KENOSHA, Wisconsin – The Concordia Texas golf program produced high marks with overall solid play at the Midwest Region Classic. Parker Smith earned a Top-15 finish, while Reese Trujillo paced the ladies at Brighton Dale Golf Links in the two-round event.
In the women’s tournament where the women placed 23rd out of 39 teams, Trujillo carded rounds of 81 and 86 for a 167 total (+23). Remme Trujillo followed closely behind with scores of 85 and 84 for a 169.
Andrea Juarez posted consistent rounds of 86 and 87 to finish at 173, while Paige Zehner recorded an 88 and 89 for a 177 total. Rounding out the lineup, Silvia Alejandra Martinez-Ibarra tallied rounds of 89 and 94 for a 183.

The men’s team earned an 11th-place finish among 45 teams, Parker Smith paced the team with rounds of 72 and 73 for a 145 total (+1). Shon Dellinger followed with scores of 75 and 73 to finish at 148, while Kaden English turned in rounds of 76 and 74 for a 150. Jackson Reynolds shot 79 and 73 for a 152, and AJ So closed out the lineup with rounds of 80 and 74 for a 154

The women’s team will next compete for the Texas Legends Cup, hosted by UMHB on September 29-30. They will then participate in the UD Crusader Cup alongside the men’s team on October 13-14.
