What if we ranked every team in the NFL today? Here are my power rankings as of week two of the NFL season. I’ll be going through all 32 teams and telling you who the best in the league is today. These power rankings are for only 2025, although I will be using logic from 2024 at times, but mostly just the first two weeks are taken into account. I will include injuries purely trying to rank which teams I think are better. And if you guys like these power ranks, like the video because then I’ll be updating it every two weeks. and comment where I got some of these wrong. We’ll come back and revisit the power rankings. Starting with 32, the worst team in the National Football League today is the New Orleans Saints. They’re 0 and2 just lost to M. Jones and the 49ers without their starter. And with Kell Moore and Brandon Staley, who already worked together on the Chargers once to create a trash squad, this duo coming back together doesn’t seem like it’s going to work out. But hopefully Kell Moore can find some footing and keep his job for future years. I think there’s a chance the Saints could be picking first overall this year. And the second worst team in the league in my eyes as of right now, it’s the Carolina Panthers. And I’m not a Panthers hater. Everyone always calls me that. I am a Panthers realist. Just like I’m not a Raiders hater. I’m a Raiders realist. And I’ve been saying it for years. The day they benched Bryce Young is the day they should have traded Bryce Young. Not that I think he’s an awful quarterback. I wouldn’t rank him the 31st quarterback in the NFL. You can see he has a bunch of Achilles heels that defenses tune in on and key in on and force him to overcome. And sometimes he doesn’t, sometimes he does. And just simply too much damage has been done in Carolina. They’ve started another rebuild and there just isn’t enough time for Bryce Young to prove that he is the star or the centerpiece of that rebuild. And I think it’s going to come down to it where Dave Canales is going to make the move again this season to bench Bryce Young. Ah, Bears come in at 30th. And I’m honestly kind of shocked to have them this low after only 2 weeks. But the reason I have them this low is because I knew their offense was going to take a little while to click. I just thought the Bears defense would be good this year and it just flat out isn’t. And now that the offense is struggling to get going early on in the year if Caleb Williams doesn’t find his groove, he’s another one like Bryce Young that could be at risk with a new head coach, a new staff with pressure to win immediately after what they did in Detroit. I don’t think the Bears are more committed to Caleb Williams than they are Ben Johnson at this point in time. I got the Dolphins at 29th. The reason I have him over the Bears because the Dolphins are a team that still has some pieces where if they get it all together, I think especially offensively, they could be a threat again. But right now, it is not coming together at all. They just lost that game to the Patriots in embarrassing fashion late. Mike McDaniels looked like a clown all offseason and it’s not going any better to start the year. Tyreek Hill seems disgruntled and wants to go back to KC. The Dolphins don’t have a lot looking up for them. This is another team that might want to consider trading people and blowing this up and starting to rebuild over. Which brings me to a hot topic here, and that is there’s some teams in the league that are going to lose their starting quarterbacks that are going to want to trade for a starting quarterback that they think can fill that role possibly better at the trade deadline, even if that starting quarterback is going to come back later in the year. Talking about teams like the Minnesota Vikings. I’m talking about teams if the Commanders lost Jaden Daniels from more time than we expect with the knee brain. Joe Burrow is now out for an extended period of time. Does Tua also become a trade asset? Because if the Dolphins trade Tyreek Hill, you’re giving in the season. He’s an average quarterback still in the NFL. And desperate teams that need to win now or just patch things together to get us into the postseason may be tempted. I’ve got the Titans next at 28. Is another rebuilding team that’s probably going to have a long season, but I do expect the Titans to start competing in some games here soon. They were competitive in that Broncos game. Browns are my 27th ranked team. Joe Flacco. Not a great start to the year. Two bad losses in a row. Joe Flacco still has it up here, but watching him this year, even compared to last year, you realize that man’s 40. I do think the Browns backup will get in there at some point, whether that’s Sher Sanders or Dylan Gabriel. The New York Giants are my 26th ranked team as of today. The Giants have shown two things. The first week, they showed that their defense might be a little bit scary. They were able to slow down Jaden Daniels, but then in their second week, their defense gave up the game 40-37 and late in the game when they needed a big stop, Dak Prescott walked down the field with ease, got into field goal range to force overtime and then in overtime outlasted