Starting these three players in week two of fantasy football would definitely be a mistake. First up is Calvin Ridley against the Rams. Cam Ward was under constant duress last week, pressured on over 50% of his dropbacks against the Broncos. That probably won’t change against an elite LA pass rush. And with Ridley struggles against zone coverage, you’ve probably got better options. Sit Aaron Jones against the Falcons. Atlanta shut down the run last week, holding Tampa’s backs to just 3.3 yards per carry. Meanwhile, Jones was out touched 1611 by Jordan Mason against Chicago. You’ll need him to play a big role as a pass catcher to be worth starting, and that’s just too risky. Finally, I’m worried about Devonte Smith against Kansas City. AJ Brown and Dallas Goddard have been dominant against man coverage, which left Dvonte Smith ranking 62nd in yards per run against man last year. Going up against Steve Spagnolo’s defense, I just don’t see the upside. [Applause]

  1. Aaron Jones IS a pass catcher. How is that risky? That’s what he does. Literally WHY the Vikes took Mason. Cuz Jones is not a bruiser.
