’s the that’s the worst part because it’s just still like the wild wild west of, you know, social media and there’s just not a lot of rules or regulations that can even really help you or them through this. Um, because even if you’re scammed, they’re kind of just like, “Sorry.” Yeah. Does a Does a bank they don’t refund that, right? It’s not like identity theft. No, not from what I’ve seen. So, um, yeah, it’s it’s not good. Uh, hit the top of the fairway. We might have a little downhill there. Good spot. Should be okay. Yeah, thanks. Landed really sore. I didn’t mean to pull it left, obviously. All right, start in the back n I know the last five holes are just killers. So, I really need to play these next few decently if I’m going to break 90. Yeah, great shot. Boom. Well done. Teamwork. That could be good, too. Go. Oh, Paige. Yeah. Show me the line. Hell yeah. This whole like three up. I love it. Three up is great. For a public golf course that gets a lot of play. Everyone fixes their ball marks out here. Yeah. Sure. They’re going hard, too. Pre- Rder Cup. Yeah. Great putt. Great four. Oh, that felt good. Great putt. Thanks, Yes, pars. Let’s go. Really good. All right, now we’re feeling it. Pars all around as we head to the blind t-shot on the 435 yd 11th. All right, don’t flare it right. That’s awesome, man. Really good swing. and also one of the swings. That was really nice. Thank you so much. Great ball. Go. Yeah. 85 to cover the trap. I like playing uh 200 right between them. Okay. I like that. Oh, darn. Stay short. No, it’s Yeah, you sure. You’re good. That’s it. Oh, rolled in. Flirting. I think it went in. As soon as I hit it, the wind picked up and I was like, I do not have enough club. Yeah. Pulled it. Catch it. Oh. Oh, no. Yeah. I mean, it plugged. It plugged. And it’s she’s going to be way below my feet. Oh, no. It’s all right. No. Good shot. Good shot. No, I got to blast it out. Like I have to dig in like six inches behind this ball. I don’t know the It’s going to be a hell of a rake job. I’m sorry. I don’t even know if I can. My feet will stop. Okay, that’s not ideal. A lot of sides. So, right here. Okay, that was a good time. We’re having fun. Yes. Oh my gosh. Go in. Go in the hole. Go. Go. Go. [Music] That was to good. Damn. my horn. That was awesome. Amazing shot. Can I get out this direction? So happy right now. Look at that. Wow. Have you ever seen that was really good? Probably one of the best shots I’ve seen. Clip it. Great putt. Yeah. Hell of it up and down. We’re like kind of feeding off each other now. You feel that? Back none. This is good energy. I mean, it’s just left center. Get it there, right? Yeah. [Music] Yeah. Amazing up and down. Some good up and downs right there. That’s so good. Pars are tough here. Those are long holes. We’re fighting. We’re doing it. Next up is the 516yd par 412th, which is perhaps the toughest T-shot on the property. It’s 275 yards to clear the bunkers. So, the safe play for us is to aim to the patch of fairway short right. 275 bunker. Oh god. All right, I’m going to aim at the right corner of the bunker and hopefully cut it a little bit. Oh, I let it go again. Stop. Oh, jeez. Right. The bumper. Not a trap. Jack doesn’t exist. So, not a trap. 516 yard par4. And I just And great ball. Stop short of it. Yeah. Cool. Good ball. No more than 180. I like 180. I think if we’ll go two, I think we’re pushing getting through. Okay, we can get through on the right. It’s just probably going to be a wedge or a nine iron from there. Yeah, that tree. Fine. Not right. Brutal. Yeah. Get out. That just grabs the club. struck. Yeah, you crushed that ball. Left. Yeah, it’s a good spot. Go. Go just a little bit. Let’s have another weird stance. Get out. Big shot. Yeah. I thought that would kick more. Yeah. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Just left. Okay. Feels good to me. I just push pushed it big time. I was slow. Stay up. Ah, try the six. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Good putt. We got big five. Right side fairway all the way. Could have been worse. The 13th is our last par five of the day and the longest at 608 yds. It’s a pretty straight hole. So, let’s just hit a straight one off the tea, shall we? Fly. Go hard. Go. I think it did, right? Yeah. It’s fine. Just not very good. And slowed it down, too. That’s gone. I just keep doing that. Ret try to find. I think I might saw it come down. Is that a You planted like a red steak or No, just woods. Okay. I can’t get to that bunker on the left, right? Not to the second one. No. No. All right. Yeah, I’ll just drop one here. No need to look. [Music] Okay, playing three. I’m going to try my little just four cut. Cut. Don’t do that. Set. Did it go right? Yeah, that’s fine. Good kick. Chaos hole. Go. You got it. So good. Go go go. Oh yeah. Great shot. Great ball on the front or just short. Excellent. How far was that? Uh 220. Driver 3wood. 3wood. Yeah. Go. Cool. Here we’re at. I mean, I could do a 56, too. T wedge will split the difference and just try to land it right before the green. We need a little loft. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Super good line. Yeah. Really good shot. Ah. Inside left. Yeah. I mean, if you want to dive it there, it might I think it’s inside. Very pot. Thanks, Jack. Yeah, good putt. Great. Good double. Great par from Paige and a double from the big wet ogre as we head to the par 314th. I am so glad I’m saying this. It’s the shortest hole on the course at 161 yards. So quick. Good news is I got a slow-mo video of that. So Oh, great. Looks great. Yeah, good shot. Thank you. Great shot. Hey, boys. Hey, it’s so nice to meet you. You as well. How you doing? Good. Nice to meet you, Paige. It’s a rough day out there. Hi, Paige. I don’t believe that. The course is just so long. I know. We were We played it yesterday and even have a scramble. We were like, we got this. First four was like, we’re so good. By 12th, we’re like, I don’t I don’t know if we’re going to make it. No, I don’t know if we’re going to be able to do it. It was like quiet coming up that last driver 3wood, 3-wood. Nice. Yeah. So, it’s But we’re having a lot of fun. Yeah. So, there’s that. Disclaimer at the end. But, we’re having fun. But we’re having fun, I think. Fun. Yeah, for sure. That could change at any moment. What’s up, dude? Oh, yeah. So good. Go right. Great ball. Thanks. I can’t bogey this. That was me on the other par three. I did the same thing. Your eyes get bigger with the birdie and there’s a blow. You get so excited. You’re like my one opportunity. Yeah, I will push. Great putt. What an up and down. That’s great. That’s great. [Music] It’s cuz they’re watching now. It’s cuz they’re watching. They’re full. They’re full. You haven’t missed one like that all day. Nope. The fact that you parred from there and I bogeied from there is stupid. I don’t want to hear anyone talk about that three putt. Okay. Men in black mind eraser flash here. Anyways, the par415th is one of the toughest greens on the course. elevated about 50 feet above the fairway. Oh god, that three pole is bad. [Applause] Good ball. Left. Yeah. Fine there. The weather glove. That was sick. Game changer. Doesn’t look pretty at all. What? It’s nice to know that if I slice the [ __ ] of this, it’s a free It’s a free drop. The exact same thing. Free drop off hospitality. Would have did a mile right be fine. That’s fine. A little better. Yeah, that was good. Good shot. I think we’re going to play three up anyway for this back two. So, no matter how you guys hit it, I don’t think it’s reachable. Love it. We don’t have to go right to the end. Let’s hit it 80. It’ll run out a little. Might be some help off there. It might be off the left. It’s going to run out. Sit. That should be fine. Right there. Stop. Stop. Stop. And rough. Drive. Give me a 170 shot. So just eight iron, right? Okay. Yeah, it’s 160. Yeah, just in case it Lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely. Yeah, good shot. Good shot. Get up. Good girl. Thank you. Good lead, too. This is the perfect length for me to tupt. I was so scared. Gosh. I mean, that was pretty good. That five. Yeah, I’ll take it. Yep. Yeah, back of the cup. We have reached the home stretch. The 16th bins gently to the left. And believe it or not, it’s one of the few holes at Beth Page where you can see the green from the T- box. Yeah. Bullet. 350 down the hill. I don’t think I got to the fair. I think you did. Break 80. That’s your new goal. Yeah. Okay. 80. Yeah. How about 85? 80. Yeah. I like that. There it is. Smoke though. Not bad. That’s what matters, you know. Sounded good. What’s your low score? 62. 62. Yeah, that’s the course record out here. Why didn’t you just do it here? I know, right? Just simply do it here for the tips. Me if I wasn’t playing the tips. No. Yeah. Um, yeah. No one was out there with me, though, so I don’t say it that often. Uh, 64 a bunch of times in tournaments, though. Okay. Uh, yeah. He said like 250. Ain’t no way. I kind of want to do another five iron right there. Really smart. That was hit super well. Yeah, it’s all we need. Hey, you’re 244 220 front. We’re not going at the pin. We’re going down the left side. Yeah, kind of opening. Y exactly. Oh, Paige, advantage me. No, she’s she’s got like seven strokes from the tips. That’s insane. Also, she rules. Wonderful human. So good at golf. The fact that she showed up and she was like, “Play the tips. I’ve never done it. Let’s do it.” Sounds ridiculous. Big fan of Paige. You should be, too. That’s unreal. Please be right. Got caught right on the So close. That would have come down. Good ball. It did come down the slope. Oh, it got stuck up on that. You can see it. I hit that so good. You did. That was looking good in the air. Beautiful. Slow down. Down just a hair. Yep. Spin side. Oh yeah. And it’s coming down towards Nice. Very nice. That’s uh 12 feet shot. Love it. Let’s make a putt. Let’s make a freaking puck. How does it that way? Good ball. Thanks. All right. Need this one. Feels like it wants to go left a tiny bit. Come on. Yes. Thank you. Par. Par. Great. One of the first ones we got. