We are 45 minutes northwest of downtown Chicago. Yes, the skyline is shining and so are the fans at Keer Lakes Golf Club. And what started with friends posting their golf videos on YouTube has turned into a sensation. Good is a powerful force in the game with a huge legion of fans. And today, members of Good will team up with some of the best female creators in golf for a fun day of match play. And there you see those fans, thousands of them making their way to historic Kemper Lakes. Just a gorgeous fall day. Temps in the 60s, sunshine, a bit of breeze that will be in play, 15 to 20 mph. As for the field, we’re going to have eight teams of two. And here we go. Garrett Clark, one of the original Good members, will be teaming up with Paige Boranic, who has an awesome following. Stephen Castanada, another good original with Savannah Bobby. Matt Sharf, he’ll be teaming up with Kaylin Henderson who played at the University of Indy. Sha Shawn Walsh with Sarah Winter. Shawn a great player from Gonzaga. Big Mo Malloi Toasala be teaming up with Haley Olstrom out of Bend, Oregon. Brad Donkey, great player. Played in the Masters, played at the US Open. He’ll be with Tanya Tari and Bobby Broers. Homecoming for him. He’s a Chicago guy. and he’ll be with another Chicago land person in Alexis Mowski and John McCarthy with Marissa Wensler. All right, we jump ahead to the green this a moment ago and this is Garrett just short. That’s good. [Applause] Oh yeah, that looks good. Oh, that’s that’s so that’s so great shot there by Paige Ferretti. Good. That hurts. Now we’ll jump back to the first hole in the quarterfinal match. And this is Brad Donkey from off the fairway. Oh, what a shot. And now Garrett, that was a moment ago with an opportunity to win the match. And yes, so Gary Clark and Paige Sporanic defeat Stephen Castanada and Savannah lobby and they advance. Best of luck to pick them up then fine. It’s totally fine. Shall see. It’ be a fun match those two. Meanwhile, the third shot now for Tanya on the par five. Oh, about to say trick shot Tanya. Trick shot Tanya. His t-shirt. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yeah, you’re good. You’re fine. Good one. He had a pretty good drive. This is a very narrow par4. It is straightforward, but again, very narrow. It’s the little wins, brother. It’s a little wins. And this is Alexis. Third shot. [Applause] And nice little pitch there. [Applause] She’s going to have to try to get this one closer to the flag. So soft. That’s fine. Not our best. It’s going to be a little slower. In all likelihood needs to make this to tie the hole. And here’s Tanya on the 13th. Nice shot. Red and Tanya converted to win the match on the 11th and he makes that one on the par five. And that duo advances and the final quarterfinal match. Team Chicago, Bubby and Alexis taking on John and Marissa. This is the second shot from Marissa with her partner pretty much out of play. And this was a gutsy second. [Music] Now John with the eagle attempt doesn’t go, but some was up close enough and he’s able to knock this in. And John and Marissa advance to the sibis. Todd, do you like straight putts? Johnny, Brad Donkey with an incredible mammoth shot, showing off his power. It’s ridiculous. Brad Dulki’s drive nearly scared the flag. Oh my god. Oh yeah, good shot, Johnny. He made that look a lot easier than it was. You guys, he didn’t ace this par4, but I think he’d settle for eagle. Oh, good shot. Yeah, good effort. Yeah, that trick a lot. Was there [Applause] Wow. I mean, you got to make a good stroke to get this ball at the bottom of the cup. And there you have it. She made it look easy. That was not an easy putt. So, where are we doing this chip off? Chip off. All right. So, we have our first chip off of the day. I don’t know. Yes. Nice effort there. Very nice. And that should do it. Brad Donkey doesn’t have to hit a shot. And there’s his partner Tanya saying, “Yeah, great shot, Carter.” In her Kiwi accent, he’s going to have to stop this ball pretty early cuz it’s going to roll away. Yeah, it’s got to sit. That’s got to sit. See his [Applause] love. [Music] Wow. And he and Sarah win the championship. Oh no. How do you do that? How do you do that? Oh man. I mean I guess chip off. I was staying in the fairway if we do. How do you do that? But to be a hole and again. That’s right. So we go back to the tea here on 18. Needle over down for nothing. All right. This should not be a problem for Tanya and Brad. And no, it’s not. I don’t think we have time. 18 again. 18 again. The card’s this way. So going to 18 again. The committee has decided not to go to 17 but to 18 again. Tanya is going to be first to play. Hit it right twice now. See where this one ends up. And this one finds a fairway. [Applause] Perfect. Has he done it again? Three times in a row. No. Hang on. Oh. overcut it into the penalty area. Now his partner Tanya is in the fairway. [Music] Oh, and in. What a shot there by Shawn. Just off the green, but still they can put a putter on it. And a great chance for Sean. Just off the green. What a shot. Oh, you put it so nice. [Applause] No. Yeah. Nice shot. Hang on. Honestly, ducky to the left and Shawn Walsh, Sarah Winter, the winners of the good good king of the mountain presented by Mountain Dew. That was a great time.
