Well, this is this is just a whack and hope it’ll land quite soft if he gets it up over the lip. Not bad. He is as good as he could have done from there. That is some up and down. Maybe a telling moment within the hour.

That's not even as good as a 'fried egg' lie, it's deeper. One hell of a whack needed to fly it a few feet. Great shot, followed by canning it on the pro side.

Actually one of the easier shots to get out of the bunker.
It isn’t a whack and hope Coltart. Such an annoying commentator. He’s a professional golfer like you were. Tough shot but one he’s practiced stance, alignment, opening the club face, steep swing his whole life etc.

We are golfer that shoot over 100. My friends only wedge is a pitching wedge. Green side bunker about 15 yards away. Baseball swing, arms bent, pitching wedge into a plugged ball to 3 ft from the pin

I had a similar chip this past weekend . Was happy to just get it out into the fringe. Chipped in about 15ft for par 😊