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Great. Great putt. Good four. All right, we’re back on the delete that the 17th. The iconic par three at Beth Page Black is surrounded by some big scary bunkers. This one will be an absolute blast to watch down the stretch of the Ryder Cup. That wall rough behind. Okay, easy. Please give the grass between them. Begging doesn’t work out here. I know. Try multiple times. [Music] Catch, catch, catch, catch. Join me. local contest. The danger here is blasting at like 130 yards cuz I don’t want to get much sand. There it is. Not too bad. Actually, that’s what I was scared of. Stop. Stop. Stop. No. No. So close. I got the It’s okay. It did. I was surprised. I mean, I thought it was going hard left. I didn’t hit it hard enough. All right. Yeah, great putt. Really good. I’ll take a four. Yeah, that was a good bogey. Actually, I mean, but you pulled it and got Oh, okay. Great. You You didn’t have to say that. Yeah. Good putt. 18th hole. Beth Page Black. We’ve been beating Beth Page black and blue. But we’re going to break 90. But how low can we go? I don’t I don’t know. We might not break 90. Little Tony Fenel ankle slip, you know, little femur situation. We’ll see. But we’re going to try our best. And there it is. is one of the best finishing holes in all of golf. Let’s take a flight, shall we? This T-shot requires some precision to stay in between the enormous cluster of bunkers, and then we’ll be left with a blind approach to an elevated green. That’s perfect. Thank God. Great swing. I’ve been just spraying everything, right? So that’s great. Thanks. Oh, nice. I’ll kick right. Great ball. Start crawling the way in. Right at it. Yep. Oh, yeah. It’s a little in. I think two 200 195 is still good with plentiful. Yep. left. Get over. Get over. Stop. It might have fell left. A little bounce. I saw it go past. Okay, good. It just left. It’s fine. Little bit of hurt. So, either easier seven or or stock eight. Let me do easy seven. Okay, that feels good. Whoa. Yeah. All right. Good. Nice shot. Thanks. Yeah. Felt good. And I knew if I was a little past it, she want a putt. All right. What What about sinking a bomb? Little Beth Page bomb to end it. It’s good ball. It’s going to It’s going to go what? Foot and a half or so. It’s going to leak. So, we got to play it out here. Yep. Wanted to give that a chance. I’m looking inside left. Okay. didn’t move. Thanks. All right. Left edge. Whatever I feel. Oh, hell yeah. We did it. Oh, I have no bill. Great plan. the sweatiest gross. You’re the man. Thank you so much. And thanks for coming out again tonight. Thank you. Thank you. It’s just that hurt a lot. Yeah. Thank you so much. Beth Paige Black. Give me the rundown. What do you think? Um it’s really freaking long. Yeah. Uh amazing golf course though. I would say that I was blown away by how good of condition it was in considering it’s a public golf course. It gets so much play. Fairways are very narrow. You have to hit fairways and the greens are challenging to read. I feel like I’m such a good short putter and just putting in general. I I had no idea where they were going. Yeah. I got gas lit a few times by myself and my caddy. I’m like that’s going that’s a foot right and it just trickles left. But had an absolute blast and we did well. 286s. Yeah. We wanted to break 100. Well, it’s my first blood bath. How does this compare to your other blood bath? That feels good. It played all right at Oakmont. feel like I played all right here. So, I feel great. I mean, 90 was the real goal in my head, but I felt like an [ __ ] being like, I’m gonna break 90 out here at Beth Page Black. So, I said 100. So, I feel great. I really didn’t think I was going to break 100. Yeah, you did. And I’m happy I did. Yeah. From the tips. Super low. Longer than the tips. Long. Longer than the tips. That’s true. Yeah. Uh, okay. Cool. Thank you so much for watching. You know the deal. Like and subscribe. Follow Paige. I’m sure you already do. If you if you watch our stuff, you know her. You love her. Um, that was Blood Bath. We’ll see you next time. Beth, Paige, Black, you were incredible. One of our hardest tests on Blood Bath to date. An 86 for myself and an 85 from Paige means we break both of our goals. First 100 and then 90. Huge shout out to Paige for playing and for agreeing to play from the tips. She is damn good at golf and just a wonderful person and great hang. And big huge massive thanks to the PGA of America for having us out. Be sure to tune in to the Ryder Cup on September 26th through 28th to watch the pros take on this beast. Come on, USA. I believe. Thank you so much for watching and we’ll see you next time for another edition of Blood Bath.