them. Giants offense goes off against the Cowboys and of course the defense fails. And then the week before when the defense plays well, the Giants offense couldn’t move the ball at all. Russell Wilson went in week one from looking like he probably should retire to 450 yards in week two. And this is the crazy inconsistencies that we’re probably going to see out of the Giants some more like we’ve seen in previous years. And the thing is, you can’t even demand to put in the backup quarterback. Again, the starter went for 450 yards. I’ve got the other New York team, the New York Jets at 25. The Justin Fields injury would tank the Jets close to the bottom of the rankings. So, we’ll see what happens with that. He is questionable to play in this week’s game at least. But I think throughout the course of the season, the Jets are going to be one of those teams that ends up around 500, seven wins and they just surprise a few teams. They upset a team there and they get a few wins over bad teams throughout the rest of the season. But I don’t think the Jets are going to be playoff contenders in the AFC. Patriots are at 24th. And this was one of the teams that I was kind of watching as they might make the playoffs out of nowhere. And they hung in that Miami game. Ended up coming back late in the game and won it on a walk-off. The Patriots defense does not look like what I expected behind a Mike Vrabel mentality. They are not pounding the rock the way I expected them to with Arandre Stevenson and Trevon Henderson yet. I think they still can get to those two things. They still can improve at those two things. But for now, even at one and one, I have the Patriots all the way down here at 24. One spot below the team they lost to in week one, the Las Vegas Raiders. And I haven’t thought the Raiders were a good team from the jump. They’re only this high because they did beat the Patriots. I have to give them some respect. They’re a one-on-one football team, but when you look across the board at what happened against the Chargers at the quarterback position, the offensive line struggled even without Cle Mack on the field. Their secondary was like butter when Herbert dropped back to pass and then Naji closed the game out late in known running scenarios. Not very much good for the Raiders to look at. The only silver lining is that you have a coach that sincerely has seen it all and been through it all and can fix all of these problems. At least you have a chance. But that game showed why it doesn’t matter if you have a great running back if you don’t have an offensive line and that the Raiders for multiple years now should have drafted tackle in the first round. I’ve been saying it. I’m pretty sure Raiders fans been saying it, but they refuse to do it. Next is a team you probably don’t expect to see this low. The Denver Broncos are my 22nd ranked team and they are the most overrated team in football. They got overrated quarterback. They got overrated wide receivers. They got overrated running backs. Their offensive line is not good just flat out. They have a massively overrated defense. like it’s the best in the league when it’s probably edge of top 10 and we’re already seeing it here in the first two weeks. The Jaguars are next. They were a very hard team to rank. I just don’t trust Trevor Lawrence. I’ve watched two games from him this year and I’ve seen a lot of good. I’ve also seen some plays that make me think, is this your first game and you’re supposed to be like a generational talent? I have them one slot below the 0 and2 Texans, which might be kind of a hot take and it’s kind of a ballsy take because the Texans and Jaguars play this week and they can immediately make me look silly if the Jaguars upset. I actually think the Jaguars are favorites in that game. But all the Texans got to do is figure out this offensive line problem and I think CJ Stra will start firing again. We’ve seen glimpses of it and I think that happens against a familiar foe in the Jaguars. Steelers are the 19th ranked team. I don’t know what’s going on with the Steelers defense through these first two weeks, but I hope they get it together because if they do, they can be scary. After all those years of not having a quarterback, now they have a quarterback and they have no defense. Kudos also to that Seahawks defense because Aaron Rogers looked like an unconscious man against the Jets the week before and the Seahawks defense looks to be legit. I might have been wrong about the Seahawks. I know you guys have been waiting where are the Chiefs going to fall in the rankings. I have met 18th and again this is 2025’s rankings. I’m not including their AFC title and their Super Bowl run last year. I am including some logic to have them even at 0 and2 above a couple one and one teams. That’s not impossible in the power rankings to happen especially in week two. But I also don’t have him in the top 15. Now, if they get Worthy back and he starts to stretch the field and get Kelsey some more space, get Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Pekco going and that Chiefs defense can really show up this week and prove that they’re the same team once it’s all put together, they probably