NBA superstar Steph Curry and pro golfer superstar Jordan Speed joined other volunteers here at Carver Votech to put some of the finishing touches on the weight room and they also got a chance to hang out with students dab it up with students. You can see how excited those student athletes were to have Curry and Spear that bus. This is how students at Carver Votech High School reacted to seeing their newly renovated Elite weight room for the very first time thanks to Under Armour and Impact Fitness Foundation. They unveiled that weight room today as part of Under Armour’s Armor Day. It’s a community service day where over 1,000 Under Armour teammates went to 13 different locations across Baltimore City to help serve the community, including here at Carver Votech where they had some help from some special guests. Curry and Spe say they hope this inspires students to reach for their dreams. One interaction, one smile, one handshake, one picture, whatever it is, could uh could kind of, you know, keep a kid motivated in the sense of them understanding that they’re good enough, that they’re talented, that, you know, if they put the right work in that they can, you know, achieve the same dreams and visions and goals. They should feel loved. They should feel supported and then hopefully inspired to go put in that work and and just get better as humans.
