Head Pro Tries Kicking Us Off The Course!

All right, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome back to the JNA Mini Major, a weekly series where the three of us compete for the JNA Championship belt. Owen is the champion from last week. Take it from here. Off. We’re at Swan Valley Golf Course here in Swan Valley, Michigan. We’re playing nine holes today. John verse Ashton verse me. I get four strokes. They start at even par. Ladies and gents, can Johnny take home the belt today? Oh, Johnny draws. That was a good ball. It’s just left of the green, but that’s prime. We can’t go off the back. Oh, there’s no one coming down nine though. Okay. Okay, we’ll go. Wait, are you sure? Yeah. I said, are you sure? Like, if we’re not getting in anyone’s way, stood here on the green for like half hour, but our tea time was at 11:10, so I didn’t think it was that big of a deal. We’re waiting for our big deal. Go to number one. Thank you. Okay, guess for the first time in our channel history, we’re going to be reeing on the first te. Can we go get our balls at least? It’s literally 11:10 right now that we waited for our tea time and now our tea time is taken. There’s a lot of times where I can side with the pro, but right now is not one of them. You got it, bro. I’m not I’m not talking. Owen volunteered. Owen will be the nicest. We were waiting on the practice screen right there and when it was our tea time, there wasn’t anybody on. There was actually there was Our tea time was 5 minutes ago. That’s the reason we went off the back. I wasn’t trying to be snappy at all with you. I’m not going to argue. We’re not even arguing. We’re not I’m Do not start 18 holeers on the back. We’re playing nine holes today. So, we can start on the back. No, you can’t. There’s been people on the tea. 11:10. John 4 for 9 on the front. People took our tea times. You guys can go over to Crooked Creek to the business office and I’ll be All right. Thank you. Sometimes you deal with hard people in life. That’s just how it goes. You can’t have a conversation with someone that won’t like listen to reason. There’s no point. It’s a waste of time. The superintendent here is calling me. Yo, so um we’re filming a video here at Swan Valley and we pulled up an hour early to our tea time. We’re practicing. There all of a sudden like was a swarm of people at 10:50 we had and they like took our tea time. So we decided to go off the back and I don’t know who’s in the pro shop but he like threw a fit. No, thank you. That’s uh Do you know his name at the counter? No, it’s an old guy. He’s white polo. Okay. Yeah, talk to him. Old people, young people, it doesn’t matter. All right. Good to know. All right. Okay. Thank you. See you, Joey. You need anything else? We’ll do. Thanks. The owners here are great. It’s just him and no clearly. I’m going to let that speak for itself. Now, let’s play Swan Valley. Now, let’s play for the JNA mini championship major belt. Man, I might need to loosen up again. Jeez, dude. Yeah, you were getting tense talking to him. The veins in your face. There’s nothing that makes Owen more mad than angry old people. I feel like I was pretty levelheaded, dude. Yeah. No, you were pretty good. All right. 191 uphill water, right? Oh, so Owen, it’s got to sit a little bit. I went five iron. Five iron. Oh, we’re good. That was perfect. Wait, what? You’re on the green? Yeah. All right, I’m going to get a sixiron up there. Slightly uphill. I think it’s playing like 200. Oh, sit. It’s out. From a a beautiful drive to a hooked ball out. Pure good swing. Yeah, it’s good. John, are you hitting a provisional? So, back in the day, this is where all the high school tournaments were played. Josh told me a story the last time we played. He specifically hooked everything out of bounds the first time. Right. We played in the morning and they have no range here. So you’d get out here at like 5:00 a.m. and you’d have to tee off on this hole. I hit it towards that house every single time. I asked to go on the second slot so I didn’t have to start on this hole. So that’s why we’re making John replay so he can uh he can feel the the ground the path that Josh walked. So we’re dropping two, hitting three. I’ve been really playing draws. So I’m going to aim a little more right. Overcooked, too. All right, let’s try to recover. All right, and we are off. JNA Mini Major episode 4. Off to a great start. Off to a great start. A very happy start. Wouldn’t want in any other way, Johnny. Defending JNA Major Championship. Oh, yeah. Confidence is high. