(9-20-2025, 8:00AM): Michigan Center HS graduate Kamryn Shannon has been one of the leaders of the Ferris State Univ. women’s golf team since graduating from MC.

 

Last week, the FSU team started its 2025-26 season with a third-place overall finish at the University of Indianapolis Invitational as final-round play wrapped up on Tuesday (Sept. 9) in Henryville, Ind. 

 

The Bulldogs finished the 54-hole tourney at Champions Pointe with a 16-over par total of 880 overall. FSU carded a 289 score in round one with a 294 in round two and closed with a 297 figure.

 

Shannon shot a 78 in round one and a 70 on Tuesday. In round two, she shot a 67 which broke the FSU school record. She tallied five birdies to finish with a -5 in the record setting round.

 

This is after Shannon tied the school record in 2024, shooting a score of 68 at the Gilda’s Laker Fall Invite.