will rise up in my rankings a lot just from getting one win. But if they lose, I will have warrant. I will have mandate. I will have reason to tank the Chiefs in my power ranks. They’re playing the Giants who are ranked at 26th just for an understanding at how much I would tank them. 17th I got them Dallas Cowboys. Dak Prescott actually looks like Patrick Mahomes this year. He’s balled out through the first two games only not 2-0 with an upset over the defending champion Eagles because of some dropped passes. One thing that worries me is that Cowboys defense does not look good. It does not look as good without Micah Parsons like Jerry Jones said it was going to be. They’re not getting to the quarterback as much and they’re not covering things up down the field as much. It’s big eyesore and Russell Wilson’s putting up 400 plus yards passing on you in 2025. At 16th, I had the Minnesota Vikings even down JJ McCarthy. And I’m kind of feeling this out cuz I could lower the Vikings a lot if they look bad with Carson Wentz also. But my theory is is that Kevin Oonnell makes it work with veteran quarterbacks. I thought it was going to work with JJ McCarthy right when the news came out that he was injured. Either the ankle sprain so bad that they knew immediately he wasn’t going to be able to play in the next week or the Vikings are looking for a friendly way to try out Carson Wentz. So, slight tweak on JJ McCarthy. He goes down back onto the IR. Not even the IR. He’s injured again. Carson Wentz goes in. Now, if Carson Wentz executes the offense well, the timing’s better and things are working out better for the Justin Jefferson connection. I don’t know if the Vikings go back to JJ McCarthy. And that would absolutely suck cuz he has to wait a whole another year to get back in there next year. But, it might be good for him because the timing is just way off with McCarthy in there. We’ve only seen like one good drive out of the Vikings offense all season so far. And this was maybe the best, if not one of the best offenses last year. Something that’s redeeming for the Vikings and why I still have them in the top half of the league right now at one and one. That defense does look legit. They are confusing quarterbacks and I think they’re going to continue to do it all year as long as Brian Flores is the coordinator. Washington Commander sit at 1-1 and they’re another confusing one to rank. I have them at 15th. If they have Jaden Daniels on the field and he’s healthy, he’s deal with the knee sprain right now. I like this 15th place ranking. If he’s out, I’d probably lower them a little bit more. Don’t know for sure at this point in the week if he’s going to play this week. There’s still some major question marks for the Commanders to address to be the team I thought they would be in the preseason. Big question mark. Can the offensive line get it together? Because Jay Daniels can’t do anything if he’s getting hit immediately. And then the second thing, can the Commanders defense be okay? At least we just need an average performances from the defense. And I think that their offense can really get cooking as long as Debo Samuel’s healthy, Terry McLaren healthy, Zack Irks stays out there. I know they just lost Austin Eckler, but they got Bill, they got other running backs there. Would love to have Brian Robinson Jr. back. Vikings and Commanders are both kind of that breaking point season where it could go either direction and they got to rely on backup quarterbacks like Marcus Mariota and Carson Owens potentially to pivot them either direction. I’ve got the Seahawks at 15th and I honestly wanted to raise them up a little bit because I disrespected them too much in the preseason. And the reason I’m saying I disrespect them is not because I’m all of a sudden having a change of heart on Sam Darnold. I still think he’s the same Sam Darnold. I’m not having a change of heart on the Seahawks offense at all. Actually, it’s a Seahawks defense that looks even better than I expected. And with what Mike McDonald did for the Ravens and is now doing for the Seahawks, he’s earned a little bit of confidence from me going into a week-to-eek basis. And we saw the Seahawks defense get good at the end of last year and now it looks like it’s picking up where it left off and getting even better this year. 13th, I have the Atlanta Falcons. And I think that this can be one of the best teams in the league depending on their quarterback. And the reason I have them over the Seahawks is because they’ve had some good drives. Bean looks really good. We haven’t even gotten Drake London involved on a mass scale yet. Kyle Pittz looked better. That Falcons defense looks good. They’re finally getting pressure on the quarterback. The DBs are getting back in coverage and I think they just lost AJ Terrell to an injury. So, that’s going to hurt them a little bit. And then if the Falcons could just convert in the red zone a little better, this could be a scary scary team. I have my 13th right now, still behind the Cincinnati Bengals with Jake Browning. People are calling me crazy for this ranking, but the Bengals have found their way to 2 and 0 despite Joe Burrow and the offense not really