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I’m playing some pretty good golf right now. I will say probably some of the best golf I’ve played in my life. So, I’m out here with new irons today. The T100s John let me use them. So, I might be a little shaky with those just cuz I’m getting used to them. Yeah, but the swing is pure either way. Swing is pure. All right. Up and down for double set. Yeah, I’ll take that. Good touch. Touch. All right. There’s a there’s a lot of OB on this course, so what happened to John could happen to any of us. I will say though, on and I need to capitalize. Yeah, good chip going. All right, we’ll take it. Left myself a really long putt. Probably like 30 ft up the hill. Speed might be a little tough to judge. So, we’re going to just try to put something 3 ft in a 3ft radius and we’ll make that putt. Wow. All right. All right, this is my double bogey putt, boys. This is a big putt to make. Yes, good putt, John. There we go. Good putt. Good putt, boy. I needed that mentally. I needed that after the first drive. And that’s just a really good recovery being off that hill and going OB. We have like a 4-footer for my par. That’s tough. I’ve been missing those short ones lately. I don’t know what it is. Need some confidence. Need to build some confidence with those for sure. Good. Good. Thank you. Did you see Ash went skydiving, Owen? What? Not. Well, kind of. Yeah. Oh, he went in one of the tube chambers like this. What? You had a helmet on and everything. So much fun. It was so much fun. That is like You’re in a contain tube. What’s the wind going to get knocked out from underneath you? I guess it probably could. I was watching your video and you were like, “We’re going skydiving, Emma.” I’m like, “What?” She always is want like she still wants to like the actual skydiving. You’ve always said you’d never she wanted to and like for an anniversary. No, I told her that. All right, I think I’m good to go. Driver in hand. Par five. High draw. Is it probably going to fade into the trees? Yeah. I actually kind of called that. It’s a good hit. That’d be fine there, actually. No trees. Kind of a hard driving hole. If you don’t draw the ball, it’s you’re going to get sucked into those trees over there cuz there’s brush. All right, I’m going to aim right and hopefully the ball comes back too much. Sit. Oh, buddy. You played that. You sure did. Started that over the women’s tease. He in. I was a betting man. I would not bet on that. I can’t even see. Where do you aim on this hole? That’s what I was saying. Like, you really can’t. You have to aim at that big group of I mean, they’re all trees. Okay. It’s a par five, so as long as you’re safe, it’s pretty fine. Yeah, this should be good. That’s tough, man. John’s dealing with that hookie ball flight. I’ve been there before. It’s hard to get out of. Honestly, I’m not in a nice spot. I am glad my balls stay my ball stayed in. I could go high left, but I just I want to get out of the tree trouble here. Keep it low with a four. Not my best, but I think we’ll have an angle in. We can attack the green still. I have a long way and I still have like 300 in on this par five. I’m just going to go whatever I think I can get over these trees. So, I’m going to go a nine iron and leave myself like 180 in. Oh, did that hit it hard or Oh, I guess it hit it hard. Oh, dude. My luck with trees have not been there lately. Dude, you’ve been getting so unlucky. One day. That was a pure strike, though. Just You got strokes to mess with, so no big deal. That’ll do. Yeah, good. Good punch. Good shot, dude. Why do they Why do John and Ashton say that? What? They’re like, “You got strokes to mess with.” Oh, I don’t know. I’m going to take every stroke I can get out here. If I hit a bad shot, I’m going to be upset. I don’t get why you guys are both like, “Oh, you got strokes to mess with.” It’s so stupid because we get a reaction like that. It’s so dumb. All right, we’ve got uh I believe like 300 in. So, got four iron. Cut one around these. I hit the stick in front of me. You shattered it. Oh my gosh. I didn’t think that was possible. Tupac, get my bogey. Get out of here. That’ll do. Go. Actually worked out perfectly. Yeah, that worked. Look at that, dude. It’s still getting better. Yeah, it’s getting better. Center of the green. I do have this tree in my way, but I’m going to