One of my all time favourite practice drills!

It’s wristy, isn’t it? Yeah. It’s on this side. So, you look a bit like this. Yeah. Okay. Um, and we’re not going to try and sort of take that out. What we’re going to do is add the body turning. Try the body turn water down the wrist down. Drop the club on the ground. Put your thumbs together like this. And get your hands up like this. As far as they go. Yeah. Into your here. That’s it. And you get into a bit of posture. Good. Really. I don’t want any daylight under your elbow. That’s in. Right. And then just feel like you’re moving back and through. Don’t let the elbows come off you. They slightly come off. So just like they’re totally in. Now make him move back. Make him move through. Can you feel that? Yeah. Does it feel like your wrists are doing anything there or does it feel? No. No. No. It’s all legs and upper body, isn’t it? Upper body. Yeah. Exactly there. So you if we can get you moving like this with a club in your hand, we’re going to be in business. Beautiful.

  1. Them chipping at the guy collecting balls and him throwing the balls back at them was the real plot of this short. 😮

  2. Even when you're demonstrating how to do it wrong, you make perfect contact! 😂

  3. Very simple yet effective drill. I use it quite a bit on the course during a round to remind me of the feeling I need around the greens. Solid work as always from Mr Grieve!👍