showing up week one. than Joe Bro getting injured in week two. We got to give the Bengals some credit for still being 2 and 0 through some adversity, but we also can be real with ourselves that this could go the other direction at any moment. And I actually think the Vikings will beat the Bengals this week. That would lower the Bengals in my rankings a lot. But right now, what is the argument to put the Vikings over the Bengals? What is the argument to put the Commanders over the Bengals? The Bengals are team that is really good with Joe Burrow, but could be really bad without Joe Burrow. We got to see. We’ve seen them piece it together as well. The 49ers come in just outside the top 10. Another team already without their starting quarterback. M. Jones is in there. But as I’ve been saying for years, I don’t feel that that job is that hard for NFL level quarterbacks. And I still don’t feel that Brock Perie is this out of this world quarterback. I think that him and M. Jones can operate this thing at similar levels. And we saw it in the first game. We’ll see if that continues as we get into the season. I actually think I have the Cardinals winning this week in my picks, but it’s a hard game to pick. I do have the Cardinals at 2 and 0 right now above the 49ers as the 10th ranked team in the league. This team is kind of scary to rank inside the top 10 cuz they could fail me at any moment. They haven’t really put a full four quarters together, but they have put three and that was enough to win their first two games. Can Kyler Murray really hit a consistency stride in feeding Marvin Harrison Jr.? We see it week in week out. You don’t know if Marvin Harrison is going to have a big game or not? He is that level wide receiver. We need to get him the ball on the same level as some of these other top blight top 10 wide receivers. That’s going to open up things for the rushing attack so much more. And that’s going to open up things for Trey McBride. Let’s see how they do against the Niners this week. At nine, I don’t know what the [ __ ] is going on, but the Colts are at ninth. They deserve the respect after two big wins. Don Jones playing like an MVP. But unfortunately, every time he does this, something catastrophic happens. Bucks are at eight and they haven’t even played their best yet. But they have been flexing and Baker Mayfield’s been showing off that clutch gene. All that experience has finally started to add up and when it gets late in the game, he’s become an ice cold killer. I still have the Lions at seventh even with the loss. I don’t know, maybe that was a flu gloss or maybe the Packers are just that good. But what we just saw against the Bears looked more like that old Lions offense that we’re used to. They literally put up 50 points again. The Lions are one step below the undefeated Los Angeles Chargers who I have at sixth. And just to prove I’m unbiased, I have them outside the top five. I also have them ranked below the Rams, who I have at fifth. I have them ranked below those two teams because I wanted to show some good faith here in my first power rankings that I will not put the Chargers at first until they earn the spot. But also the Chargers injuries are already starting to add up and we need to see this Chargers defense in a full game against a team like the Broncos this week without Khil Mack cuz it is a big difference. The Rams who I have at fifth still have their edge rusher, still have their Dline intact. Matthew Stafford looks healthy enough and their offense looks like it could be unstoppable when they start to get Kyron Williams clicking, which you know Shawn McVey will. Packers, that Micah Parson’s trade is looking to pay off so far. We’ll see if that Packers offense can continue to keep pace. And then I have the highest ranked one and one team, the Baltimore Ravens, because their one loss was to the Buffalo Bills, who I’ve ranked in second in the NFL right now. And the Bills had that second ranking literally by way of that win over the Ravens, which was a comeback that the Ravens won for basically the entire first three quarters and a half of the game. So that’s why I have them neck andneck right here. And then at first, I can’t dethrone them yet cuz they are undefeated. Although their wins have not been as dominant as we’ve seen in the last season and a half or so. I have the Philadelphia Eagles still ranked as the best team in football. One, that advantage they get from the tush push staying in the game and them still using it so much. Every series starts off at every eight or first and nine. They don’t even have to get a full 10 yards. That’s an amazing advantage that they’ve already been using to win games this year. I also can’t take them out of that first slot because they still have Saquon Barkley. They haven’t even used AJ Brown yet and they’re undefeated. Here are my full power rankings 1 through 32. The full list, every single team. Comment down below what you think of my power rankings and what changes you would make. Where am I absolutely wrong? Where am I absolutely right about these? 1. Could be worse. Nothing wrong with putting Ravens that high. I’m a fellow Charger fan and I sure wouldn’t want to play them.