aim right of it with a little draw. Johnny draws. Oh, that could be really so good. That might need to get down. Maybe kind of flew. Is that deep? Maybe just be back at you. Get shot. Nice. That literally clipped just the edge of the tree and drew right to the pin. Double cross. Up and down. Up and down. All right, I found myself in the clovers. I really got to work on that wedge shot. That thing should never draw. But up and down. Save my par. Go in. Go in. Do Oh, we will take that. We will take that. Not bad. Can we do it, Johnny? Good putt, dude. I thought that might have had a chance. Good putt, dude. That’s good. It’s really fast down the hill. Or a lot faster down the hill than up the hill. What did you just say, John? It’s a lot faster down the hill than it is up. Yes. Crazy physics works. Yeah, it’s crazy. Good. Pure stroke. Two over. Ash, you’re one over. You’re even. I’m even. And I’m one over. You’re two over. Two. Two up bleed out of the kid. Josh, this is a This is a Ja Mini Major. I’m not doing anything I shouldn’t here. Four iron in hand. Just got to find a fairway wedge on. Oh my gosh, Ashton Delasi, you are stinking at golf. All right, this is probably the most bombs away hole out here. So, smoking driver dead center. Got after that. Might have some tree trouble though. It’s not going to be the easiest. Look, it’ll be up there. I think we’ll have an easy look. I was over there. I know it’s not easy. It’ll be It’ll be easy for me. Maybe. Oh, no. All right. Bombs away. 380. See if I can be the one to find a fair way. I don’t know. It’s dry. So, I’m going to go rip an eight iron. Cut around these trees. Jeez. Oh, wow. Just a class shot. Just a class shot out of the kid. Good shot. Thank you. I knew what I was doing. I’m playing mental games just like you taught me. Just like you taught me, Josh. Yeah. He had to put it around that tree, too. I think Ash is the best at pulling off the hero shots. Sometimes when it’s simple, just got the raw talent, right? He’s very talented. And then some of the simple shots like that last approach he had was way easier than that. And he hit he didn’t hit the green. I am I actually have I can get over this tree. I think I’m 100 out. I’m going to open the face a little front of the stance. Lucky to be alive. Middle of the green. Oh yeah. Nice shot, dude. Thank you from there. All right, we have a tough angle in here. 80 yards, Josh. 80 yards. Oh, run up there. Pretty good, huh? Good shot. Sit. I’ll take that for sure. Should we give this to Ash? Yeah. Good boy. Are you sure? No, I’m going have to see that. Yeah, I was being sarcastic. Especially after that response. No, I deserve it. I gave him one of those. He did last time on the video. Great shot, Ash. Good boy. Sorry. Really, dude? It just me. It just slips out. It slips out. I didn’t You got to boy me. All right. Owen, remember the physics here. All right. Sometimes I just think words come out of your mouth. They just fall right out downhill. Go. Even everything a little bit short today. All right. For the birdie, go back to one over. We kind of need to make this uh get back into contention. John back to one over. We’re recovering after that OB on hole one. Good. Good. Ash, good. Good. No, you don’t want it. You don’t want You don’t agree. No. Okay. Good putt. Thanks. You know, Josh Owen is brown. He’s like a He’s like a golden s’more. Like a teddy bear. Yeah, he’s a teddy bear. It’s like when it’s just right. Say he’s like You’re so right. Caramel. He’s like caramel. It’s like one in a million how you put the perfect marshmallow in the fire and it Owen turned out like that. I will take that and I will run a mile with that compliment. Thank you. Thank you. All right, four iron. This is uh arguably two or three of the dinky holes on the back nine. The green is really tough on this side. The green’s really tough. It’s just a dked up hole. You got rubbish there and then you got tree there. It’s kind of like rubbish. It works. It worked. I slipped, but it is good. Doing the same thing as Ash. Four iron off the tea. That was money. Good swing, dude. Ideal. Boom, baby. Same thing as the gentleman here, Fang. Oh yeah. Wow. That’s kind of scary for a sec, Josh. That was a little sketch. That was a little sketch. I want to tell you something. Tell me. And I mean this in the best way possible. Okay. You are very, very focused on the other people’s golf when you play golf. And I think you would be a lot better. You think I am? And you are very dialed in on your own game. Really? Yeah. How did you when did you think about when did that come? Just from playing the round and every shot you’re like Johnny, what are you doing here? Owen, what are you doing here? What are you hitting here? I’m going pitching wedge. You’re a silly guy. I had to do it. No, no, no. Respect for that one. That one was funny. 