Definitely the best chest
Would love to golf with Paige so positive I’d probably shoot 59! I’m also introverted and taught golf for 14 years with a PGA card 64 now haven’t paid dues in a while but in the record books with 26 on front nine in qualifying Thats comes with teaching a course record in Illinois where a state tournament was played! So I get the introverted and what you’re doing now for work as I was teaching!
Did the opening comments say 6 miles? That is like 10000 yards!!!
If there was a celebrity golf tournament, where people voted on the field, I reckon Paige would make it.
Probably time to trade in the hat for a headband.
Great round Paige, just under 7500 yds, well done
aron sucks at golf…..just quit, you cant hit shots like that in front of her.
GG.
Paige is a quality human. Her attitude impresses me every time I see her. Great video!
Need Hannah in there, Aaron!!!!
I don’t “love” the lie angle on your L.A.B. My Mezz Max sits flat on the ground. I’m sure Sam and his team can help you out. Great video though! Looking forward to this weekend 🇪🇺🇪🇺🇪🇺
Paige's short game is always good. Impressed she played from the tips.
Aaron, I think we should just bring a 12 pack of St Andre hats on the next shoot, my bro.
Is that you Andre sketching that yeet noise ..? Everytime u do it u slice..?
Damn, Paige is still smokin'. And decent at the golfs.
@21:40 I felt this … We love you Andre!!! You did good!
Old man is good with the advice.
Andre. "That's the spirit. Nice"? That's all you can think of?
Wow, Paige, that was great playing from wayyyy back!
Does Aaron ever practice?
more slices than a brooklyn pizza shop
Paige's short game is real nice.
Great presentation. An enviable experience.
Aaron, you need to work on that slice, brother. Line and distance. Line and distance.
33:54 No way I’m +7 or 8 after 9 from the tips on the Black course…and I’m a 7. No matter what happens on the back…awesome round!
36:27 Happens to me all the time, @PaigeSpiranic . Now she’s lived with me for 23 years and says we’ve been in a relationship the whole time…she even takes all my money! 😢😂
The Legend herself!
Should have played with Hanna, your one was a pain to listen to
this dood is boring if he isnt on an ig clip….
Try doing this after sleeping in a car all night, waking up at 4am and doing shots of Jameson with the bartender before your round. Hell of an experience. Can’t wait to get back.
They made the eighth hole way to easy, by taking out the tree.
You made a guest appearance on the GGG channel and you and Chendo were partners for regular scramble, tee-flip scramble and worst ball scramble
Thank goodness you got a strong back Paige!
It's really fun to watch you playing golf. The course is so beautiful (too many bunkers for my taste 😅). Greetings from Germany
Boycott lsraeI and stop the genocide in Gaza, ..
Get that man a Ping g440 SFT and end that slice.
Trying to play a course like that, and set up like that, to Par is never going to work. Clearly the only way an amateur should play a course like that is to focus on getting the ball on fairway and not use the driver much. Most Par 4 holes I would hit a 5 wood or mid iron off the tee(do that again on Par 5) then only a 6/7 iron to the font – and then chip on and hope make the putt. Par 3s would be the same – lay up and chip close. That course challenges very good Pros to keep it in play off the tee and punishes badly if they dont – same for shots to a green. I would just keep it in play and enjoy the view and try to break 90 – if going well, maybe pull out the big dog on the last hole.
Is it me or was he intentionally miss those short putts??
Paige's caddie with the most legendary New York accent of all time.
stroke and distance
Lisan al Gaibbbbbb!!! Lol too good. Also can’t forget the vaseline Aron! Party foul
Maybe 9 hats.. switch out every couple holes. Love the videos
Paige’s caddy’s accent is awesome … reminds me of home
Pro tip: enter the bunker from the low side 😁
Hannah came dripped tf out!
The heavy breathing walking up the hill on 8 😂😂
Paige was super charming and tons of fun to watch with Aaron! Great video guys! I continue to love St Andre golf!!