140 pitching wedge in hand into the wind a little bit. Holy moly. We’re on. What do you got, Ash? Same number. 140 yards. Something on the green hair is fine. I’ll take par on this hole any day. Oh, we’re going to have to work our hands here. We’re 150 to the center of the screen. And I’m just going to go slightly into the window and play like 145 with the pitching wedge. Yeah, this is a Bailey swing. Very Bailey. No confidence. It’s like sit. Go in kind of a harder kickoff than I thought. I think I sent it a little too far. Oh, this is uh not where I wanted to be. I kind of thought it was going to be softer up here so it’ stay, but not ideal. Not ideal. I do have green to work with. Go. Oh, that’s honestly not too bad. All right, par save here. Unfortunate approach. So, why didn’t you hit I don’t know, Ash. Honestly, that was so good, too. That would have counted for my par. Never. Good up and down. That one was straight out of the John McCarthy handbook. That was straight out of the I’m not going to pull a John McCarthy and leave it 3 in short. So, I made sure to get it there. Josh, I want that belt. I want that belt. Get it to the hole for once. You have wussy syndrome today, man. I do. Good putt. Thanks. All right. Keeps me at two under. Ashton, one under. John, one over. Two over. Two over. Hole five. Owen has the lead. We got a 300 yard par4. See that bunker in the distance? I’m going to try and I’m going to try and draw it off that wind’s off our right, so it’s it’s going to help it. It’s going to be tough over there. It’s wide open over there. All right, I’m just going to aim over the the red tea box. Going for the green here. Ah, holy moly. Is that going to be in over there? I don’t know. It’s going to be close. That should be sick. That’ll be all right. It’s going to sit. There’s going to be tree trouble. Mine might be out, which sucks. But round two, we’re going to hit a provisional out there. That was much better. Be good. Good ball. Yeah. Good kick. People comment about it like, “Put your hat forward.” Your dad doesn’t like it when you wear your hat backwards, right? No. They say it’s a respect thing, but what are you respecting? It’s the old tradition, I guess. Yeah. I don’t I don’t know. Like, who ever said you had to wear your hat back or like forward? What? Maybe the guy design that designed the hat wanted it backwards. All of a sudden, people started wearing forward. He’s like, “No, it’s not what it’s made for.” What did you just say, Josh? I worked here for like three summers. Really? Yeah. What did you do? Uh, I was grounds, so I would replace like the holes. I’d move the holes. And did you like it? I got to golf for free. So, that means no, dude. It was tough. No. working here gave me a lot of respect for the people that take care of golf courses. Oh yeah. Are you going to do like a low shot? Yeah. I’ve got to punch this. Are you kidding me, Ashton? I was in some cart rivets, so we just moved them back. Took my ground under repair. We got a lot of green to work with here. So, throw it up at the middle and roll it up to the pin. These greens are like trampolines. Yeah, good recovery. Nice shot, Owen. Thanks. Oh, can you run up there and mark that quick? Yeah, I’m trying to get a marker. I got one for you. Okay. Oh my. Well, there goes the marker. Nice throw. This is why Johnny played golf. Run, run. Thought that was going to be perfect. All right, Josh. Anything on the green? No big numbers. Sit down. Soft. Yeah, it’s hard. Oh, holy. Owen, if your freaking marker wasn’t there, that would have gone in. That was the plan, Josh. That was the plan. Got the line. No excuse. That was disgusting. I thought I had a a vacuum seal on that putt and I just got robbed. All right, that’s for my bogey. This would be a good good bogey after going be off this tea box. Yeah, good bogey. Super good bogey. Thank you. Interesting match. Even one. One under. Yeah, I’m one. One under. Ash. One over. And I’m two over. What do we have here? What do we have here? Into the wind. Getting 157. Yeah. Into the wind. Yep. Y. You want to lead us off, John? I have the honors, my friend. Okay. Hole six. I’m I’m in the last place right now. I need to have some good holes coming down. Stop drawing it so much. I should just aim about 40,000 yards right and then I’ll hit the green. Eight iron in hand. Just going for the center of the green. Whoa. That was a Is that a little How’sley or is that just looks like the water? Yeah. No, it’s in for sure. I don’t like that you assume the worst. I just used my eyes. Okay, I’ve got an eight iron. Door’s open. I was feeling I don’t know where they went. I I did see John go over to the left. Time to capitalize after that bad bad hole. Pier. Oh my gosh. Be the one. Be the one. Oh, go in. I thought that had a chance, dude. I thought that that looked good the entire way. Hey, I just slowed everything down there. Took my time. It’s always the knockdown. It’s always the knockdown. Always was, always will be. I just never trust him like with his judgment of where the ball lands. I don’t think he ser I seriously don’t think he can see. He’s always like, “Oh, that’s out.” But it’s never out. Learn how to have some good judgment of the golf ball, bro. Dude, how about you buy me some glasses? That’s what you need. Stop whining. We’re just going to try to fly this to the pin. So, we’re just going to put it on the green. Owen Calister stepping up to his wedge shot. I will say this is harder than the one I had back on hole four. Tim catches it nicely. Got to go. Oh, and it does go. Yeah. Good shout out to the kid. Thanks. Back to you, Jerry. Need this up and down. Nicely got to sit, though. All right, I’m going to go for the chip in here. I’m going to be a little aggressive. Not bad, John. Pretty good. Is that good or bad? It’s bad. It’s bad. This is a major. I know. Didn’t know if you guys had a heart. Apparently not. Doesn’t mean we don’t have a heart. It means it means we don’t have a heart. Sorry, John. I’m heartless. Both of you. No heart. All right, Jerry. This one is slinging a little bit left to right. Um, I mean, I’ve never seen a kid more dialed in my life. Looks like it’s a great roll. Oh, what a putt. Almost in the back door. I didn’t have wussy syndrome there. That was the first time I didn’t have that. He said it there himself, folks. No wussy syndrome. Taps in for bogey. It’s good effort. Got to appreciate it. Back to you, Jerry. All right, left to right up the hill. I want nothing more than this to fall. Good birdie. Thank you. It’s a big hole right there. That is a big hole after that double. John four’s bogey. All right, we got ourselves a match, ladies and gentlemen. What does this take us to? I’m even. I’m three over. I’m even, right? Yeah. Okay. All right. Here’s the thing, Josh. I’ve technically used up all my strokes I’ve been given out here today. Ashton is like full confident. I think he we’re going to start to see him get a little comfortable cuz he’s like, “Oh, I’ll win.” Kiss the loser. Less experienced golfer out here. This is my time to go. Yeah. Just put on the gas pedal. Hole seven par four. I’m three. I’m three down to the boys. Yeah. I was going to say, no way you make a bogey and take my honors. I’m not taking it. You were ready. Wanted to scare you a little bit. Dude, last time I played this hole, I uh watched somebody that I was playing with hit the car. It’s got to be a terrible miss to miss over there. Imagine coming out of that whatever that place is and having a shattered window. Did you guys just run? No, we just were like, “Well, well, what now?” Shouldn’t park there. Four iron fairway. Four iron hook. Get lucky. Saw it come down. All right, I’m going hybrid off this T box. Switching it up from Ash. How old is that club you got right now? Very old. Really? I mean, look at it, dude. That’s got to be your age now. The TP rescue. But yeah, no, this is a regular shaft, too. This is what I say. What kind of shaft is that? Check this out. That’s got to be 15 years old. Yeah, dude. I hit it. Well, watch here. Just kidding. No. Is that out, dude? Boy, there is water there. Sit. Dang it. That’ be tight. It’ll be close. Dang it. Dang it. All right, I’m going to go a hybrid. It’s a 370 yard hole. This will leave me about 100 in. I’m with Ash. All right, boys. We got some treasure hunting. First on the channel. Sour gushers. Super sour gushers. Wow, these are so good. I’ve had them before. Give him a Oh, man. They’re all red and blue, too. Um, Owen and I just rated these. Owen 85, me 87. Oh, the camera was in time-lapse mode, so you guys actually saw none of that. These are very good. These are better than the original. So good. Pretty good. It helps that they’re really warm, too. Mhm. I’m going to go 87. 87. I’m going to go 82. All right, Josh. We went out. Really been struggling off the tea today, but we have 192 into this par4. Long ways. Just going to put it on the green. Oh, this looks good. Me the number. No clue. Might have went long. That sounded like trees. I heard them. Oh, okay. Green’s pretty big. So, unfortunate tree trouble. I’m going to go a sixiron. Kind of left to avoid the water. Maybe a little bit of cut on it. It’s a really tough shot. See if I can be the hero of my own story. set. Yeah, that’s actually really good. I’ll take that any day. Up and down for par. All right. Nearly the same exact problem as John here. Sixiron in hand. Punch cut. That’s a B on me. Oh, that could be good, too. Might need to sit. Sit. All right. It’s not a bad I’ll take that. That’s good. Yeah. From there, you can’t do much better. I like Baby by Justin Bieber. That’s Or no If I Was Your Boy Never Let You Go. Not any of his new music. No, I went out again. Let’s try to do something here. Go in. Go in. Oh. Oh, good tap. Thank you. Oh, no way. Sit. Too hard. I got scared from ashes. All right, we got like a 10footer for my double bogey. Let’s make this What an up and down. Good putt, dude. Your up and down game today has been on. It’s been saving me. It doesn’t move a lick. I thought I made that. Hit my line. Can’t be mad. That was a good putt. I think mine’s pretty straight, too. It’s just going to move a hair left. Good boy. Bogey. Two bogeies. Two bogeies and a double. I will say next hole drivable. Like I It’s a 3wood for all of us. So it’s anyone’s game. Never seen this before. Whoa. I did not like that. All right, I’m I’m This is a very goodable hole, but it can get away from you. Uh it gets tied up by the green. And I’m going to try and just draw a 3-wood off those bunkers. 285. Wow. Wow. Kind of something like that. That’s good cuz with it being firm, that could roll right up there. Oh my god. [Laughter] That’s pretty good. That was like a stinger like riser. That was sick. Oh, this could be good. Oh my gosh. Does that have to sit downwind? Oh boy. Holy boy. Did you hit it over that hill? Yeah, he carried it. I might have just gone right next to that guy. I hit that so well. And now my chances are looking about.01%. All right, I got threewood in hand. I got to go for it. I mean, Ash is one up. He’s greenside. He put the pressure on. That’s respect, man. Right. Miss here is fine on the right. You’ll be fine up there. Fine. Yeah. I was just scared of going left. I’m going to say right now, I mean, I could get up and down for a birdie, but my chances are looking slimmer. You’re down one dash. Down one. He’s going to have his third win if he takes it home. I can make up and down easy here. Yeah, I’ve gotten up and down a lot today. That’s been saving me after you robbed me last episode. I did not rob you. I did not rob you. If anything, you almost robbed me. All right, this is going to take some precision, but I need to be aggressive cuz I don’t want to go out with there’s no point to be to play simple. Very not committed. Oh no, bro. Close. That almost was really good. Almost isn’t good enough. I’m devouring these things, dude. It’s okay. That’s what I got him for. I’m so hungry. I just realized. Me, too. There’s a bunker right in between me and the pin. I have to fly it almost at the pin. I’m going to hit this really high. Go. Oh, that could be so good. It could be good. Great shot, though. Thanks. Sounded good. About 8 ft. 8 ft. Wow. That’s good. Good shot. That’s really good. Got that for my birdie. Yeah, this is um this is a little stinker. I’m going to try and land it. In an ideal world, it lands on the back side of that slope and kind of skirts back there. I’m going to try it. Oh, that’s really good, too. Good shot. It’s a good touch. Touch the class. I like that. Going to hammer it in there. Yo, this series that was the exact opposite of a hammer. Oh my gosh. The series, what are you doing? The series is not about What? What are you doing? The series is not about finishing strong. It’s about winning. And I concede. What? I’m five over. It’s not about finishing strong. It’s about winning the belt. Okay. Wow. Okay. You’re done with a match. You concede. I mean, I always like to finish. It’s just like if he makes this, he’s even. It’s you two vers each other. He’s not going to shoot five strokes worse than me on the last. Last video was me versus John. Now it’s me versus Ashen. But this time, I’m chasing. You like chasing your nut. because I would like to formally announce my new cameramanship opportunity here at JNA. Did not have it going that way. I’ll let you clean that up. Good putt. Is that par? Yep. Good par. Thank you. That keeps me at two over. Good putt. Thanks. All right. I’m going to have to make up two strokes going into hole nine, which is definitely possible. That’s a hard out of it. Hole nine is a hard hole. No, gentlemen. Final hole. I’m going to be the mediator here today. Just like I said, I like to finish strong most of the times, but going for the belt. I want the focus to be on you, gentlemen. Today, we’re competing for this. It’ll either be you the winner or you the winner. I had this for a good week now. So, Owen won it last time. The current record for the series is Ash with two wins. Owen with one. If today episode four, Ash wins, he will have a three. I think it’s calling my name. A three piece. It’s calling my name. Belt on the line. Owen down two. Chasing Ash. Even par. See if we can finish under par. I’m out here. Honestly, I feel like I should. Um Owen, I want you to play well. Yeah, good luck, dude. That could be really good. or just bad. Oh, that could be really good. Like you’re good. I think I got it around the corner. It’s going to be by the skin of my teeth. Skin of my There’s no skin on my teeth, so that didn’t make sense. It doesn’t sound good. There’s no skin on your teeth. So, why would you say that? That’s the point. That’s the point. Oh, okay. Cuz there’s no Yeah, I said that and I was like, what? That doesn’t There’s no room. Got it. Stay short of that. O right into the bunker. Dang. It’s all right. Maybe miracles will come true. There’s always a chance. I’m going to hit a sixiron. I think that should be just enough to get over this lip. Oh Dang it. Where’d that go? It’s on the green. Yeah. Gets puts the pressure on him. You got him nervous. Oh, I know. And Josh, I really can’t believe that. Yeah. You must have hit like a speed slide. I must have hit something in it. Must have gotten a horrible kick that we couldn’t see. He’s trying to punch into the fairway here. About all I could do. Smart play. Or was that a ball? Is that his ball? This is your ball right here. He already hit. You’re kidding me. What’s the ruling? I don’t know how what happens now. I don’t know. It depends how technical you guys want to get. I think technically I have to hit that one. I I’m going to play by the rules. I’m not going to win just because I want to. I was right. I knew it was good. I can’t believe you didn’t see that. Well, it was on a white It was on a white plate in the tucked in the corner with the grass over. Yeah, but all of us looking to like Jeez, dude. Well, we all went right. Everyone went there. No one looked over here. That’s golf, though. Wow. 139. Good thing you’re right off the green. Yeah. I’m not going to say it, but I think I heard a sploosh. I think he does. Center of the green. Cut one in. Center of the green and it stayed straight. That’ll be fine. Good shot, Ash. Perfect. Thank you. I I thought I heard a sploosh, but I wasn’t going to hurt say anything. We got 100 yards. Exactly. Let’s just make it. That’d be fun. Yeah. Pulled it. Yikes. Dude, this course tested me today. Holy moly. I know. Everyone thinks you should come here and just destroy it. But no, it’s if you don’t hit the ball well, if you don’t hit it straight, you’re done. Yeah, you’re done. I want to finish strong. Yeah. I’m always an advocate for that. Never quitting. Never out of it. That’s all you can do. Yeah, good touch. Thanks. Down the hill, right to left, the JA Championship Belt. It’s all you needed. Pulled it, but that’s all I needed. That boy Ash. Ladies and gents, we have our fourth episode winner of the JNA mini major belt. his third win in the series. Three out of four taking it home. Yeah, man. That’s honorable. That was not the easiest playing out there today. You fought the hardest and deserve that belt. All of us all of us grinded. Good work, man. Thank you. That was good. Good win. Thank you. Mad respect. It’s four episodes in the book. This thing’s coming back home to daddy. If you guys want to watch episode number three, you can click it right here. It’s a good one.

  1. I play my league at Swan Valley…I know who the guy is if you want his name out there…and just an FYI he's an absolute hard ass is everything that he does…Also they send groups of the back and front randomly all the time.

  2. One time they young man at the desk told us to start on 10 (as long as we were not impeding play). On 10th green, the Head Pro comes out and escorts us to the 1st tee box like we were criminals. I was FURIOUS.

  3. I live in Michigan and we could do a fan challenge where I beat all three of you guys 😂❤

  4. Yo I want to go roast this old man on their google reviews. What a jacka$$ 😂😂

  5. If you’re only playing 9 you still gotta ask if you can go off back. Old dude probably would’ve still said “no” but would’ve avoided him almost having a stroke lol.

  6. I’ve been a member of the PGA for 40 years. The point that’s being missed is what is so special about these guy’s. The people with earlier times that paid the same amount as these 3 should have more of preference to tee off #10 before these 3. Just because they’re doing a video should not give them any more preference. And I’m sure they mentioned when checking in that they were going to be filming 🙄

  7. John OMG your hands are ahead of the😮 ball on every tee shot! No wonder you hook it so bad. Your hands should not be ahead and ball and before you hit it you even press forward more! Come on John!

  8. Try that at a private club and let me know how you make out 😂😂regardless of whether you’re playing a private, semi private, public, military, or resort course “ALL” courses have policies and procedures. If you’re a REAL golfer you should RESPECT all types of!!

  9. Whether they were right or wrong doesn't matter. What matters is the way the old dude addressed them. THAT is the issue. He came at them with an attacking and hostile tone and attitude, which puts anyone but Jesus on the defensive. JAO all mentioned why and apologized and the pro still wouldn't back off the with the hostile attitude. Shame on him not JAO.

  10. Regardless of right or wrong, you put an old man on social media blast. Pretty unprofessional of you and not a good look for the GoodGood brand. You have to be the bigger and better person. You could have i left it out, and no one would have cared. Now you look like snotty millennial brats.

  11. If you searched for more then 3mins for the ball on 9 then it was unplayable. If it was less than that time then you could have still played it, even after dropping and hitting your 3rd.

  12. Nothing Pisses off "Old people" more than "Young people " with a camera thinking they're entitled just because they have a YouTube channel. If you want to film on a course, GET PERMISSION first. The old Do it now and ask for permission later only works with your parents.

  13. it's really sad to see this brotherhood breaking. it's been noticeable for awhile, especially in AZ when John clearly was the better golfer than Ashton, which John didn't gloat or brag, and even said in some episodes "ashton is the better golfer." But instead of ashton praising John for his growth, improvement, and development in making his game better and to make JnA, remember J is in their page name, ashton is taking it as a negative. like John is the sidekick and ashton is the all time best. how many videos have BOTH John and Owen stated that ashton is the reason reason they got into golf in first place. the video of John and ashton competing for the recent tournament even made ashton look more like the bad guy…"I was going to give John the chance anyway." and then in the video get all pissed about it. it isnt a good look. also, if you watch any of ashtons "vlogs", he has addressed frustrations about personally things in his life affecting him. don't know those issues, he never went further. maybe it's the pressure of making a youtube channel…. who knows. I am not at all saying ashton is the sole blame for any of this. you can go back to the early videos and see, ashton was basically the butt of the jokes. he never dated anyone, his "cart girl" issues, it probably started as a joke, but I bet it gets personal after awhile. second, john and owen almost always stirred the pot in matches to try and piss off ashton. Whether it was the girls, not knowing certain pop culture references, the fact that he is more experienced than of all of them but isn't playing as well as others. They were in the wrong. if you go back and watch the episodes of mason and owen taking bets on the match, owen 9/10 chose John. And I dont know if was to create "drama" for the fans, in certain episodes ashton referenced "scripting" out our videos, "coming up with ideas." maybe they were trying to make ashton the "bad guy". I think it is more ego. But you look at all 3 of their social media accounts, there is not a lot of them together, just being bros. It's been months.

I thought including owen would be a good thing. owen has been a foundation of JnA just as much as John and ashton, for many episodes I thought his real name was "cam" man. he wants to be recognized as well. But since they started this "major" series, you can see and feel owen being attacked about "his extra strokes". ashton released a video on his blog a couple weeks ago and a bomb is going to come here soon. ……..many people thought it was John leaving the group…..looking at it now, I think it's owen. Owen isn't with them at the good good event. mason is. josh is. ……

ultimately, these guys were teens looking to get big on youtube and now they are 21. for me, it's just sad to see friendships break because of animosity, whether a friend is succeeding in becoming a better golfer, which was the whole point of this show. to COMPETE, not boast you are the best and not show up time and time again. it's being inclusive of the camera man who gets the great shots you guys have created for this show, to make it look better than other shows. I knowJosh is here, but whatever happened to the big guy who was on the show like once or twice. he played with ashton in an episode and owen played with josh? it's just sad to see the rise and what looks like fall of a group of friends we've watched for the last 2 years. I hope egos get pushed aside and relationships can heal.
